Good enrolling experience. Natalie Baxter was particularly helpful and available throughout this process, including take phone calls and emails for my numerous questions, and I was enrolled on the course very quickly once the admin was done on my side. Happy to recommend.

Unfortunately, Acacia Learning have seriously let me down with the marking of one of my assignments for the CIPD Associate Level Diploma in People Management. I submitted my assignment for marking and didn't pass first time, which is fine - I wasn't expecting to having not written an essay in years. However, I followed the marker's feedback very closely and was sure I would pass the second time round (you get 3 chances). After submitting my essay for the second time, a completely new person marked my essay and scored me 1 out of 4 (which equates to a fail) for a question I had previously scored 4 out of 4 in by the person who originally marked my assignment the first time round. Additionally, the person who marked my essay the second time round was factually incorrect in their feedback - they're supposed to be a HR expert and their feedback contained false and wrong information. This highlights huge inconsistencies in HR knowledge and ability to mark assignments in the so called HR professionals that Acacia get to mark students' assignments. How on earth can I go from passing one of the questions with full marks, to failing it, without changing the answer to the question from my first submission to the second submission? And why am I having my work marked by someone who is factually incorrect? I have complained to Acacia and their response was to speak to my tutor which was unhelpful as this isn't something a tutor can help with, and low and behold when I contacted my tutor about this they said I need to speak to Acacia Student Support Services (what a surprise!) Acacia have a shocking 15 working day SLA for their response time, and I haven't heard back from them yet.

If you're thinking of choosing Acacia for the CIPD Associate Level Diploma in People Management, be prepared for huge inconsistencies in the marking of assignments. You'll most likely pass some Assessment Criteria and fail others the first time round which is normal - you need to pass all of the Assessment Criteria within 1 assignment to pass the whole assignment - you get 3 chances to submit your assignment. However, prepare to be screwed over when a completely different person marks your assignment for the second time and fails you for aspects you previously passed, making your life much harder!
And when you try to reach out to student services, be prepared to wait for ages only to receive an unhelpful response and be sent to the bottom of the queue again when you go back to them.

**Update as of 4/09/2024** I have received a response from Rory on behalf of Acacia (below) asking for further information via Trust Pilot, like my case number and phone number, which I have replied to, and hopefully I will get a proper response to.

**Update as of 9/09/2024** I have now heard back from Acacia saying they've passed on my complaint to the curriculum team, but I haven't heard back from them or any update as to where my complaint is with them.

I've also noticed a pattern in negative reviews for Acacia - all negative reviews seem to have the standard line that they don't have any record of students with the names given to post these reviews, whereas the 4/5 star reviews never say this.

Natalie was really helpful. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions, very friendly and made me feel at ease.

Studying is not easy specially after having a job ad long break from studies but as Natalie said 'Its hard but studying is worth it' & this instantly gave me a positive vibe and motivation to do the course. Natalie is quick in responding, very helpful. I am happy to start my course. Also the platform is very resourceful & handy. It looks like the team behind is really willing to nurture career development.

Natalie was very helpful throughout the enrolment process and always replied quickly to any questions. She made everything very easy and was a pleasure to deal with. Thanks :)

Really friendly and a very prompt responses

Natalie was really helpful in supporting with the entire enrolment set up. Having regular communication and answering all of my questions enabled me to make a decision and sign up to my course.

Their materials are full of typos for PRINCE 2. Tutors are unhelpful, do not really answer questions. I am honestly unsure they know the material.

The online system is archaic and has clearly been put together in a haste.

I do not recommend this provider at all, especially if your course is fully online.

I wish I had known because now I have wasted so much money.

Do not use for PRINCE 2. there are a bunch of other providers that are better suited.

EDIT AFTER RESPONSE: I have changed my rating after reading the response. They could still provide better materials and engagement in a fully online course. And I had a poor experience with tutors.
We no longer have a working relationship. I reached out about concerns but did not get help. Now, it is way too late. Sorry, I got the date wrong.

Natalie was helpful right from the start. After speaking to other providers and not having a positive experience, Natalie put me at ease and answered all my questions.

I have now enrolled and look forward to learning with Acacia!

I completed my Level 3, 5 & 7 HR Management Diploma's with Acacia Learning and had a brilliant experience throughout. I would highly recommend these courses to anyone interested in a HR/People role.

I loved the flexibility of being able to pick when to do modules, as this suited the fact that I was working full-time whilst completing the programmes.

For some modules I completed in the evening online, others in the evening face to face, and some face to face or online over the weekend too. I could create a schedule and pace that suited me and my lifestyle.

All the tutors were really great - they knew their stuff and delivered the training at a good pace and with an encouraging attitude. I genuinely looked forward to the sessions.

I look fondly back at my time studying with Acacia and encourage others to study with them too.

Natalie was brilliant from the initial enquiry email all the way through the enrolment! She answered all my questions and was extremely helpful and made the process very easy!

I have great mentors throughout the time of my course. online classes were so much easier with the assessors help. During time of placement work, I did it with no problems with lots of help and support from the Assessors.

I have just started my journey with learning through Acacia. I initially sent an email and was dealt with by Sophie, she was super helpful and supportive, and guided me through the process. I was then enrolled by Natalie who was also helpful and responsive to any emails I sent.
It has been a bit overwhelming starting my Level 5 but I know I am in good hands should I need to reach out.
