Prime is a Joke..

Prime is a Joke... It never gets here on-time and i've lost so many items it must have cost amazon £1000's. But at the end of the day i have to chase most things i purchase up!

Amazon You Are A Disgrace!!!

I believe there is something very dishonest going on at Amazon. I ordered a camera lens via the "Amazon Warehouse Deal" using the "Prime" next day delivery service. Delivery for the next day was confirmed via email.
When it did not arrive the next day I was worried as two other items had arrived. When I spoke to the Amazon rep he told me the item had not even been sent from the warehouse and he would have to message them and this could take 48 hours.
I decided to cancel the order and try and reorder using "Prime" to speed things up. I had to wait some 12 hours before the item re appeared but his time it had jumped up in price by over £450. When I raised the query with Amazon I was informed that the item I ordered had never existed and that miraculously another one had appeared only a few hours after at the revised price. I ask you!! Amazon do you really expect me to believe that??? When I demanded that the lens be sold to me at the original price advertised, the operators command of the English language became confused and of course I got no where!! So I have close the account in disgust, I do not like being defrauded and lied to, shame on you Amazon!!

MISLEADING INFORMATION AGAIN

In January my wife bought the Hasbro Star wars base set starter kit with Han Solo this this was for our grandsons birthday present on March 17th. When my grandson operated it the language was Italian, Needless to say my Grandson was upset and my wife and I were not impressed. When I got home on checking the one review for this on Amazon stated "This is in Italian and cannot be changed to English.
The product information conveniently neglects to inform you of this and I can find nothing on line which tells you how to change the language.
I have contacted the manufacturer regarding this and also will be demanding a refund from Amazon.
My wife paid £30 for this and looking at the item I discovered these are second hand Amazon do not state that in the product information either.

Amazon’s shocking customer service

Based on a product I bought of amazon.
LUK 3 piece clutch kit

I ordered this and selected same day delivery as my clutch went on my car and I organised a mechanic to come fit this to my car the following day.

I kept an eye on my amazon app as it tells you your delivery status and were you are in regards to delivery time.

I waited and waited and at 9.30pm I get a message saying item delivered?

I rang up customer service and was told it says delivered so I must have it, basically calling me a lier, on the off chance I waited until the following morning to ask all my neighbours but I was met with the same response of nothing being delivered.

I rang up customer services again and this time spoke to a manager (by this time I cancelled the mechanic who wasn’t best pleased either as he had other bookings) I explained the situation and was told I needed to fill in a police stolen item report and get a crime reference number??

That very same evening a lady knocked on my door who lives about a 10 minute drive away and very kindly handed me over my parcel the driver went to a totally different address!

If your reading this review and are disgusted with what happened to me it doesn’t end here...

So, I rearrange with my mechanic a new day to fit the clutch, he spends around 2 hours taking off my gearbox and taking the old clutch out, he opens up the clutch kit and compares both clutches, to our shock the release bearing looked totally different and the plate was the wrong size. With the mechanic there being paid by me by the hour I asked him to do what he can, he went out and bought a new plate and managed to do something to the release bearing to make it fit.

So he puts it all back together and tests it, alll works fine but has a rattling noise when the clutch isn’t pressed now this is something I’m just going to have to live with but I thought another phone call to amazon is in order to see if they can help with his stressful situation.

Again spoke to a so called manager and after explaining a million times to this ‘non english’ manager that this has now arrived and I have a different query I was told the only option was to send the old clutch back which is not an option in my eyes, but at this point I gave up with amazon, I gave up my amazon prime membership even after they offered to extend it as a ‘gesture of good will’ for 3 months and I will not be ordering from there again

Amazon lying about delivery dates and…

Amazon lying about delivery dates and change them before your eyes with out updateing you and arrange delivery for a week later don’t care your waiting on spinal surgery and you old mattress has been disposed of as their tracking system shows it will be with you by 8pm so surprised to find out when I phone to to be told it would arrive a week later on 18 to have this update will on the phone to say the 19th. Make sure you screen shot every thing as amazon just alter thing to suite them.

Probably the worst customer service in…

Probably the worst customer service in history and it's sad that they actually used to be good.. I have had about 15 calls with them so far, wasted time, money and what not only to keep being told that someone will get in touch with mw in the next 24 hours and NOBODY EVER DOES. It is absolutely ridiculous!

The most reliable online vendor for us

Due to our very rural location other vendors want to rip us off(eg. 1 windscreen wiper £12 delivery charge or won't deliver to us at all...
Amazon has always been reliable for both orders and returns.
Depending on the items location we receive most orders the very next day via Royal Mail or DPD. I'm happy to pay a little more for this service.

Don’t even think about it.

Ok at sending items but if you have a problem with a return it’s a nightmare. Same old Email they send ever time (We are looking into it for you we will get back to you) and never do.

What a company paid for stuff not all of it came contacted them try and find someone who speaks English you have no chance my prime membership is due to be renewed i told them that i wasn't renewing it as i have had so much trouble with my order just happened to look at my bank last night the robbers hit every credit card and bank accounts i had use in total 7 but not just mine my wife used her bank card on my account to order something last year took money out of hers as well im now going to pass this to the police and the fraud team as this is theft so everyone just look at your bank statements and card accounts see if they have done it to you in the past

Well there u go folks they contacted me with message on fb as I put it on there aswell told me I would get a call today from them guess what didn't get the call again from them as promised what a joke of a company I would advise people not to deal with Amazon as there policy is take Ur money were not intrested in any problems u have and if u have used a credit card or bank details with us we will rob off you when we get a chance

Loyal Amazon customer for 19 years

I have been a loyal Amazon customer for the past 19 years. However, for the past few months I have had so much trouble with various purchases from Amazon, mainly due to their price fluctuations and not honouring paid for purchases.
Their Customer Service used to be outstanding and quite rightly created incredible "Brand Trust". However, the past few months have shown a very, very different side to this company.
No longer customer friendly, in fact, exactly the opposite and I find the shopping experience with them now far too frustrating. Also time consuming when things go wrong, spending hours on the phone, being passed from pillar to post within their customer services getting nowhere.
Amazon will no longer be my "go to" first place to shop, the experience is too stressful, I find lately that the smaller trader is a lot more appreciative and attentive for the custom and I am now thinking that I should be supporting the small independent trader.
Atrocious attitude for a company to have toward it's most loyal customers.
I also noted that often now Prime prices are more expensive!! I thought I had already paid for next day postage with my Prime membership.
I have now cancelled my Prime membership and will give my custom to more appreciative online merchants who are a lot easier to contact and personally speak to and there really are a lot out there waiting for ex-Amazon customers.

A truly appalling experience

Amazon Prime is the biggest con on the internet (and I include penis enlargers and Nigerian Prince's who simply must share their wealth), never before have I had such a terrible experience with such a highly regarded company. Their customer service is so hit an miss it's more like Russian Roulette than a service you pay for.

In the last year alone we have had 19 instances of damage, a driver destroyed our postbox because he thought it was the Tardis- he pushed an item into the box so hard it burst the first time, and the second time it burst AND tore the box off the gate destroying it.

Then a driver brought me the item a third time- he must have been the genius they disciplined for stupidity because he literally just threw the box at us and stormed off- slamming the gate so hard on it's latch that it bent a £4000 security gate bolt. Yeah they're paying for it all.

By the time they reimburse me for the three instances of damage they will have lost £3000 for three items at £9 each- serve them right.

Missing items, wrong items, damages out the wazoo, lies and scheming from operators and management alike. It took threatening lawsuit to even get to someone who could even understand English properly- thankfully they are now listening although they seem to be back to ignoring me again- But pay they will.

Not worth the Prime membership, not worth the time and stress of dealing with such a poor company.

They also offer no fuss return policy even if you used the item you can return it regardless

Amazon Prime

Amazon Prime: Generally, I have good service from Amazon. I'm an Amazon Prime customer and have enjoyed using their tv and music service whilst benefiting for free and fast delivery on certain items. Great service Amazon! Every now and then they send me emails to review products. Sometimes I respond to give a review. Today I tried to respond with a positive review about a lock I had bought. But for some reason, the Amazon robot said I was not eligible to review items. No idea why. I'm not going to wade through pages of their Community T & C s to find out. There is no way of contacting a person at Amazon either to discuss the issue. I have spent £000s through my Amazon ac but obviously not a valued customer. Not enough to review a £17 lock anyway. Think I will review my Prime sub ac especially as there is Now TV. Cheerio Amazon Prime - your loss:)

Just received a package that was meant to contain paper bags - they sent paper napkins!

Just received a package that was meant to be my order of stout brown paper bags.

What they sent was a small plastic bag containing 20 cheap and nasty paper napkins that are the tiniest and flimsiest that I have ever seen. Only fit for the recycling bag.

To be fair, when I called, they agreed to refund my money within 5-7 business days, and told me I could keep the napkins.

Still means that I have a kids party tomorrow and no goody bags.

Worst experience ever...!

Worst experience ever. Don’t bother using amazon! They’ve gotten so big they don’t care about customers anymore! They have drivers who deliver to your ‘neighbour’ and don’t even leave a card. I received an email (whilst at home waiting for my delivery) telling me my package has been left with my neighbour Rebecca! Interesting seeing as none of my neighbours have this name. Called amazon for help and get told it’s in another block, not where I live, then get cut off! Tried calling back 3 times and people who I consider less helpful than if a toddler was on the other end of the phone did absolutely nothing to assist me. I’ve given up... amazon come and collect your crap, I’m not going to search for it! & I’m the meantime give me back my money, I’ll buy from someone who appreciates my custom and actually delivers TO MY DOOR as advertise.

Anything for Anything!

Like everywhere, research what you're purchasing before clicking buy now as sometimes things are a bit misleading. But if you make calculated purchases you can get pretty much anything from Amazon for any occasion. Love it!
