Cut and past Journalism no facts…

Cut and past Journalism no facts missleading headlines especially on the sports section.
used to be great read and accurate when John Gibson was the sports editor now just a guessing game and producing sensational made up headlines with no substance .
The quickest way to lose readers and advertisers as I have stopped advertising with this paper and company

What’s going on with our local paper

What’s going on with our local paper, I used to get this paper everyday bar Sunday then it was the Sunday sun however I now use the online version or did until today.
I was clicking through when I saw the line Mbeumo signs I clicked on the chronicle link and unfortunately not to my surprise nothing about a new signing just click bait again, over recent weeks I’ve noticed this more and more.
Our once loved local paper using misleading lines, I get that they need people to click and read their articles to be paid but this type of trash was reserved for the news of the world why have they gone this route possibly as they’re owned by a London based company and money and Southern bias has taken over, bring back the likes of John Gibson or Alan Oliver proper Journalists sad to say won’t be going back until these tactics change.

Only gave 1 star because I can't give them -100

Website articles are absolutely unreadable. The way they are laid out with about 2000 ads littered across them and pop ups flying at you every 0.2 of a second it's the most unenjoyable experience imaginable trying to catch up on something you're actually interested in.

Surely you can do better than this Chronicle and put the user experience a little higher on your priority list.

Abject online experience

Abject online experience, either web or app. Looks like a high school project from 1994. Cannot believe how unpleasant it makes the content.
If it's this or a paywall, they made the wrong call.
As an expat this is my only way to get local 'home' content. I've given up. As have the devs apparently.

Possibly the most unusable website there is

Almost impossible to use on phone. Constantly freezes, constantly reloads. Often half of the story doesn’t load. This can’t be a connection issue I have 900mb broadband and no issues with other websites. I think the overloading of adverts has just made it unusable.

Appalling

The worst website and app I have ever attempted to use. In fact unusable. Tons of ads and click bait. The clue is in the title.

Undoubtedly one of the worst websites in the UK. So many adverts, pop ups, random videos that start. The page can’t stay still is constantly updating with random adverts. Really poor. I know traditional newspapers have been destroyed by the internet but they must be desperate for revenue to allow this many ads on their site. Literally unusable in every way.

Horrible, news place

Useless, fabricated lies made up by this newspaper company I wouldn't trust anything they say, they will make up many lies just to try and put some sort of "fake" story together, for what, publicity? pathetic, get a real job, morons.

Chronicle live website is a complete…

Chronicle live website is a complete shambles. It's pathetic.
You can barely navigate the site without it moving uncontrollably and making you click on the wrong links. Finding information on it is a real chore and the amount of ads on it and clickbait is a right joke. I don't even bother using it now as it's so frustrating to use it drives you mad. Someone do something about it...or don't because I doubt anyone can be bothered enough to continue using it and care about an end result.

Impressed

Travelling into Reading this morning along the Basingstoke Road. Reports last night of a water main burst meant that I wanted to check on any delays.

Very impressed with the Chronicle’s reporting of likely delays, but was gob smacked at how many sets of temporary traffic lights there are in the area. Does anyone do a job quickly these days? The chaos that is caused and which could be avoided by proper management, rather than the laziness of these bureaucratic civil servants.
