The Crusty pie company MAJOR FAIL! Rip Off

Had the (very) sad misfortune to visit their stall at the south of England show 5 June 2026.
I bought 2 ‘Pasty’s.
They were absolutely disgusting. Pastry like dough, the filling (for folks in the south west it’s cringe time) consisted of carrots, peas sweetcorn and probably a half teaspoon of meat. All this for £9.00 each. Yes £9.00 how do these people sleep at night?

We went to the BASC Game Fair at Ragley…

We went to the BASC Game Fair at Ragley Hall estate and needed a snack. We went to the 'food area' and saw the pasties on the Crusty Pie Company counter. Although £6.50 each, we like a nice pastie, so decided on buying two. Whilst we know that there are probably high overheads to have a stand at the show the price was way too much for the taste and content experience. The pastry was almost under cooked and tasteless and the content, somewhere in the base of the opening was scant and bland. Would NOT recommend buying one and it was in contrast to the sausage rolls purchased from a neighbouring stall, no name on the bag so can't remember his company name but his sausage rolls were absolutely outstanding, not too much pastry but what there was, was extremely tasty and the fillings were absolutely outstanding.
