So much better than linen. Same cool, relaxed feel but just a little more structure and shape. I will be replacing all my linen shirts with hemp as they wear out!

After a little confusion on whether the shirt I ordered was in stock, the product was hand delivered to my front door. Top-tier customer service and really appreciated the great coms throughout. Shirts are great quality - well done guys!

I bought two shirts pink and turquoise. They are lovely to wear, the feel of the material is encompassing. A guy walking past me at the Edinburgh festival said I love your shirt and hopefully he will soon be a new customer.
I do think there should be short sleeve versions as well.

I am so happy with the experience I have had so far with Babble & Hemp. I love the shorts, I have two pair and they are great. I’m now onto the shirts. The quality and fit are perfect. The communication is so great and nothing seems to be too much trouble.
I love the ethos and transparency of the company. I like also that queries and size questions etc are followed up. It’s a real personal touch and does not feel like any other online shopping experience. Thanks guys

3/5 Stars for the Samarkand Blue Hemp Shirt.

I do really like the design and colour of this shirt - it's fantastic for summer and feels great to wear. However, I am disappointed with the craftsmanship/quality control re the buttons. Within a short time, I have had to restitch three different buttons which isn't something I would expect from a premium product. It's possible I just received a one-off faulty item but it has been disappointing.

Update: Since leaving my original review, Charlie reached out to me several times offering a refund or replacement, and despite me not being responsive, he still went above and beyond and sent me a couple of pairs of their boxers - which I really like. This kind of proactive customer service from a local company deserves recognition.

While my initial issue with the shirt was genuine, I am really impressed with how the company handled things and the quality of their other products. It's clear they care about their customers and stand behind what they make.

This is a great company. Having bought several shirts from B&H I was intrigued by the shorts. I had a few questions which Charlie (the founder) responded to by phoning me.
Great service, great ethics, great product. One happy customer. B&H deserves its success.

I saw an offer advertised and I was curious about the idea of hemp clothing - I’m now completely sold. As a material, hemp is great, softer and more durable than linen and doesn’t crease nearly as easily. In terms of the quality of the clothes themselves, I have tried three different shirts, the boxers, and a pair of shorts. They’ve been made to a really high standard and I find the sizing guide spot on. This shirts are a looser cut, but still tailored - so you don’t end up billowing like a sail like many linen shirts. The clothes are great value for money. I really couldn’t recommend them more.

I purchased a shirt on May 31st but the shirt was too large. I contacted customer care who advised I pay for the return and they will send out a new size. I posted the shirt back just under a month ago and i can see that it was delivered. Since then I have sent multiple emails and DM via instagram and have not heard back on the progress of my exchange. I am now out of pocket for the shirt, postage and not received any communication on whether I will receive a refund or get sent my order.

A quality shirt - fantastic colour, fine material, great cut….and a personal massage from the owner saying thanks for the custom! I will be buying again.

These shirts are 10/10. I’ve bought two are they are still as good as new!

Babble and Hemp have become one of my all-time favorites brands. The fabric is incredibly breathable and softens beautifully with every wash, without losing its shape. It’s got that perfect, laid-back drape and durability that makes it ideal for everything—from casual days out to lounging at home. I also love knowing it’s made from a sustainable material—there’s something grounding about wearing something that’s good for the planet and built to last. After years of wear, it still feels like the shirt I reach for first.

I've now bought two B & H shirts. They are wonderful. Beautifully designed and so comfortable. Great range of colours as well

Now this, dear reader, is a tale of human stupidity rescued by outstanding customer service, starring a dim bloke and a splendid shirt.

I learned of Babble and Hemp from an ad on Instagram. I have had a hemp shirt for years - just the one - and I have been searching high and low for a supplier from which I could get more.

In my defence, it was first thing in the morning, I had barely woken up, and I was clearly suffering from a bout of DBS (Dim Bloke Syndrome) when I ordered...

When the parcel arrived, I was delighted to see the colour of the shirt - so intense. Unfortunately as I got it out of the packaging I realised it was a "small" - and I am at the other end of the size chart, with a 48-50" chest. I'm also tall in the body (6'3" overall ) which makes shirt buying a challenge.

I confessed my stupidity in an email to Charlie, who sympathised and took pity on me; a new shirt crossed in the mail with my return.

This time it fitted! Huzzah! And what a thing of beauty it is. Beautifully made, long enough in the body and the sleeve, sufficiently generously sized around the midriff to save me looking like an overstuffed sausage, this is the shirt I have been looking for. I think I shall be spending a few more quid with Babble and Hemp very soon!

The shirts always come well packaged and after I got my shirt size wrong, Charlie went out of his way to meet up in person and complete my exchange.
Looking forward to placing another order once the new colours land.
