My Deporvillage customer experience review

Waited 2x weeks for my purchases and only was able to "unlock" it after making some phone calls...

Impeccable! Delivery fast and correct, no complications with anything, that's how you can make your customers happy!

Only, although the website I used was deporvillage.pt and the descriptions in Portuguese, it turned out that I was actually dealing with deporvillage in Spain. No problem about this in general, but in Portugal delivery is often within 24 hours and many Portuguese Companies offer this service for free.

Ugh.

Ugh.. only buy if you are SURE you will not have to return the item.. Otherwise you will have to pay the return shipping to SPAIN and lose the shipping costs from delivery. Total waste of time and resources.... So frustrated. That is precisely why Jeff Bezos is where he is... Am***n took such hassles away so better to spend the extra 15ish bucks and buy from there.

In general terms the site is ok

In general terms the site is ok. The only downside is that you have to pay shipping costs on orders and for returns. They don't do exchanges. I had to return a product because I got the size wrong, but I asked and they gave a promo code for the new buy.

Customer service is great. Thanks Estefânia Mendez, your were nice and very professional, I hope your boss see this review.

No exchange option

The poor review reflects mostly their exchange policy. As an online store you would think they would make such think easy since you don't try any product on before purchasing! You can send an item back (as you should) but there is no exchange option, you have to file for the return of the item and ship the item back at your choice and expense, and then order a new item (with the right number/colour). This is a completely new order, you will pay whatever price the item is now. If you took advantage of some promotion on the first purchase, it is gone. You also have to have an extra expense before you get the return. For the shipping, you get to pick whichever service you prefer but of course to meet their requirements (tracked, delivery receipt) it is much more expensive that the price they pay as a company for the same service. With most online stores I have dealt with, the return shipping is made through the online store, which can be free or they will deduct it (usually the same price as sending the package) from the return. This is probably the worst online store I purchased from and I have purchased from a lot of online stores. I had to re-order from them because they were the only ones that had the snickers of the model and color my teenager cousin wanted, will not purchase if I can get it anywhere else.

We are constantly working on improving the shipping arrangements at the multiple countries we ship to, and try and find the best options for the customers. Our exchange policy is the more convenient for every part, as if we were to make the changes in the warehouse when an item is returned it will get way more delayed to receive it. We suggest the customer to place a new order simply because you will get the item sooner. As of the tracking and delivery receipts of the returns, we recommend that because if anything happens to the shipment on its way to us, the courier can take the responsability for it.
Also, it is important for the customer to know that we do mantain the original price paid at the moment of the purchase, so if you had any discount code or promotion you should contact us and we will place an inmediate refund that equals the first payment. BAD CONDUCT

I bought a pair of shoes in 19 Nov 2018. Of course the item was available.
Estimated deliver 3 Dec 2018 (two weeks later).
In 3 Dec 2018 I changed usual work place to receive the item... nothing happened. At the end of the day (20:48) I received an email to inform me that the item don't leave the Deporvillage because office problems.
I asked Deporvillage when it will be next sending date.
The answer was that the item is not available. I can cancel the order or changing for another product.
Deporvillage is keeping my money since 19 Nov 2018. What kind of work is this???

BUYERS BEWARE.......Selling as an…

BUYERS BEWARE.......Selling as an english website from Spain, nowhere did it tell us when we were ordering that we would have to return to spain using our own postage method with tracking. Website very difficult to use and they just disconnected our call after we held for 10 minutes, calls to Spain only. The telephone transfer options was a scottish person talking????
