Blue Sky Academy - Georgia is an excellent Flight School operating out of Natakhtari Airfield, only a short drive from Tbilisi which makes it convenient for most students. I started my flight training (Private Pilot - Helicopter) in the United States, but due to family circumstances had to move to Georgia. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was able to continue my flight training in Georgia albeit fixed wing (PPL-A) since, at the time they did not have rotary wing assets to conduct helicopter training. The online theory classes they offer are easy to access, and to navigate through. They offer plenty of instructor support for theory and all the instructors that I have trained with have been very professional, positive and take a genuine interest in your success as a student pilot. I have been very happy with my training experience at Blue Sky Academy. I highly recommend them as a flight school.

The instructors are not only highly professional and knowledgeable, but also genuinely passionate about aviation and teaching. A short, but honest review from a long-term student. This school keeps the words. If you're on the way to get your license or rating you will get it, just follow the guidelines. All instructors and managers are helpful and polite, but do not expect laissez-faire behavior. Important: if you're learning in Georgian branch get ready to visit Czech Republic or Austria for exams.

Training here never felt like just another flight school — it was more like joining a family of people who genuinely love aviation and truly want to help you grow as a pilot.
The instructors are incredibly professional, but flying with them always feels easy, enjoyable, and relaxed. You can tell they really love teaching and watching you gain confidence and truly "spread your wings." They don’t just teach you how to pass exams — they teach you how to actually fly.
And the flying in Georgia is something special. The mountainous terrain, the weather, and the constantly changing conditions push you to a whole new level of skill and experience that you’ll carry with you anywhere.
Over the course of my training, many of the people here became real friends. I’m sincerely grateful to the entire team for this experience, especially Artyom, Giorgi and Dinar, for some of the best flights of my life happened right here.
