Slimy company

Slimy company, made a mistake and ordered 2 overpriced tickets. I called two minutes later and they told me tough. Sorry not how American companies should do business. They baited me with tickets for 2020 and when I hit confirm buy it magically switched to 2021!!!

They will not give me my money back for…

They will not give me my money back for the Elton John concert even though it was postponed May 1, 2020 and rescheduled for February of 2022 almost 2 years later. Do not use this company to purchase tickets. I will continue to write reviews weekly.

When a show is postponed the tickets purchased are still valid for entry on the newly scheduled date, and therefore are not eligible for a refund. We paid over $2,500 for a postponed concert.

We paid $2,573.21 for 2 tickets to the May 23, 2020 concert in Greensboro, NC, and they will not refund our money. Originally, Event Tickets Center gave us a credit of $200 because our son purchased the tickets unbeknownst to us. Now we have been told it is a final settlement unless the concert is officially cancelled! Even worse, Elton John has rescheduled 50 concerts that were originally scheduled after ours—He’s rescheduled “postponed” concerts starting September 2020 through dates that extend throughout 2021. No USA concerts. He is scheduled to perform in Europe through Dec. 2021, and Event Tickets Center will not refund us for our May 23, 2020 tickets. We are furious. Ticketmaster (TM) offered a FULL refund to all ticket holders for our event, but Event Tickets Center would not honor that offer, even though we called within TMs required timeframe for the refund. Event Tickets Center continues to refuse to reimburse us for the full ticket cost. Unbelievable and NEVER AGAIN. Totally unethical vendor. DON’T PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM.

Event Tickets Center refuses to refund…

Event Tickets Center refuses to refund ticket purchases for events that have been rescheduled multiple times. Regardless of the written policy, holding customers money for over a year without an option for refund is shady at best. Stay away.

I suggest contacting the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Affairs, or anyone else who will listen.

I just had the same experience

I just had the same experience. I am out of pocket almost $500 for a concert that has been postponed indefinably till at least a yr out and who knows with the covid if that will even happen. I dont even know if i will be around or here when that concert finally happens. I think it is inconceivable that they would not see this has a natural disaster and refund our money! I can always re buy the ticket closer to the time if i am absolutely desperate, but for now i could really use that $500!!! i will never buy with them again! Disgusting service

Rude Customer Support

I just called Event Tickets regarding a postponed concert due to Covid and I got the rudest customer support rep. I wish I got her name.

Concert is postponed till July, 2021 and I cannot get a refund. To expect people to honor tickets that are more than a year in the future is ridiculous.

I asked to talk to her supervisor and she put me on hold while I was talking. Talked over me several times. I never got to talk to her supervisor.

Super rude customer service rep…

Super rude customer service rep regarding cancellation of a concert during COVID. They're not up to date on their processes or the cancellations of concerts. Customer rep was condescending. Horrible company model.

This is a scam

This is a scam! We purchased tickets for a comedy show that was postponed due to COVID-19. The venue stated that the original tickets would be honored on the new show date or we could obtain a refund. Unfortunately, we are unable to attend the new show date. We contacted Ticketmaster as the event tickets showed in that account. We were told that the tickets were actually owned by Event Tickets and they had taken advantage of a "loop whole" to transfer the tickets to our Ticket Master account and appear as a verified TM purchase. When we contacted Event Tickets they refused to give us the refund and told us all sales were final.

Concert was great, Arena needs updating.

Concert was great! Acoustic not that great, but seats we had helped. The arena itself is old and the seats need to be replaced. The floor was so sticky and dirty that our feet literally made noises when we tried to take a step. Need lighting on stairs and handrails. Vendors were courteous and there were enough to make lines quick to go through. Also a very good selection of food and beverages. But, seriously....clean the floors and seats. Parking was a little confusing, could have used more people directing traffic, and they probably should not be on their cell phones while directing cars.
