PRODUCT THAT REQUIRE A TARRIF ALSO REQUIRE A SIGNITURE.

The Delivery company hired to bring the boots to my a residence needed a signature for the parcel. I was in Alabama taking care of my wife who had Pancreatic cancer. Despite paying all the fees for boots I never received them nor was I able to contact UPS to let them know of the problem total cost to me was 190.00 $. It was not the fault of Alpinstore. However if the boots ever end up at your store, I would gladly pay to have them reshipped. Or if Alpinstore had a way to contact UPS, and let know to reship them I would be grateful.

Still havent recieved my parcel and still not an update, my parcel went missing with ups and cant get through to anyone 420 pounds gone

Great product

Hidden Fees, Poor Communication, and Unreliable Delivery

1 – As many others have pointed out, Alpinestore does not clearly disclose that customers outside the EU must pay import taxes. This is buried in fine print. I was charged £71 in tax on a £148 pair of shoes. You’re left with two options: pay and accept a much higher final cost, or return the item and still lose the import fees. Given the volume of similar complaints, it’s unacceptable they haven’t made this clear and prominent on their website.

2 – Customer service is extremely difficult to reach. There’s no visible email address on the website, and the listed phone number doesn’t work. I only managed to contact them after finding an email elsewhere.

3 – Delivery times are unreliable. They don’t hold stock, so the estimated delivery dates are misleading. My order arrived well after the advertised timeframe.

Overall, I won’t be purchasing from this retailer again.

Good experience

The website's look made me a bit sceptical about whether it was legit, but everything went great. I got my BC cross-country boots; delivery to Denmark was fairly quick, and the product is great, so all in all, a good experience. I'd recommend it, and I now have one more option for buying outdoor gear.
