Spent £700 on a new dryer and a new washer.
Washer 1 week old and doesn’t empty the water after a wash.
Dryer well that needs a sledge hammer this has an issue that needs more the brains.
Once it’s on a setting spins and stops after 1 minute/ starts when it wants doesn’t seem to have any go in it.
What did currys say ??
Absolutely naff all if it breaks down call your repair company??
It’s on currys repair scheme.

So after 2 weeks off issues and with a broken front I’ve had only a couple of replies from currys and that’s it.
Today if they don’t reply back I am going to the financial ombudsman to step in.
Am not being ripped off for faulty appliances and £700.
This needs sorting and fast.
You have 11 hrs from now

I placed an order for a TV to be delivered and installed onto a bracket. I told the sales person that the old TV was on a bracket and the new TV would be a direct replacement. The delivery men arrived and said that that they were not insured to install the TV on the bracket plus the new TV was in a wet box. The delivery man said that they had told people about the wagon leaking so the bosses were not bothered about a leaking wagon that was carrying electrical goods.
We went to the Blackburn store and asked for a manager, the person that came was not interested and tried to palm us off to the returns person. We queued at the counter for about 15 minutes. We were asked what the problem was and basically we were asked do we want a refund. With the attitude of the staff we decided on the refund for just short of £1500. The staff were not interested and off we went.
Obviously customer care is not important to the staff at the Blackburn branch.

I placed an order for a combination…

I placed an order for a combination microwave. After reading several poor reviews (not those on Currys website) I decided to purchase another item instead. It was the following day to that when I had placed the order and I had not yet collected it.
Contacting Currys Webchat proved impossible, until I discovered that you could do so through the Opera browser. Neither Edge nor Chrome worked. I spoke to a sales lady who said she would have to put me through to the 'Online Sales Team', then promptly dropped the call and that was that!
She did tell me, before dropping my call, that I would have to collect the item first, then return it. Yes... that was what I was told... weird eh?
Would I buy from Currys now? Not now... not ever again. I have low expectations of most businesses these days, but this one proved extra-specially incompetent.

Awful awful customer service

Awful awful customer service. The phone line transfers you to overseas where they are incredibly rude. An item I ordered was sent damaged and it’s been nothing but hassle to get a new one.

Very disappointed

I went into the store in Stockport to purchase a CD player. Bit old school I know but there was one on display that fitted the bill. I couldn't see any on the shelf so I approached an assistant to be told that it wasn't available to purchase. Just for display, he directed me buy on line. I don't want to buy on line that's why I was in the store!!!!!!!!!

Terrible service

Quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Ordered a fridge freezer online for my parents. It was installed however faulty. Currys could not send anyone to repair it quickly and was told it would take ten days so went for a replacement one. Again this would take ten days to be delivered. Managed to negotiate an earlier date however the incorrect team were sent and couldn't remove the faulty fridge or install the new one. Another delivery date arranged for today however received a text advising it won't be delivered as planned and will take another 7days. I called to get a refund and had to argue for this. This will take a further five days to sort. Also now stuck with a faulty fridge freezer that is apparently getting collected in a week. For over a week I have made many calls and not got anywhere. Customer services teams are terrible. They promise call backs that don't happen and no one seems to care or want to sort anything out. Also I was cut off many times during calls.

This has been one of the worst experiences buying something online. I seriously would avoid Curry's. Not sure what we will do if the refund is not processed!

They refuse to read docs about not delivered items and don't pay you back!

Again! We didn't receive the stove we paid for ( as the technician from Currys realized it fell in pieces once they opened it and there is a doc about it that we both signed, so the stove was taken back leaving us with the old one) but they don't ev n READ the documents and keep insisting they delivered us a stove that we have when we don't ! We are a guest house and we can't even cook.
These people are machines, not living people, zombies. No empathy no professional and clearly can't read their own docs.
They stole us 864 since 1 month.
Sadly we are in good company and all the TV and newspapers will be informed about what Currys us doing as it seems a habit they have

I know that currys is a reputed company…

I know that currys is a reputed company and I have many good experiences with them. Last week I have ordered fridge freezer, paid online with gift card and booked a delivery slot and changed my shift and was waiting for it. They have cancelled the order on December 3rd and even not informed me via phone or email. They haven’t refunded at least to my gift card back.
When I contacted currys for the delivery conformation they have told me that the order has been cancelled.
I ordered the item on offer and the offer will end soon and they have missed my chance.
Someone working in this company is absolutely careless and negligent to their customer.

I’d give no stars if I could

I’d give no stars if I could. Appalling customer service trying to get a refund for a lost PlayStation 5 in the Clough road, hull store. Manager now lying that it was lost in transit when I was showed photo evidence it was on a pallet in their back yard ( possible inside theft they are trying to cover up)
Will never shop in currys again and would urge everyone to stay away.

No support or consideration for any vulnerable customers

I called curry’s on 3rd December and I was put through directly to hoover from curry’s (I have only subsequently found out this information in the past few days.) I was told that I had no cover as it was out of warranty and I had two options; 1. Pay a large amount upfront to book an engineer to come and look but I would then have to also pay for his labour and parts or 2. Sign up to an insurance policy at a cost of £18.99 a month for 12 months. I went with the insurance monthly, an engineer came and advised it was the PCB board, LED display board and circuit board that needed to be replaced, he checked if they had the parts on the van or in the Bolton warehouse which he didn’t and I was advised they would need to get these shipped from Italy.

I was informed that the last person he had to do this for was 2 months ago and they had only just been booked back in on 3rd December. I rang up curry’s who told me that I didn’t have any engineers booked to see me and got passed to hoover, hoover said that I had to call domestic and general. After speaking with domestic and general i was advised that my insurance is not valid due to the fridge freezer already being broken when i took out the policy (hoover sold it to me fully aware of it being broken) i was then advised that they would be looking at seeking to recover the cost of the call out fee for the engineer, the cost of his labour and the cost of parts that have been ordered.

I'm very distresses by all this, I've been wrongly sold a policy and claimed on it straight away illegally as I've been told. I have now been with no fridge or freezer for a week, i am disabled and have numerous health issues including diabetes and require insulin to be stored in the fridge along with other steroid tablets that must be refrigerated which i have now lost as they have got too warm affecting how they work, deeming them perished. I also have 3 young children and I'm unable to store anything like sandwich meats or yoghurts or milk or fresh meat and vegetables. One child has a skin condition and she requires steroid creams and bandages to be kept refrigerated too for them to have the best effect on her skin and due to this breakdown of the fridge freezer she is now suffering with her skin. This is having a huge impact on my mental health and physical health.

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 makes it an implied term of the contract I have with Currys that goods be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. Paying £500 for a fridge freezer you would expect it to last at least ten years and this is only just over 18 months old and due to this the fridge freezer is not of satisfactory quality and breaches the consumer rights act 2015.

As you are in breach of contract and I've owned the product between 6 months and 6 years, I am within my statutory rights to ask for it to be replaced.

I also strongly believe that I am entitled to compensation for distress and suffering caused by the cover being miss sold, to be told they are looking to cancel down the contract because you can't get the parts among everything else mentioned above. This is not only affecting my own mental health due to the stress of it all and spending hours on the phone for days. My physical health due to unrefrigerated insulin but it is also impacting the health of my child with the skin issues leaving her very uncomfortable and resulting in lack of sleep for her and due to her being so sore it's also affecting her mood and schooling.

I purchased two items online 10 days ago, i forgot to place a number 1 in my email, so didn’t receive the receipts. Have called customer services now 5 times with updated email and another email in case and still no receipt. Their customer service line is appalling it’s obviously outsourced overseas, the lines are bad, with what sounds like people laughing and partying in back ground. I called and made a complaint and they said I will hear from them and I haven’t. Worse customer service ever. Every time they say you will receive it within 24 hours and nothing happens.

£4.75 for one A4 page of coloured printing

I spent £36.99 on a tri colour and black cartridge for my 304 printer at Currys today. So each ink cost £18.50. I printed 4 A4 pages of coloured print outs where 75% of the page was light coloured (no navy blue or dark red etc). My printer is now telling me that I have no coloured ink left. Thats £4.75 per page. Move over Robin Hood. HP AND Curry’s do a better job n give to the rich instead.
