Title: Extremely Disappointing Experience – Poor Communication and No Results

I have had a very disappointing experience with Add People Ltd, and I would not recommend their services to other business owners.

Around 3–4 years ago, I had an agreement with them for SEO and digital marketing. I paid money every month but unfortunately did not see the results I expected, so I eventually stopped using their services earlier this year.

Recently, some of my wholesalers recommended Add People again, so I decided to give them another opportunity. I signed up for an SEO and marketing package costing £650, after being told that work would be carried out within 15 days.

Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing once again. Communication has been very poor, I have received no meaningful updates, and I have not been shown satisfactory evidence of the work promised.

As a business owner, I depend on marketing companies to communicate clearly, provide updates and deliver the services agreed. Instead, I feel my business has been left in the dark.

I am now having to pursue a payment dispute through my bank to recover my money. This is something I never wanted to do, but I feel I have been left with little choice.

I have lost confidence in Add People Ltd. Based on my personal experience, I would not use their services again or recommend them to other businesses.

I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and improves its communication, transparency and customer service.

Great SEO support from Yasmeen and the team

Yasmeen and her team have put a lot of work into supporting the SEO and online visibility of my business, Ladybug Lashes, and I really appreciate their efforts.

From reviewing our website and identifying opportunities to improve, to creating content and securing PR coverage, their work has given us plenty to build on. It’s lovely to see the business featured in publications and our educational content beginning to gain visibility.

As a small business owner, I’m juggling a lot, so I particularly value how clearly Yasmeen explains the results and next steps. Her recommendations are practical and focused on the areas that could make the most difference, rather than leaving me overwhelmed by a long list of technical issues.

Add People are always very helpful and ready to listen. They are obviously looking to better our google ad performance and we are always tweaking things to ensure that happens.

We have been working with Add People for around 3 months now, my main point of contact has been Ashleigh and I am very pleased and impressed with the work that has been carried out so far. Everything they do is explained prior to carrying out the work, which is then carried within the time frames they say. I have a monthly online progress meeting with Ashleigh who presents everything clearly and precisely. Ashleigh is also good at breaking down industry jargon so that I have at least a basic understanding of what they are doing and the reasons behind doing so.

Not happy with the cold calling approach for Google Adwords from a lady called Sima/Siyma. Taking a chance and coming up with lies about our ads / accounts to try and win business. I was very polite but sales person wouldn't listen when I tried to explain our situation and how we weren't in the market for an agency. Spoke over me, not happy with the very aggressive approach to a very cold call.

Myles has been great from start to finish. Literally just emailed him with a issue from google and the website he sorted it within 30 minutes.

Have been working with Addpeople for over 4 years on Google Shopping and 18 months on SEO.

After having several account managers for Google Shopping, Hannah has by far been the best. Our monthly calls are always detailed and thorough, where she goes through the campaigns and changes made during the month and provides helpful advice/suggestions.

Rahman and his team have done an excellent job with managing our SEO. Initially focused on creating content and building credible backlinks, he then began on ways in which we could improve the site. Over the course of the first year of our partnership, improvements in organic were slow. But this year things have taken off, organic traffic has shot up over the last few months (the highest it has even been) and organic ranks are increasing. As a result organic sessions and conversions are now showing a rise. Looking back the first year was basically setting the foundation to allow for this amazing growth.

Also a big thank you to Rhiannon for creating content, Jack for link building and Declan for the UX work.

Professional hackers have done their best to come between me and Add People but thanks to the perseverance and patience primarily of Nicole Baker-Tunney we got our promotion up and running. I highly recommend Add People as being an organisation you can trust to pull out that extra effort when promotion plans go wrong. Thanks also to Michael Gavin and Cassie Owen for your advice and pleasant demeanour. It matters. Bottom line, you can trust Add People to do what it says on the tin.

The Add People team have been clear on the services they offer and been supportive in their engagement with me to improve how well my website works for me. The outcomes from improved SEO has meant, I even had an enquiries off the back of a 'ChatGPT searches!! 😁
The SayHello service helps me keep track and stay engaged with current and prospective clients, releasing time for to focus on landing Gigs. The number of leads I'm receiving via the website increased but more importantly the relevance and quality has significantly improved.

I work for a company that used Add People to manage our Google advertising. I wasn’t the person responsible for hiring them or managing the account directly, but as an employee I saw the effect their work had on the business.

From the warehouse side, it became very noticeable when the number of orders coming through dropped. What should have been an investment to help the company grow instead became a very difficult period for us.

A considerable amount of money was being spent on both the service and advertising, while the results became extremely poor. At the same time, people within the company had to spend many hours investigating problems, checking what had been changed and eventually trying to correct issues themselves.

It wasn’t only the financial loss that was frustrating. It created unnecessary pressure across the business and took people’s time away from their normal jobs.

What disappointed me most was seeing how long the situation continued before things started being corrected internally.

I can only speak from what I experienced as an employee, but it was certainly not a positive period for our company and I would not recommend Add People based on what I saw.

The service is excellent and a great experience in working with the team and learnt a lot in the journey. I had great success in building contents, strategy and brilliant results.
