Service is no better than you can get from DVLA. They will also take money out of your account for a subscription that you didn't agree to nor did they make clear.
Do not use this service. You can get this information for free. They will take money from your account because of a subscription which is not made clear.
This came as a top search result on Google when searching car vertical. They even have car vertical in their text. I should have read the URL properly. They have refused to refund me. This company's service was not even worth 1 pence. AVOID!

I have changed my review to 2 stars from a NEGATIVE 1 because after emailing the email supplied, I have since had my subscription cancelled and refund of 2 months payments returned. Should their practices change in the manner of how they make the cancellation procedure transparent and clear, my opinion may change again. Appreciate the refund, but you have an AWFUL lot of wrongs to still put right.
Can't give it negative stars unfortunately. So you sign up via the offer, and make it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel. The password I used to check a car in the first case, and the one I use to log in, and change my password is suddenly NOT the one to cancel? Why? So I have paid £120 despite asking to cancel, just wish I had checked the reviews first! Crooks...that's all....petty thieves. Almost forgot, do not respond when you send a message via their own portal either.

Same as others here. Paid for car check one off payment. The 2 days later the tried taking £39 against the same card. Bank stopped it. But need New card now.
Clearly a bunch of thieving scammers.

Ive used HPI checks in the past and never been caught out like this. THIS IS CLEARLY A SCAM whatever way they butter it up. I will try the number provided and I will notify my bank.

SCAM - FRAUD! Just like everyone else has said spent £6 for a report then 48hours later I'm signed up for a subscription service and a charge of £39.90 taken out. Phoned them saying i did not consent to this, nor was i made aware at any point that I was signing up to a subscription. Deceptive methods of getting your money. You have 48 hours to cancel the subscription which they claim is "clearly stated in T&C". Well its not "clearly" stated, you would have to really look for it, the whole process is made to look like youre not signing up for a subscription. I sent them an email with a cancellation request on the same day I "signed up", they replied a week later just to make sure im past the 48hr mark.
Do not use this company!!
Edit. Im pretty sure their email system is either fully automated or AI.
