Great Content

The videos were all really helpful—the content experts were all so knowledgeable. I appreciated that they were free. I also loved how many speakers had free incentives or other links to useful materials. I only wished I had more time to take in all the videos! It’s a lot of information to digest all at once.

Thank you!

Thank you for putting this on and sending it out for free. We can’t afford specialists and expensive programs but we were able to make the most of all the free content for the 4 days. I took lots of notes and have already started seeing some results in our family.

The summit that changed my perspective completely

This online summit on parenting children with ADHD was a profound turning point, a revelation that went far beyond my initial expectations. I started watching to better understand my 8-year-old daughter, whom I suspected might have ADHD, and unexpectedly, discovered a crucial understanding of myself. The expert interviews were incredibly insightful, illuminating not only my daughter's challenges but also revealing the missing pieces of my own life's puzzle.
Before the summit, I was trapped in a frustrating cycle of trying to "fix" my daughter. I questioned her immaturity, struggled with her academic difficulties despite my best efforts as a teacher, and constantly blamed myself for her struggles. I felt lost and inadequate, questioning everything I was doing. However, this summit offered a lifeline, shattering my previous mindset.
The experts' perspectives were incredibly validating, and specific phrases like, "If they could, they would," and "There's always a reason why they procrastinate. Be curious and compassionate," resonated deeply. These simple yet powerful statements helped me shift from a mindset of frustration and blame to one of understanding and empathy. I now approach parenting with a calmer, more compassionate heart.
This summit didn't just provide information; it offered a profound emotional shift. It allowed me to see my daughter, and myself, in a completely new light. By moving away from trying to "fix" her, I could embrace a journey of understanding and support. This experience was truly transformative, offering not just practical advice, but a vital shift in perspective that I desperately needed.

Great advice, but room for growth

I enjoyed the summit greatly, and got a lot out of it for the price (free). I just wish I had time to watch more of the masterclass sessions. I work full time, so I only had a little time at night (after putting the kids to bed) to watch like one session each day. I did get some good stuff out of the sessions I watched though. As a parent, and an educator, I work with ADHD children every day. I also have ADHD myself. I wish there was more advice on how to parent children with ADHD, when you yourself are also not neurotypical. A lot of the advice given is about creating routines and structure. That can be overwhelming and impractical for parents who are also struggling with their own disability and just trying to survive. A few of the experts did share from personal experience, and that was great to hear. Overall, I am glad I stumbled across this opportunity!

A fantastic wealth of valuable info for parents

Such a fantastic wealth of valuable information for parents of kids with ADHD. The questions were so thoughtful and tailored to each speaker's expertise. I wish I had access to these experts 10 years ago when my son was younger. It is so wonderful to see how this kind of help is much more accessible now. Finding professional help is still so difficult. I am so grateful for this summit.

Knowledge that feeds the soul

All the talks were very informative and gave good strategies one could use as a parent and as a teacher, I really liked that. The speakers who have children who are neuro diverse made it more interesting to listen to as they shared their experiences.

A informative & Empowering Experience

The course was informative, educational and empowering for me as a parent. A lot of the material covered, through the discussions between Spela and the experts, were so helpful for me to understand what my daughter experiences. The pointers and advice shared have given me the encouragement to feel better equipped to assist my daughter build the skills she needs to manage any hurdles she may be facing. I have already recommended the strategic parenting platform to several of my friends, who also have children diagnosed with ADHD. Well done and thank you for such an informative 3 day experience.
