Thank you, Apprentify, for helping me attain a Distinction grade in my Data Analyst Apprenticeship (Level 4). I want to sincerely thank you for your guidance and support throughout the course. The tutors and coaches were excellent, Gio, Virgiliu and Adrian.
When I started the course, I was the least experienced student in my cohort in data analytics, but this didn’t discourage me. Although I had never worked with Python and SQL, my confidence grew as the course progressed with your support. I can now handle and analyse data with much confidence. Moreover, a distinction grade is the cherry on the cake.
The course was excellent, very informative and the support the staff and everyone in the wider team gave was great; they're always there to support and help you get through the course with ease. Definitely recommend courses via apprentify for anyone building their career.
Great experience, all the lessons were very interactive and fun too.
I am extremely pleased with my apprenticeship that was delivered by Apprentify. The entire syllabus was easy to follow with things like project/exam dates and learning resources being easily accessible through the learning platform BUD. Overall, the support i was given was really good, which can be backed up by the fact i have achieved a distinction grade which i am extremely thankful for.
My trainer Stephen Spedding was amazing, and was extremely helpful from start to finish, constantly giving tips and advice on how to answer questions and areas that can be improved.
The only downside would be that the once a month classroom sessions that last a whole day can be quite underwhelming, but the trainers do try their best to keep them as interactive as possible.
Apprentify is no longer the company it once was. What used to be a professional, quality focused organisation has shifted sharply towards micromanagement, performance monitoring and quantity over quality.
There are a lot of big promises and corporate talk, but very little transparency or consistency in reality. Roles change without proper consultation, expectations move constantly, and experienced staff are treated as though they cannot be trusted to manage their own workloads. Senior operations leadership appears disconnected from delivery and curriculum realities.
Staff wellbeing feels like an afterthought, morale is extremely low, and many good people have already left or are actively trying to leave. The focus now seems to be on growth and numbers rather than quality, stability or professional care.
My honest advice: do not risk moving to this company based on what you are promised. If you are in a stable role elsewhere, think very carefully before leaving it. The culture is not what it is presented to be.
Tow was great and very supportive throughout the whole apprenticeship, all the teachers for the Online Classes are great too.
The course material provided, is informative without being too overwhelming
Apprentify has helped me learn so much about digital marketing, and now I feel confident and well prepared for the industry. I’ve had great support throughout the journey. A big shoutout to Simon for his excellent lessons, and to Chris for being an amazing coach who provided exactly the guidance I needed.
Thank you to my coach, Chris Schumacher! He has been a great coach and I have learnt a lot under his tuition. He was always a joy to speak to as well during our check-ins. Grade: Distinction
I've just finished Data Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship. It was a great experience, I've learned a lot and became much more confident in my job. My coach Adrian Smith and the teacher Giovanna Humphries were professional, very knowledgeable and incredibly supportive throughout the programme.
Andy Smith was fantastic. Natalie Taylor was fantastic. If you get these guys as your supports, then you will do well. I owe my apprenticeship to them.
My apprenticeship experience started off quite poorly. Communication was inconsistent, and I was often given different information by different people, which didn’t match what my friend on the same programme was being told either. My previous tutor was lovely, but looking back I realise I was missing a lot of key guidance I genuinely needed. This left me feeling extremely stressed, overwhelmed, and confused after each catch up.
The workload was intense and definitely not the “7 hours a week” that was advertised. If an assignment took longer than the expected completion time, you’d be questioned and sometimes even given a backhanded “logging off-the-job hours correctly” assignment, even when the extra time was because I was taking notes and practising properly. I’m very lucky my employer is amazing and flexible, because there were many times I didn’t have enough time to do my actual job alongside the apprenticeship work.
The online classrooms also felt unnecessarily dragged out, and most of the time I felt I could have gone through the PowerPoint myself in an hour. However Steph and Simon did a good job at making these sessions as engaging as they can be.
A lot of the assignments, from the online classrooms and on Bud, made me question whether the workload was a good use of my time.
However, I’ve raised my rating to 3 stars for one reason. I was reassigned Tow as my tutor about a month before EPA, and she has been completely transformative. After my very first meeting with her, I felt 1000x better. For the first time, things were clear. She gave me proper direction, clear actions, and constant, speedy support. Tow has been absolutely amazing and genuinely pivotal in helping me achieve a distinction despite the long, tedious journey beforehand.
If my whole programme had been delivered by Tow, my experience may have been very different and those that do have her from the start are lucky.
Overall, the stress that this course unfortunately caused me does mean I’m unlikely to recommend the course to others, and I have filled the apprentice survey out with honest feedback which I feel would majorly improve the course.
it was a smooth journey and i had all the suppor i neeeded whenever i needed it
I was one of the first Cohorts taking the fundraising level 3 course and unfortunately some of the coaches I was allocated left so in total I had 3 coaches. However I enjoyed the course and I have come out with a distinction in level 3 fundraising.
Great pace and materials delivered by an amazing tutor. I was supported by a supportive mentor along the way. Both Gio and Adrian are experts in their fields and I couldn't have asked for more.
Fundraising level 3 = amazing!
The Level 3 Fundraising apprenticeship has been the most incredible formal learn experience of my life. I would recommend anyone (especially those in their fifties) to do one should the chance be offered.
Thank you Juice Academy and Apprentify
The teaching provided through the apprenticeship was excellent, informative and engaging. The classes were mostly led by industry experts and gave me an excellent understanding of the wider sector, as well as practical and insightful advice.
However, the information provided and structure around the final assessment was incredibly unclear and confusing, meaning that I feel that the experience was so much more stressful than it needed to be as we were constantly given vague and conflicting instructions. It didn't help that my personal tutor changed three times and each time, they seemed unsure of the proper processes or necessary paperwork, despite offering useful industry advice.
The workload is also poorly structured. Employers were contracted to allow less hours a week than the lessons and estimated time spent on assessments combined, meaning there is an unspoken need to complete work outside of working hours. There is also limited support in working with employers to help you gain the practical experience necessary to meet all criteria.
Whilst I did ultimately enjoy what I learned throughout my apprenticeship and value the qualification I have gained to benefit my career, I would not recommend it to my colleagues due to the extra stress caused by poor communication and organisation.
Absolutely brilliant course to be on and both Caroline and Mark ensured we understood the whole syllabus and ensured I understood the why, when, what, how, where on all aspects of the course and especially where to hone in on every step of the framework to my job role. Couldn't be thankful enough to the team so really appreciate it. I hope the other students will gain the same knowledge as I did. THANK YOU!
Everyone was very helpful and special mention to my coach, Tow who was there every step of the way! Would highly recommend!
Really disappointed with what has been delivered for our team, the tutor very disorganised and lacking in knowledge. The team really dread every session, defeats the purpose as employers.
