I have ordered form allegra twice now

I have ordered form allegra twice now. The first was a resonably good experience. I was very happy with the quality of the clothes I received. BUT I returned a dress after contacting them about it and never received a refund. They didn’t get back to my emails about that issue. It was only £16 so I didn’t waste too much energy chasing it up.

My second order was in april, I still haven’t recieved anything from them. I have emailed 4x and contacted them on Instagram and not heard back once. It makes me think that this supposed small British business is a scam and have been selling things advertised as a closing sale, taking people’s money and not providing anything. DON’T BUY FROM THEM.

Poor quality

I’ve placed a couple of orders with Allegra. One I sent back and had to chase multiple times for a refund (which I eventually got but after reading previous reviews I didn’t get my hopes up). I didn’t get any sort of tracking email from them which made chasing my return a nightmare. The other I kept but later found at a fraction of the price on the Missguided website - the product was exactly the same. Clothes and jewellery are poor quality and do NOT justify the price tag. I’ve unfollowed from Facebook and Instagram and won’t be reordering.

china knock offs!

terrible service. Also items are all not designed in house. Many items can be found on Aussie sites months before they drop, and are all made in china (and mostly can be found for a 1/4 price) on ebay and aliexpress months before they even drop on allegra. Paid over £30 for something that I then brought on aliexpress for £8 and it's EXACTLY the same just without Allegra tag! Total fraud!

SHOCKING service

SHOCKING service where the item never turned up, multiple emails and calls were ignored and eventually I had to reclaim my money through PayPal - based on all the terrible reviews I wouldn't order from them again! The whole process took 4 months for nothing except hassle.

It is a shame to leave this review as…

It is a shame to leave this review as the clothes are lovely. Ordered two items from Allegra and only one turned up. After countless emails chasing they then informed me that the product was out of stock and that I would be refunded, 3 weeks later and no refund... I chased a few times with no response so had to raise a complaint with Paypal to get my money back. What a shame. I wouldn't recommend buying from this brand. Spend your money on another small business.

Disastrous business, don't bother.

I placed an order 26.02.18 that I am STILL waiting for. Received no confirmation or tracking e-mail from Allegra only PayPal. I contacted the team after a week with no response. I sent another e-mail the next day to which they responded they were looking into it and would be back very shortly. Did I hear back, no? I e-mailed AGAIN and was told the e-mail was stuck in the outbox, items were out of stock, my order was stuck with processing etc. and they would be sending out the remainder of the order on next day delivery. This was 3 days ago.

I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt after a similar story with the first order I placed (this is the second and most definitely the last one). They even blocked me on Instagram after I reached out publicly because I was not getting a response. Customer service is pathetic, rude, unapologetic, full of excuses, lack of actual information. Such a shame as they have such lovely pieces and I love to support small businesses but when you can't manage what you've got. I won't be doing so again.

- Eventually got a full refund, no real apology now ignoring my e-mails since inquiring why they lied about sending my order on next day. Really can't fathom how they think their service and treatment is acceptable.

I'm a bit gutted to leave this review

I'm a bit gutted to leave this review, because I honestly thought the clothes I received from Allegra were lovely initially & would have been pretty excited to order more from them. However, I can't do that and I would certainly not recommend them to anyone else - which is a shame, as it would be great to champion a small business. The problem is the customer service - After waiting way too long to receive my order, I got it, only to notice the necklace I ordered was missing. I got in touch promptly to say 'love the clothes, but necklace is missing, can you send it out?' - at first I got a reply, then nothing.

I have over the last few weeks contacted Allegra via Live Chat, E-mail, Facebook Messenger, Their Facebook Wall and Instagram direct message - each time just saying, can you send out the necklace & confirm to me when it is dispatched. Each time it's been ignored - which is particularly galling as they have been active across social media posting insta stories and facebook posts, but pretending I've not been trying to contact them. (It's even showing the 'seen' icon on messages - so actively read and choosing not to acknowledge.)

So the necklace customer service issue is pretty awful all round - but at least the clothes I got from them I loved, even if they did charge me for an item I was never given. The other issue is - wearing the brocade dress out the other night, the brocade fabric at the front had started to fray from the seam - on it's first wear. (And it wasn't because it was snug, I probably could have done with a slightly smaller dress.) I've now had to pay an extra amount to a tailor to have it fixed.

The 2 star rating is because the cropped jumper and embellished kimono I received from Allegra are honestly lovely and 2 of my current favourite pieces, credit where it's due.

I notice they have replied to a few other people via trustpoilot - If this issue is resolved and I receive my money back for the missing item, as well as a reasonable explanation for the lack of contact - I would consider looking at their line again in the future. But until then - A V O I D.

Love my purchases

I have ordered from this company on MANY occasions. Pretty sure I have most of their collection. Always quick delivery, lovely customer service and great quality clothing! :-) Overall very happy with Allegra.

After contacting Allegra in regards to …

After contacting Allegra in regards to a dress my daughter had ordered in February (it is now June and she only just received the dress) they at first seemed polite and apologetic and said that it must have been lost in the post and would we like a refund or replacement with a gift as an apology. We asked for a replacement.
My follow ups were ignored after this, I did receive one reply with was fairly curt, assuring me that when the dress came back into stock we would receive it and be notified of its despatched status.
We received nothing, no word from allegra despite constant emails asking for updates and the whereabouts of the address. We were losing hope that we would ever receive the item or a refund, so we asked the bank to investigate. One day after this, the dress arrived (almost four months later).

Do not fall for the 'boho, chic' vibes, these people are poor at customer service and do not care for their customers. They reacted childishly, ignoring emails they did not want to deal with and forgetting they had been paid for providing a service and an item. Aloof and "too good for you" attitude.

Do not bother, there are plenty of great outlets with the same/similar clothes without the hassle.

Avoid!!

Ordered two dresses in their "Black Friday Sale 2016". Waited two months for receipt of my order, then only received one of the two dresses I ordered. Sent several e-mails prior to this, never received update. All my comments on their Facebook page asking for update on order were removed. Only received refund for dress I did not receive after escalating Paypal dispute. Appalling customer service. Should not be operating an online shop if they are incapable of dealing with the basic mechanics of processing and sending orders.

Fab clothing range, great quality and good customer service

I felt I had to write this review to counter a negative one on here.
I have ordered several times from this company, orders always arrive in good time and on the odd occasion I've pre-ordered something they are always quick to let me know when I can expect to receive it. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

**BEWARE** Never received item, Shocking customer service

After two weeks of waiting for my dress to be delivered I have given up hope and going through Paypal to get a refund. No response from sites email. Comments were deleted off companies Facebook page, @ukallegra without responding. My first Facebook message I received a response claiming that Royal mail had attempted delivery and left a calling card- which was not true. After explaining this, I never received a response. Several message later, still no contact.
AWFUl costumer service and took payment of £50 for a dress that was never received. BEWARE DO NOT USE. Similar complaints about this shop on ASOS Market place with others also not receiving items.
