Just an excellent way to get about the…

Just an excellent way to get about the Greek Islands. The ferries we travelled on are always clean, staff efficient and friendly and we love the experience every time we use them

So I did have trouble throw no fault of…

So I did have trouble throw no fault of the faeries or this company. There was a strike and we couldn’t get our ferry had to buy a plane ticket. Once we got back to the states this company help me get a refund for the ferry the day of the strike. All I can say is thank you.

Thanks for the answer! We confirm that on your part, you explained what to do and helped us. But we got into a very terrible situation because of the late seajets ferry. Suffered a great loss of money and moral suffering.And being late for work in your city. We read a lot of reviews about seajets and they are all terrible, constantly late.That in 2019 I consider unacceptable! The most disappointing thing is that the tickets indicate 3 hours of travel to Piraeus,and in the end we sailed with stops on two Islands( I Hope this situation will be solved somehow.Thanks

Buyer beware

Well our first trip buying tickets through them was fine, but then we used them again to buy tickets from Naxos to Andros and they sold us tickets and charged our credit card for a ferry that had stopped running two weeks prior, we were lucky enough to stop into a ferry office in Naxos Town and get a refund and tickets for a different ferry line. Beware that this can happen and always go a day or two before to a ferry office to get your paper tickets.

Dear Susanne,

Please note that we are an online travel agency. The routes that are offered via our online booking engine are automatically shown via Liknoss which is the central ferry booking System in Greece. Consequently, we are not able to suggest tickets of vessels that are already canceled but only of real scheduled itineraries of the ferry companies. We searched among our bookings and found only one booking for a trip from Naxos to Andros with passenger name Susanne so we contacted Seajets ferry company that offered this route to find out exactly what happened.

Below is the reply that we received from them.

Hello,
Kindly note that indeed the Naxos to Andros itinerary was cancelled on our side a couple of days before the departure.
By checking the SMS messages we sent to the clients regarding this cancellation we found out that the particular reservation was excluded from our list due to a technical error.
Please pass to Mrs King our sincere apologies for this inconvenience.
I would also like to add that this mistake is on our side completely and I am apologizing on behalf of the company for the trouble we caused.

We would also like to clarify that we never received from them any notification that they had canceled this itinerary in order to inform you.
We are glad that you already received from the local agent in Naxos replacement tickets for the amount that you paid to us via your credit card.
We would be very grateful if you could place this review and grade on the ferry company instead of us.

Service recommended for ferry booking

It was very easy to book ferries in greece via this Service and everything worked easily. Moreover, they provided transparent information on the ferry status.

I would have give you 5 Stars if it wasn’t of the miss of interest of Anthoula in helping us with a cancellation of one of our ferries. We had to contact ourselves the Golden Star cie. We have contact you after and the Guy named Michael was very prompt in helping us and very professional.

We checked your communication with our reservations department and we found out that indeed Mrs. Anthoula told you initially to wait with the cancellation of your trip from Piraeus to Mykonos with Golden Star Ferries.
This was because, at that point, we had not received a formal notification from them that the trip was cancelled and she was afraid that cancellation fees would apply if she proceeded with it.
On the next day, Mr. Michael had meanwhile been able to confirm it with the ferry company and as he was sure that your tickets were fully refundable, he suggested to you other available itineraries. You selected to travel with Blue Star ferries and he made the according arrangements for you.

We are happy that it all worked out and are sorry for the small delay that was due to the fact that we had not been notified yet by Golden Star ferries about your cancelled itinerary.

Very responsive

They were very responsive when my boat was canceled due to winds. They immediately refunded the price of my ticket. They also kept me informed of changes in one of my bookings.

Great Journey

There are no queuing line upon entering the Ferries and it was a hot summer :) for adult it will be fine however children and elderly maybe need a priority queue. Upon entering the Ferries there are also no queue for going to second floor where consumer seat, however inside of the Ferries is amazing and very comfortable

Boarding and disembark needs to be organized

Everything was great, my only complaint would be the lack of organization when you board. It’s madness! Nobody is there to direct people into a line so it’s crazy. It feels like the ferry is the last boat to leave a island that is about to sink into the ocean. Waves of people trying to board pushing you. It’s kind of dangerous I say.

Plenty of difficulties

For the route Piraeus Sifnos: tickets bought in march 2019
Cancelled in september with another vessel (we have to changed the tickets which was impossible because Ferriesingreece affirm they do not receive old tickets sent by recommandé international with avis de reception) ; we have to buy another tickets for Speed Runner 16/09/2019 ; AND on Monday (16/09) Morning (about 6 AM just before take vessel) we receive an message (SMS) for taking another vessel SEA JET 2 ;
in the message it is writed : "Please note that your tickets are valid for the above trips (with Sea Jet 2) and their is no need to make any changes" ;
But this was a fake news !
We have to buy another ticket !!
For ONE route we have to buy THREE 3 tickets !
300 euros in place of 100 euros !!
This travel (Piraeus Sifnos) was very difficult because of problems to get valid tickets !
We wait the refunding of tickets cancelled by Ferriesin greece system !

We would like to inform you that when a ferry itinerary is cancelled by the ferry company and the tickets have been sent out by courier to the passenger, we need to request it back in order to refund it or to change it for a different trip. This is in accordance to the terms and conditions that you accepted before proceeding to this booking. Due to the fact that we received your tickets with delay, you proceeded online and bought a new set of tickets for the Piraeus to Sifnos trip.
Consequently, we had two payments from you for the same trip.
As we have now received your initial tickets of the cancelled itinerary, we have been able to totally refund to you their total value.
Concerning the third payment that you mentioned, Seajets informs us that they did not ask you to pay again. As they informed us, you travelled normally with the tickets of booking ****25674.

Furthermore, they explained, that If they had asked you to pay again they would have provided a receipt to you and they would be able to find your names twice in their passenger's list.
If this information that they gave us is incorrect, kindly send us the receipt of the third payment so that we can arrange for its refund as well.
