BEWARE and read very CAREFULLY the Fitness Plus CONTRACT termination rules. Even during the government mandated COVID lockdown, they will not make payment adjustments and will keep billing you and send demand letters even if you you can NOT use the gym due to the lockdown and COVID health precautions. Even worse is that if you are a bit late in cancelling your membership even for just less than 1 month (during the pandemic lockdown), you will have to pay for another 1 entire year of membership (1,300+ CHF) even if you do NOT want to use the membership anymore for various reason - COVID, hygiene, etc). Moreover, I have been to the gym 2x only for the 2-year membership period I paid (during pandemic) and I can say that the Basel location is in a shabby part of Basel, the gym is low quality for the price you pay and sadly needs better cleanliness/hygiene practices. It also does not help that the gym manager in Basel is money-driven salesman/bully who just wants to try to get the maximum money from customers who want to discontinue contract as he tries hard to save his failing business. Beware, check very well since there are better quality gyms and better business practices in Basel. This place is not worth your time and money. See other poor reviews (also Google reviews) and you will read the same issue from other customers who have been FORCED to pay for another additional year for services you can NOT and do NOT want to use during the COVID pandemic lockdown! Beware.
