Easy check-in/check-out. Everything as described and in fair condition. Especially good for location and price.

Stylish apartment at a very good location in Potsdam next to the park and near the central square. Berlin is only 25 minutes away by train.
The old pension is very charming and mostly quiet. Very good service: when we had a complaint it was fixed two hours later! A bit more cooking gear would be nice. We had a very pleasant time in Potsdam and Berlin. We can recommend the apartment (the old dining room of the pension).

Great location. Close to all the action, but very quiet. The bed and linens were very comfortable. We were there while Germany was playing in the Euro Cup. Neighbors to apartment complex had a party (Germany won) and were having a good time. Could hear them while outside, but once we were in our unit, could not hear anything. Would defintely stay there again.

I stayed in 2 properties with Design Apartments Potsdam for business from early March to end of May in Geschwister-Scholl Strasse and Hermann Elfing Strasse. The first impression: it is a stylish flat. But soon you realize it is superficial decor over quality and service. Behind the cooker there was no tiles, just paint. As there was no cupboards or build in space 2 hoovers were kept in the corners of my living room. The cleaners come very erratically and I had to complain they do not wash the floors and removed fat spiderwebs in corners. They did remove bagged bottles from the kitchen however, for which I had paid deposits in the shop opposite. Twice there was no heating and hot water for a couple of days. Eventually I had to vacate the first flat because of a child running above from 6 am at times waking me up! The second top floor flat had a balcony next to the bedroom window where neighbors would talk until the early hours. The sofa base had no cover, just foam. I enquired if it was at the cleaners, but no. Window black out insufficient. In both flats the fridge did not cool even on the highest setting. Anything positive? The beds were comfortable. For people staying a day or so this might be OK accommodation.

Fantastic location. Easy to collect keys - 5 mins walk from apartment. Stylish apartment and comfortable beds. Very squeaky floorboards.

This place is hugely overpriced for its zero comfort and service.
No lift, no cleaning, no closet in bedside, too short an thin curtain which deprived our sleep, high steps to enter a bathroom, no parking and incompetent receptionist who failed to describe correctly a nearby parking ist.
Just a disaster place and Booking.com should be ashamed to offer this property. We want our money back!

Charming Apartment but....
Also, in a very nice location. Unfortunately, the Apartment is poorly equipped: no microwave, no plates, no spoons, not even any glasses. Just a waterboiler and 2 Coffee muss.

The experience was not so good. The windows does not have curtains, so at 5am we woke up with the sun.
On Saturday was a hot day, so the room was super ultra hot, so not possible to not sleep without all windows opened (really opened), so very noisy.
I was expecting (considering the price), at least curtains in the room.
The size was really good.

Called several times, received promise of technician
Nobody turned up
Far too expensive for what you get
Service is less than acceptable and the facilities you would expect for this price are non existent or do not work

The check-in and key pick-up was easy and friendly but it takes place at a different address than where we were staying. The flat was indeed fully functional and designer made. However, only one window could open as the other ones were still being built. Right next to the windoes there was scaffolding and construction site as if the balconies are being built. That was strange and not mentioned anywhere prior to the booking. But as we were staying only one night, it did not matter too much.

Excellent location, nice neighbourhood and the apartment is fine. Parking in the street is possible if you come early, while parking in the back court is only for small cars due to a very narrow passage way. Service is very friendly and helpful.

On the plus side, good location, well equipped with crockery, utensils, white goods, etc. Friendly and helpful staff at the key pickup. Not too noisy given it is on a main road and above a kebab shop. Would be perfect for a single traveller or a couple.
On the down side, the second bedroom is just a winter garden, floor to ceiling windows with curtains that stop 18 inches above the ground. On the other wall is a frosted-glass window that overlooks the hallway, so any time anyone comes in day or night, the bright hallway light goes on. Not conducive to good sleep. The bed in the winter garden is a foam mattress on some palettes, but was actually quite comfortable!
So, although it's advertised as a two-bed, if you are two single travellers, as we were, one of you is going to get the short straw.

Very charming place, and well situated for sightseeing destinations. Only drawback: there is no lift.

Our Apartment in Potsdam was wonderful. It was spacious and full of light. The high ceilings were beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked and the location of the apartment couldn't have been better. We would love to come back again sometime!

If I could give 6 stars I would! fantastic welcome, friendly staff - and the apartment is gorgeous. Spacious for a nice couple of days off a stone throw away from a beautiful park and a small walk from the historic city center. Kamine in the livingroom/kitchen is a nice touch

Positive: Perfect location in heart of Dutch corner. Restaurants, bars and shops in neighborhood. Nice apartment, comfortable beds, good space. Included kitchen appliances (could not find coffee maker). Couple of cooking pots, cutlery. Nice and many towels, soap, bed sheets. Rooms rather clean, however I found dirty bed sheet lying in the room.
Negative: Construction works around wakes up every morning at 07.00, no chance to sleep longer. Apartment floor extremely noisy when walking. Interesting solution in bathroom - no window curtain for the top windows, so construction workers on the scaffolding have nice view into the bathroom.

We liked the stay - would have prefered to have knowed about the different stairs in the apartment.
And the so called king size bed is max. a 1,5 person bed. The madress is ok in size - but the top-madress is much smaller which is crazy and makes the bed very small.

We loved our stay in this apartment. It was spacious, well appointed and clean. It was in a great location, close to shops, transport and markets.
