ive been with amazon for 8 or 9 months ive spent well over 1500 pounds on 70 or so items i am a member of prime 7pounds 99 a month i think it is well worth every penny everythings been perfect except for 1 little item which was rubbish but cost about 4 pounds so i binned it no probs personally i think amazon are fantastic not perfect but what company is id just like to say thankyou amazon and thankyou trust pilot for providing such a good service to the world the only people who will disagree with this is companies like strong current enterprises limited who sell tvfix and many other totally rubbish rip off goods for letting the honest world know how bad they are

Amazon delivery services, are very poor and chaotic, delivering wrong items, delayed deliveries, delayed picking up returned items, delivering items to the wrong residents without signature, and was extremely difficult to get it back. Amazon refused returns even if wrong items received, CS in particular from India speaks very poor English and due to language barrier they cancelled items without permission from customers, and I had to wait for months for items to be received!
As a result of this chaos my account was blocked.
Due to this chaos of the delivery services and missing items, I have asked for all deliveries to go straight to the post room next to concierge, just 1 minutes from my address , “it is a delivery, pick up and collecting point “ so each item would be scanned and signed for by a 3rd party as a witness! As All other trust worthy delivery services do apart from amazon. However amazon account specialist refused this option just to give more chances for dishonest drivers to misbehave and increase number of victims!
Worst customer service I've experienced
You would think that diddling the British government as well tax-payers like you me out of out billions of Pounds by registering their company offshore, Amazon would at least be up to honouring deliveries to their customers.
Not so
Having ordered a pair of earphones for my grandson, delivery was promised within a week after purchase. Date arrived but no earphones and an extremely unhappy grandson at not having received his birthday present.
There then followed no less than 6 emails within 24 hours, each one contradicting the previous, one saying that the order had been cancelled and a refund was being processed, the next email confirming that the order was still alive but due to circumstances could not be delivered, followed by yet another confirming the first (order cancelled), then by two emails contradicting that one saying they were still processing it. The last email confirmed that the item WOULD DEFINITELY be delivered the following week (by now some 2 weeks after having placed the order)
Was it delivered as promised
You guessed it - After staying in all day to take delivery, nothing . . . not a sausage . . . not a bean
Finally cancelled order. The last time Amazon will have had my custom.

The only positive thing I can say is the flowers are beautiful! Here is the negative: My daughter is living in London and attending University, I live in CA USA. Her birthday is Feb 7th and I wanted to send her flowers, I placed my order on Jan 30th, this is 9 days before her birthday, because of this I chose the 3-4 day delivery option, which would still get these to her a few days before her birthday. On Feb 6th the flowers had not been delivered, so I did a live chat with Amazon and the gent that I spoke to assured me the flowers would be delivered by the next day still on time for her birthday. He guaranteed me that he would personally make sure the delivery was on time and he offered me a 5GB Gift Card for the troubles. Feb 8th NO FLOWERS!! Had another love chat with Amazon, the gal I spoke to was of no help, she offered me another 5GB card. I escalated the conversation to a manager named Dave, I explained everything to Dave about the flowers / birthday and the 'non delivery' and my extreme disappointment in the way this was being handled. Guess what...he offered me a 10GB card for my troubles. Dave told me that the flowers that I had ordered were out of stock and that is why they were never delivered. So I asked him why I was never notified via email or though the Amazon account about this situation. Dave had no answer for this, but he did say at this time the flowers where back in stock and he would personally assure me that they would be delivered asap. Dave also offered to refund me in full due to the issues this order has caused, he said the refund would be issued once the flowers were delivered. Thank you Dave!! Feb 12th NO FLOWERS...are you kidding me!!! Back on Amazon for another live chat with a manager, this time I was told the order was stuck in 'the system' and I needed to cancel it and re-order the flowers, he also told me the flowers had gone up in price (probable because of Valentines Day) so he offered me free shipping to make up the price difference. I did cancel the first order and I did re-order them at the higher price, the free shipping was automatically inputted and the flowers were FINALLY delivered on Feb 14th, this is 16 days after I originally ordered them. So far I have not been refunded as Dave said I would be. Wish me luck on getting the refund and good luck to anyone who orders flower via Amazon!!!! I highly suggest you go somewhere else for flowers!!
Amazon have become unreliable.
We've placed two orders recently - both were presents for children. NEITHER of them arrived. Amazon took a long time to let us know and in the most recent case could not even offer a replacement. Instead, they offered a refund which will take "5-7 working days". Funny how it doesn't take the same 5-7 days for them to take your money when you place the order? Disappointed doesn't even begin to describe how we feel. Worse still, we pay £7.99 a month for the privilege of Amazon Prime... worth it? I think not.

Prime next day delivery can be delivered after 4 days. If we reach customer care, they can't answer or cancel the order! Then what is the value add for the money paid for Prime???? Poor customer service. I cancelled my Save&Subscribe; stopped my auto renewal of Prime membership! It's better to find alternate or high street shops.

Terrible service
Service in general is worsening - as others have said - Prime deliveries are often taking more than the advertised 'next day'. customer service is terrible - call centre overseas and I had to explain the problem 5 times before the person understood the issue. Orders not delivered as promised and no response to complaints. I am a Prime member, but cancelling. Really gone downhill and I'm also not impressed that they don't pay their taxes.
Amazon Marketplace & A-Z Claim Process
Never thought I would write this. Loyal customer for 12 years, Prime members etc. My wife bought a couple of 'weighted' blankets which are clearly falsely advertised and not fit for purpose. The seller is a scammer, offers 50% of our money back, we refuse post them back at our own expense and the seller denies receipt. We raise an A-Z claim and Amazon completely fail to address the issue, for 3 weeks I phone them, seller finally refunds 50% of the fee Amazon think this is okay, I have to call again and get them to go back to the seller.

Received wrong product, and Amazon didn't deal very well with the situation.I spoke with 4 customers service and 1 supervisor,and all they could say was:"i checked the policy and i can't do that,i checked the policy and that's not possible,i'm sorry".Atm waiting for refund.The company should pay more attention to customers because Amazon cannot deal with wrong products situations.I ordered another one and works fine.1 star for company(for sending the wrong product),1 star for Amazon(for dealing with situation)
The Amazon courier
The Amazon courier attempted to delivery when I was out: they left a card saying they'd make 4 more attempts to deliver. All OK up to that point. As I wasn't sure when I'd be in I left a note saying clearly: "Amazon - Please put the parcel in the shed" (there being no lack of clarity on what that meant). On my return I found a card saying "parcel in the bin". They had left it in the refuse bin which was outside my gate as it was collection day! Fortunately I recovered it in time. Just how stupid do you have to be to do that?!
Not to be trusted
For many years sold mostly books. Out of the blue, without any reason, they told me I could no longer use their website. As a consequence I went into my details and delisted all the books. Suddenly I get messages saying I have sold a book and they are concerned that I haven't reacted. I contacted them by a tortuous route (their emails are always NO_REPLY) to explain the situation and to insist they never contacted me again. Today i received another NO_REPLY email telling me I still hadn't dealt with an outstanding sale. With a normal company I could threaten to sue them. With AMAZON they simply get me a bad name without any recourse.
Amazon, 'Best-in-Class' Customer Service
I've used Amazon for years but after experiencing an issue, I'm compelled to write a positive review on how well Amazon managed to resolved it. I ordered a pair of boots from a UK Seller but I never received it. As it was on tracked delivery and it was reported as delivered, the Seller washed their hands of the issue. I was able to comment and rate the seller which resulted in further brash emails from them, and then I was able to report the email dialogue to Amazon. Furthermore I was able to go onto the Amazon site and contact Amazon via live chat. Amazon were quick to respond, empathetic of my situation and refunded me in full with an Amazon Gift Card. This was followed up with an email explaining when this will be added to my account. In my view, its 'Best-in-Class' Customer Service!

A flag of a review of DPD. I would never have order if I had of known it was DPD. I think it's poor you use DPD for Prime - they are a terrible business who cost people so much time and inconvenience. I am not stuck unable to return my delivery, and unable to get it at any close date therefore unable to return it and purchase it from a provider who does not use DPD!
Why would Amazon use DPD???
After a terrible experience with DPD for an EE phone, now DPD have spoiled my usually reliable Amazon Prime service. Again a lie about trying to deliver it on Friday (the wrong day anyway), then you call them and they cannot deliver on the day they were supposed. They offer to leave a very expensive white label good outside, good, a week today...
Amazon if ever I were to leave my cherished Prime Account it would be because you use DPD. I genuinely would not have ordered the product had I realised you were using DPD. Perhaps and advanced warning in the app would be helpful. It's a shame you associate yourself with such a brand.
We are now just cancelling the order and going to another supplier, the machine will probably be lost sadly as I am sure DPD could not deliver it back to Amazon. Good luck. Don't respond to this comment promising a response as you did the last time - and surprise didn't deliver on your promise.

Amazon is on the slide. Their drivers regularly don’t show up with the delivery and lie, for example that the address is invalid or they attempted to deliver but no one was home.
I am a Prime member (not for much more longer) and so they have my phone number as well as my address, never once received a call from them that they have an issue delivering.
Amazon is simply wasting my money and time, and their service level is not where it used to be a decade ago.
My other issue is that they do not vet sellers and their suppliers, most of the products available on Amazon are now bad quality, non-Eu compliant Chinese products and it is a nightmare to deal with those local sellers. they just want to dump their products on the market and they don’t automatically refund you. Amazon should take responsibility and set up quality controls in their processes.

Great, when it all works and 99/100 it will. But if it doesn't then it can be a nightmare to resolve. Overall though they are cheap and some of their deals are very good value for money and the vast majority of sellers (unlike eBay) are superb.
The best online shop
I ordered a motherboard and it took longer than i expected.I emailed them and wrote my problem.Then without any confirmation they sent me a new one with express delivery(i didn't pay more).The new one came in 2 days.
