Household restrictions incorrectly restrict my access
Have now brought in the same thing as netflix with the household restriction. However, it's my brother's account and every time he goes away with work it stops me from accessing it, without an email that I don't have access to. Useless. Even after confirming multiple times before, it still kicks me out. Just going to pirate from now on since you can't just access the content you pay for
Horrible quality on PC
If Disney is not willing to offer high quality video on desktop/laptop PCs, this should be front and center when purchasing a subscription.
I don't understand how it is even legal to tell someone they are paying for 4K and only giving 720p.
Very poor software
Tho we have superfast fibre all the way to the house ,Disney spends its time buffeting. No other streaming service does this ,and we must have subscribed to about 99%.
New content is rare , my patience is running out ,the worst thing is the adverts ,there seems to be issues when they come on ,often again buffering to an unacceptable level then glitching . Seriously if they think Im paying more to get rid ,they gotta improve the rest of it.
BUGGY Ads
Formost complaint: If you don't pay for "without ads" bundle, the ads are disruptive. There are a lot of ads and they are quite long. My biggest issue, though, is that the ads will freeze the whole thing and require that I back out of the show/movie. Once I back out, it will restart the WHOLE show from the last ad checkpoint before the one that froze the show. So be paying attention, you will have to find your spot again AND watch that same ad again because you "fast forward."
The content is not updated very often or fast, but that isn't a huge problem for us. We don't watch a lot of tv and that pacing is fine for us. There's a lot we like and I am partial to Nat Geo and Star Wars.
Out of all the streaming services, especially paired with hulu/MAX, it has a lot more to offer. It is also the most organized and user friendly.
The buggy ads happen frequently. It makes me consider dropping the service.

The app constantly crashes
The app makes enjoying programmes impossible. Loading forever, stalls when streaming. Fed up
Disneyplus waste of time
I signed up for Disney+ and you won’t believe the amount of trouble I had over one hour spent trying to find a program I wanted suspect which is a new release. They kept saying to me Disney I had to edit parental controls. They sent me information on this I did everything they sent me And could not. Turn off parental controls basically they put you from one person to the other telling you to go here and there eventually you get to a live chat Person although I don’t even know if it was a live chat person I think it’s computer generated. I was that frustrated after one hour being messed about that I asked for a refund which took another 20 minutes. I haven’t even watched anything on Disney I would tell people not to bother with this company. Completely ridiculous being messed around very quickly in talking your money but useless trying to navigate the website
where's any new content?
So i only pay the £5 a month option but after 6 months or so even I'm now starting to think about cancelling.
I'll be honest the lack of any new content on Disney+ is so so shocking. the only thing that seems to come out is junk tv shows.
Disney has the worlds largest content for tv and film and yet nothing ever changes in 6 months i've only noticed 2 new films and thats basically it. if there's not a new BIG refresh or add of movies added asap then i think i'm done with it to be honest.

Constantly asked to scan and log in. Wasted 2 hours. Couldn’t find anything I was hoping to watch. Then asked me to scan and log in again! Cancelled subscription
Standard plus basic equals premium??? How odd
Just got my annual subscription taken out of bank and the breakdown was disney+ basic-£49.90, disney+ without ads -£40 and disney+standard-£40. Apparently basic+standard+no ads =premium...sounds like a rip-off to me! Was on their chat last night trying to get them to explain the breakdown to me, they did try but bless them they didn't understand what I was asking (4 times) then I just mysteriously got disconnected from the chat 🤷♀️
So my question still remains ...how can disney+ standard and disney+basic,( which sound like exactly the same thing) equal a premium subscription????

I experienced a TV login issue that meant I couldn't access the service for several months. Because of this I was unsure if I had an active subscription or not.
Fortunately I was able to speak with online Customer Service advisor, Maria Naomi J who dealt with my issue courteously and to the highest standard possible.
I cannot praise Maria enough for thoroughly investigating my case and swiftly resolving the matter to my complete satisfaction and gratitude.
Thank you Maria and thank you Disney Plus for an excellent service all round.
You made me feel like a highly valued customer and I appreciate and applaud you both for that.
5star rating I’m just mad <3
I love love love Disney plus it has all the right shows but I am here now mourning because of the series 9-1-1 where Bobby has died and I am not happy no one talk to me.
DisneyPlus UK keep blocking my IP…
DisneyPlus UK keep blocking my IP address, I cannot even get the UK homepage to contact support. If I reset the router, it will then work for about 4 days and then I get banned again. I am with BT Broadband Fibre in the UK. If I turn ON a VPN on my PC, I can then see the homepage and log in. Turn it off again and it's 'Sorry, an unexpected error has occurred.
Please try again later.' I also run Crypto miners, so can't keep resetting the router every 5 minutes. I will just have to use the "HDO Box" app to watch instead.
I wanted to get a Disney+ subscription…
I wanted to get a Disney+ subscription and it was the most frustrating two hours! No matter how I did it I either didn’t get the passcodes or it kept throwing me onto the US subscription site where it will not accept a British postcode! Surely there must be a better way but I’ve absolutely lost interest - a waste of an evening!
