CASHPLUS ARE RUINING PEOPLES LIVES AND BUSINESSES!!!

CASHPLUS has completely RUINED my life and my business,I have absolutely nothing left and taking my life is an option for me right now. IN January Cashplus suspended my account for no reason whatsoever and asked me to provide invoices for the payments I received for an ongoing contract I was doing to which I did.After taking ages to come back to me I requested to have my account closed and my money refunded,they then asked for 2forms of identity and 2 proofs of address to which I sent them.They refused one of my forms of address and said I needed to send another one.I sent it all again and they lied that they never received it.I sent another one again two weeks ago and I’ve still not heard from them.The contract was affected due to lack of access to the funds and I had to borrow money to refund the customer.This has left me in serious debt,I have had no work since and also in arrears for my rent with the possibility of being kicked out.I cannot pay for my kids after school club or to even feed the family.My partner has since moved out and is back with her mum now and she has my kid with her.I have suffered so much depression and i am contemplating just ending it all.The police have been called to my house and have warned me that I could be sectioned due to my mental and physical health have both deteriorated ever since this ordeal began.How does a bank just hold on to my £6100 in my business account with no explanations whatsoever?completely RUINING my business and my life ?they have cost me absolutely everything!!!!I am putting this out here and any other review site and we will also be going public on Twitter and social media with the help of a few family members and a lot of friends including two celebrities who I reached out to,to create awareness about the dangers of banking with CASHPLUS!I am in a completely bad way and don’t know how long I can go on or survive for,they have ruined everything for me.

Dreadful customer service & general incompetence

Again CashPlus have been totally incompetent! We were simply trying to transfer a sterling amount from one UK bank into our CashPlus account. After we noticed it didn't enter the account we rang their customer service! They said it breached the total balance allowed in our account. However the bureaucracy to change this is exhausting. They are clearly not set up to deal with companies.

OVER £7000 FROZEN WITH NO ACCESS OR…

OVER £7000 FROZEN WITH NO ACCESS OR CONTACT.

Exactly the same as numerous other customers in the review section. Without any warning account was locked on Friday. We didn't realize until Saturday meaning all the transactions my business had done via BACS that day and Friday were returned to customers causing a great deal of confusion and a lot of angry customers. Cashplus assured me on Saturday that once I sent a invoice for a £49.99 transaction paid in back on the 4th of May that the account would be unrestricted within 48 hours and all monies put in the account during the lock would be added (unsure how when its been returned to the customer) I done this and still nothing not even a phone call.
It has now been nearly a week i've been told every day someone will be calling my and if i don't hear anything to call back at 6pm. When calling at 6pm i'm being told the department finish earlier who deal with this type of thing.
I have explained they have cost me a full week of trading and done unrepairable damage to my business reputation but they are not interested and keep fobbing me off with the same bull everyday.
If your thinking of banking with these for your business id tread very carefully indeed as they have the worst customer service I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. The toll this has taken on my mental health is unbelievable even bringing me to tears on the phone to be told off a snotty rep to calm down! Notice they will attempt to bury these reviews by inviting people daily to leave other ones. Note the generic response all bad reviews that are left receive.
All about protecting their own terrible reputation whilst tarnishing ours!

Cashplus inadequacy

No idea on what trust pilot have to do with cashplus? But no matter as I have already stated I am taking the case to the national ombudsman. I really dont care if it upsets pilot/lord lucan/elvis or anyone else absolutely disgusted with this company. Furious is an understatement. However for trust pilot I will explain the issue once again. 1 A little before xmas due to memory issues I forgot my pin number and after 3 attempts the card was blocked (my fault of course ) 2 you try getting o rectify the problem. New pin sent 3 times 3 times the pin number was still the same as previous lol? Ans if course didn't work? 3 you try phoning for help dear god please save me. 1 they had already been informed of the new e mail address . previous . 2 new number 07368695164/ previous number (07587377829) but according to the operator the present phone number was wrong? Lol security question number 4 My adress they had already been informed of my change of adress (due to security issues I'm not posting either new or old on here( any ways (according to the operator the current address was wrong? Which I find a bit strange as the new current address is where they send the replacement pins to? Lol 5 the clincher for me the operator asked for a balance check last check was £1.600.651.00.61 pence now roughly around £2000. Okay I may have been a few pence short of the exact amount? The operator asked me if I could be more specific? C,min I know I may have been a few pence short? But c,mon seriously according to the operator that security question was also wrong? Lol as I said I new I may have been a couple if pence short? But I not much as I said to the operator the only money going into the account was from my employer morrisons. Aside from a few pound Here and there but only money as of late was from my employer? So I know for a fact I would have only maybe a few pence short as for the most part my wages are the same every month. But any way that was also wrong according to the operator? God the only thing he didn't ask for was a D.N.A sample. he then got into a stop when I asked to speak to a manager/supervisor ( no as I had got all the security questions wrong and then hung up on me? Okay now a quick call to morrisons HQ would have confirmed I worked for them. Though obviously no more than that.as I said the only reason I had opened the cashplus account in the first place was to get my wages paid into them. As initially when I lived in Wales I banked with the principality. But unfortunately they dont have branches in England. So opened up a cashplus account. Never ever again will I be so stupid I just wish I had read your reviews first. I would have soon changed my mind about opening an account with you guys. But as I said you will be hearing from the national ombudsman soon so I will get my money back off you by hook or crook. And I am also pushing for compensation. Thanks to cashplus I am now coming up to 3 months behind with my rent and now looking at becoming homeless. I owe my g/f at least £400.50 pound having to borrow her credit card to feed and clothe myself. And £ 30.00 from her son whom I was able to borrow from firstly. My neighbour is the only one feeding the electric meter at the moment so I owe him currently £100.00 and counting. Any ways recently got a taxation letter upon request from H.M.R.C. just waiting now for another document from doctors or else where to prove who I am and my address is legitimate and I will be opening an account elsewhere to send my wages to. Never ever have I come across such a useless company. Cant believe I was so lax not to read the reviews on them first 🤨

Absolute Charlatans!!

Absolute Charlatans!!
I have had nothing but trouble with Cashplus. They are rip off merchants!
They are supposed to be a bank now. So why are they taking money from me to load my account????
I have noticed two payments of £2.00 going from my account this month (February 2021) for loading .
I have messaged them twice via the app, saying I want the account closed.
They are ignoring me.
Does anyone know the procedure to close a personal account with them, as I want them gone from my life.

This so called place as now become a bank and I’ve been with them over a year and they’ve offered my nothing but quick enough to take £5.95 from you a month.

Good luck becoming a bank

My business account was closed. Without any notification or reason why. I found out by trying to log into my account finding i meed to reset password. Which I successfully did then being asked to contact them because I couldn't login with new password. When I called in I then found out account closed. Operator wasn't empathic when I said I hadn't received letter which they claim was sent two weeks previous. Still not received a letter its now been 5 weeks since. Hmmm

I tried to log into my cashplus online…

I tried to log into my cashplus online ac and was unable to it said contact customer services which i did . The advisor told me she is not sure why i could not log in or withdraw cash and someone would call me. I explained to her i needed to top up my gas . And she seemed not bothered abt it . I asked if she knew when cashplus would call me and let me know the reason why i could not access my money. I have no gas or hot water in the house. I have just recovered from Covid. I dont really know what else i can do . Temperatures are low i am cold and my money is stuck in my account with cashplus

14 days and still no access - Joke

14 days and still no access to my account with no explanation.
All they are saying is I have to wait for a phone call.
This is my second review and the first one has just got ignored.
So 14days and no access to funds, please explain how I am supposed to start back up a business after Covid 19 ?????

I recently set up a small business and…

I recently set up a small business and my inability to obtain a business bank account was causing me tremendous stress and pressure. I was unable to move the business forward and was let now by a number of ‘prominent’ providers. Cashplus was my saviour and I couldn’t be happier! My experiences so far have been superb! Just got off the phone from a wonderful young man who happily spent 20 minutes with me while I navigated through their online system. As a technophobe I generally need a ‘little’ more attention. No frustration, clear, concise ,friendly and knowledgeable - thank you!!!

Bad, ignore customers …

I've requested bank statements for my accountant since May, still NO RESPONSE. It is a legal requirement for me to have them and they are IGNORING ME!! And this is happening because through a fault on their app it wouldn't download those statements.
GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER AND SEND ME MY STATEMENTS. They dont do faster payments so dont pay you staff near the weekend as staff eont get it till the following week and bacs payments are £1 EACH. I'm with tide now cos of them and get faster payments and only 20p per bacs payment.
