Additional Import Duties
The only issue I have is that the web site I purchased the trolley did not; as far as I am aware, make it clear the trolley would be sent from Germany and subject to import duties of £46.00. This is a sizeable additional cost to the advertised price.

Items never delivered (over 6 weeks since order), no refund and no response any of my queries regarding the delivery status.

Is non-existent. Compass24 are cheating customers by Not refunding the customs charges.
I waited 3 weeks for my order to arrive. I sent several e mails chasing up my order. They ignored all my e mails. There is no contact number or address, so I could not contact them. I had to drive to a different town to collect my order from Parcel force. I had to pay £116 customs charges!. I sent several e mails trying to get a refund. Again, no response from Compass24. They just ignore you. It has been a very stressful experience for me.
It is very frustrating dealing with these people. They are based in Ashcheberg, Germany. I wrote a letter of complaint to the Police in Asheberg and asked them to investigate. Other customers have been waiting weeks for their refunds. I am going to investigate this company with the help of a German Solicitor. I think they are scammers!
I am writing to the German Ambassador in London asking if he will speak with the directors.
To date, I have received no apology, nothing. Warning, do not deal with them.

I ordered two Harken winches, paid £300+ with order. Before Parcelforce would deliver them I had to pay an additional £115. This was made up of VAT, import duty and delivery charge. Their web site states that price I paid (£300) included vat and delivery charge. I have tried to contact Compass about this issue but had no reply. I have now been offered a credit which may appear "in the next few days". Watch this space. I can now confirm that Compass have now refunded the £115 that I had to pay to Parcel Force to receive the goods. Full marks to Compass.

I ordered a magma sup holder about 2 weeks ago. Having not received it and after our holiday I looked through my post to find a customs charge of £66 to deliver my goods. Had this charge been visible upon ordering I would not have gone through with it. Transparency will allow customers the choice… Not impressed!!!!

After reading the bad reviews, I was dubious about ordering from here. They were three only site that had what I wanted so risked it, communication was good, delivery was good and product good.
Absolutely utter crap
Absolutely utter crap! Company is based in Germany communication is non existent, if you live in the UK you run the risk of having to pay vat and import charges little to suggest that you are buying from overseas until you pay your money. My advice is steer clear.

They Said that i e Mail the wrong adress but i have all the evidense that i have send it too the correct adress. Many many and many more message.
They even Said now that the package was deliverd too dhl and i will recive the shipping number but no nothing from them. So once more bull….. I have now contacted the swedish police with all the e mail and the payment info. And will post all of this in social media and where ever i can.
They Will probly say that it has been shipped but nothing is shipt without a Shipping number.
This is the worst experiens i have ever had from a company.

Poor customer service and communication
I ordered a pair of binoculars and a water buoyant strap on the 4 April 2023 which I believed would be ample time to receive them before my sailing holiday on the 14 April 2023. My order was confirmed the same day and yet on the 12 April I hadn't received any dispatch confirmation at all. I sent an email to the Customer Services dept and was told they'd be dispatched tomorrow (being 13 April) which of course means they will not arrive in time for my holiday. When I enquired as to why there was such a delay with dispatch, I was told "one part was missing". I consider this a very poor excuse and a lack of communication, I should have been advised at the point of ordering that an item was out of stock and I would have then ordered from an alternative supplier. I would not recommend this supplier and will not be using them again.

The return process has failed.
The return process has failed.
I tried to return sailing trousers but they ended up going to a collection point. Compass24 will not collect and refund. The trousers cost £250 plus £16.50 to return. I don’t know what the outcome of this will be.
They have not advised on what to do next. Trading standards have assisted me with some steps to take whilst they review the company.

It is a multi part item (3m long) but it came
rubbed in bubble foil full of shears and holes. In shipping list it was stated that there should be at least two packages, but only one came.
After my complain Compass24 claimed the order came complete but pointed out that there are no instuction manual, any ropes or CE marking (it is a crane capable of holding 120kg mast nearly 6 metre above ground(!!!)) they stopped answering my messages.
No customer service, no support - nothing.

Arrived safely, but poorly labelled.

The chairs are fine, lightweight and aluminium for use on a boat. In the month since receiving them I have not received any extra bills for tax, customs etc. However the box was very poorly labelled, and I wonder if this is at the root of many of the delivery problems people have experienced. It only reached me via the tracking number as the actual address label had fallen off. Maybe if Compass 24 fixed this problem they would get better reviews.
