I had a trip to Cancun booked for the end of August. Unfortunitely with all thats going on with Covid19 I had to cancel. After hearing horror stories from other travel agents I was worried about the cancelation process. I had no need to be. I dealt with Elaine during my correspodence who was very helpful and within 3 weeks of cancelling I had recieved a 100% refund back into my bank account. While I could not travel with Budget Travel this year, this experience has made sure I will return to them when I go to book a holiday in the future.
No refund yet for Easter holiday. I have not had any contact about my refund since the holiday was originally cancelled months ago. I spoke to a lovely girl at the time who advised they would be in touch, but no contact since. Could I have an update on my refund please? Thanks in advance.
I have never used budget travel before but absolutely will in the future. Danielle was exceptionally patient with me as I've had 2 holidays previously cancelled and she was expert at advising places to go to. Fingers crossed I get away in 2 weeks' time but if I don't I will definitely be booking again with budget travel.
These are exceptional times we are going through and the travel industry are having to change things on an hourly basis. They are to be commended for their professionalism and communication. Well done

I was delighted that she was still employed by Budget Travel as I last dealt with her in January when I was in NYC and confirming flights booked four months previously. Aoife has always been pleasant and helpful and a friendly voice when assisting with even the most complex travel arrangements.
No info on insurance benefits and travel ban.
So stressful. Budget travel have refused to refund me even though I have sent them several emails with supporting government documents and information given to me by CCPC stating that I am entitled to a refund from budget travel. Wilfully deceptive in their dealings with me and display utter contempt for customer service.
Easy to use website/app. Let's see how the trip is in a few months.
22 days gone by now still no refund the was I was treated from January been over charged to when I got the phone call Friday march 20th been told 6 weeks then when 6 weeks went by been told I was a lier it was 12 weeks for a refund then been brushed off no updates for weeks till i took matters in to my own hands and rang aer lingus to be told refund was issued weeks ago to magic the money was in your back account been told yous are putting the refund through now but ye 3 weeks later still no refund no reply to emails people can go back to work so yous have staff now what the problem now its a joke for someone who was a great customer always booked with yous always paid upfront to be treated like this is a joke of a company don't care about your customers phones off the email you give on the phone does not work no reply to voice mails no updates on what's going on its a joke at this stage been told you put it trough last week by vanessa all lies you want start been honest now

I have been trying to contact them for over two weeks left voicemails sent emails no reply left a review on their website no reply balance of our holiday is due soon invoice says balance is due 10 weeks before departure when you try to pay for the balance it gives a different date not sure if the flights are operating not sure If our accommodation is open can't get any answers I understand that everyone is under extreme pressure and probably working with a skeleton staff but I feel I should have got something back from them at this stage
I was due to travel the 13th of April and was called in March because of the covid-19,restrictions to be told I'd get a refund, that they were just waiting on money back from Ryanair. I received a further call saying they were getting the money back from Ryanair. Its been a month and a half and I've still not received my refund. I've tried calling and no answer, I emailed and no answer, I understand they're under pressure but I had hoped I'd have my refund by now. I was hoping to rebook it for next year with budget travel as not all of this is their fault. I'm just hoping to hear back soon
I’m am so annoyed I can’t contact anyone as part of my travel itinerary has been cancelled but not all of it a flight from Dublin to London has been cancelled but my long haul hasn’t nobody has contacted me to let me know if I will be put on an earlier flight that is still going or if the whole journey will be cancelled and if so how I go about sorting it all phone lines are closed and nobody answering emails it’s a disgrace
I posted a review recently and received a dishonest response.
In short, only After I had paid for the package was I told that building works would be carried out at the hotel.
Budget also quoted the wrong sales person involved, so they did not even check the complaint.
