Worked as advertized

Worked as advertized . The counter kept increasing and it made 6667 calls to EDD for my FMLA claim at which point the screen changed to
Callback Queue Verified. Please wait for a direct call from PFL's 844 number.
(Attempts: 6667)
After another 30 minutes , I got a call and got my claim was processed and I got paid
Totally worth the 10 dollars

Good Service, Bad Business Practices

Response to EddCallers reply of "please do not create other accounts and try to use our service. We will cancel the account and not provide a refund according to our terms of service"

My Reply:
And actually changing my fair 2.5 stars to 1 star. With their attitude, I'd give it zero if I could.

Wow, this response perfectly illustrates the issue I mentioned in my original review. Instead of addressing the actual problem (a double charge and complete lack of customer support), you immediately jump to accusing me of creating other accounts and hiding behind your terms of service.

For clarity: I never attempted to “create other accounts.” I only tried to determine if your system had blocked my number, which it clearly has, by testing it on a second device and a different phone number. That’s called troubleshooting, something your nonexistent support team should have done before permanently restricting access to a paying customer.

It’s disappointing, but not surprising, that rather than resolving a billing error and restoring service, your company chooses to deflect, threaten, and silence customers who raise legitimate concerns. A real business stands behind its product, communicates with its users, and resolves billing disputes transparently.

Your response says everything potential customers need to know. The service works when it works but if something goes wrong, you’re completely on your own.

Original review:
I’ve used EDD Caller about 2–3 times, and when it works, it works really well. If I were just rating the effectiveness of the system itself, I’d give it a 5 out of 5.

Unfortunately, my last experience was very disappointing. About two months ago, I noticed I had been double charged for a single call. I reached out to the company via email for clarification. They claimed I had made another payment after hours which initiated a second call, but that was not correct. They told me they would refund me, but also stated the charge had already been disputed—which I did not do with my bank. I had contacted them directly first to resolve the issue. After this, they apparently closed out my account, and I’m now unable to use their services at all.

To confirm, I tested the system with my spouse’s phone number, which worked fine. However, when I use my phone number—whether on my own device or another device—it does not work. The same device that fails with my number works without issue with my spouse’s number.

It’s unfortunate, because until my issue with EDD is resolved, I was relying on this service once a month. The service itself is effective, but the lack of customer support and being blocked for simply requesting a refund on an incorrect charge is unacceptable. I’ve reached out multiple times through their chat system as well as via email, but I do not receive any response whatsoever.

For that reason, I have to average out my experience and give this service 2.5 stars.

Virtually Impossible to Reach — Deeply Flawed Phone Support System

I’ve never experienced anything like this. It took me over 2,400 call attempts and 40+ minutes just to reach the initial CA PFL waiting line — only for the call to abruptly disconnect. Whether it was a system issue or something else, it was incredibly frustrating.

After that, I was seemingly deprioritized, and despite making over 5,600 additional call attempts and waiting another 3+ hours, I was never able to get through again.

When you can get through, the service may be helpful — but the phone system is technically broken. It makes connecting manually nearly impossible and leaves people stuck in endless redialing loops with no recourse.

Hi, please email contact@eddcaller.com to get a refund. We will consider removing the attempts amount to cause less stress for our users. Our system uses a stable system to make calls, not like EDD which is why your call dropped. We cannot fix PFL when they call you directly.

Best thing in the world

Best thing in the world! I could not get through to Paid Family Leave, and my claim was stuck. I read about this service on Reddit - and decided to take a chance. This was a very smart decision on my part. This wonderful business got me through to PFL/EDD through a very simple process. And if anything goes wrong? Like I didn't hear the EDD call to me on the first go? The service gives you access to the auto dialer all day that you pay the 10 dollars. Triple thumbs up to a real life-saver.

Amazing - Got through and processed payment same day!

Amazing. I had been calling EDD constantly for the last couple weeks. Tried the 240 trick and nothing worked. Finally learned about Eddcaller on Reddit and decided to pay the $9.99. I couldn't believe it but it got through after about 1 hour and over 1,000 attempts! I was on hold for about 45 minutes before finally talking to an EDD employee who was actually amazingly helpful and processed my payment same day! I don't know what I would've done if it wasn't for eddcaller.com!

I used this bot today and am impressed

I used this bot today and am impressed. I was frustrated with calling PFL and constantly reaching their automated message that they have reached capacity for calls and to try again at a better time, so I turned to the internet for answers. I stumbled across a forum that recommended this bot for a solution. At first I was skeptical and hesitant because I was unfamiliar with the EDDCaller, but at this point was ready for any suggestions. I purchased the bot for a one time fee of $9.99 and had to wait 2 hours to reach a live agent. The cue allows you to see how many attempts have been made to reach someone, and it took my call about 732 calls to finally go through. You don’t need to have the website open since you receive a call indicating that you’re next in line to talk to someone but I kept it open just to see how many calls were made. I’m amazed at how this bot works because it got the job done! You have to read more into it in order to know how it works and make sure you’re telling the bot which department to call—be aware of that. You must choose what department you are calling, SDI, PFL, UNEMPLOYMENT, or whatever option fits your call, make sure you tell them what department you’re trying to reach. Was it worth the $9.99? In my personal opinion, yes. I got tired of calling EDD PFL and this got the job done for me!

Scammers

Scammers. Don’t waste your money. The call won’t come through and when you reach out to them they block you or ignore you .my husband waited for his only day off to make sure he had a whole day free to just look at his phone and wait for the call. It ringed once so we tried with my phone number and same thing and literally they won’t do anything even tho they guarantee you will speak to edd. False advertising and disputing with my bank. They tried saying it’s the phones fault but I used them before and it first time never had issues but now ll of a sudden does.

If you have call screening on when using our service you cannot receive a call. We do not control how many times your phone rings before it goes to voicemail. Our system detects when the connection is established to your phone provider. You've clearly used the service before and know it works. We have to prevent fraud.

Quick, Easy, Well Worth the Price: in touch with EDD Almost Immediately

What made my experience great was the ease in which I was able to set it up, and the quickness in which EDD Caller was able to connect me. Before that, I had spent hours calling EDD over the course of weeks, only to either have the call dropped, be put on hold for over an hour before having the call dropped, or sent directly to a automated voice message informing me they aren’t accepting calls. In other words, I was completely unable to have my issues with EDD resolved.

With EDD Caller, all I had to do was register and request a call back. Within 30-45 min of registering, I received the call back and was speaking to a live person. Simple as that. If you need to get a hold of EDD, forget trying to call them directly and use EDD Caller. Well worth the price as it will save you hours of headache

Got through

I waited about 30 minutes for the call and I was able to speak with someone. I was trying to call myself for several days without success before so it was a relief.
