We put in our first order for Hofmann digital photo albums on May 31st, received an email 3 days later stating they had been made and delivered to shipping company MRW with a tracking number. Two weeks later I contacted Hofmann as the albums did not arrive and the MRW tracking number did not produce any result. They replied that they would make the albums again and send them with zero explanation as to what happened to our order and no indication of timeline.
We contacted them again to ask for an explanation and to ask them to send them express via DHL as we needed the albums urgently. They explained that the albums simply had not been made (!!!) and that their automated system incorrectly indicated they had been made and shipped so they did not notice. They now say I should get them by July 3rd, over a month after my original order. This delay is unacceptable and the customer service is appalling, they use standard template answers and provided a 5€ coupon as an apology.
It was very important for me to get these albums sooner as they were gifts to my son's grandparents to be given at his baptism. They live very far away which makes it challenging to send the albums to them and they are traveling for the occasion. Thank you Hofmann for ruining this for us! Needless to say we will never use your service again and will not recommend it.
