One of my best packaged-tour experiences I've experienced to date. Following the recommendations by various experts to get multiple quotes, I found that Peter's company was one of the most responsive, and willing to tailor-make the itinerary to suit my budget. Upon confirming my interest, I was also pleasantly surprised that he was able to upgrade the lodges that I'd be staying in, as it was low-season.

After booking and payment, Peter remained responsive, and ensured that trip logistics were completely seamless, all the way from pick-up in Nairobi, throughout the safari, and to my return to Nairobi. A customised packet was also provided at the start of the tour to run-down what I could expect on the trip.

During the safari itself, Edward was a treat. His 12 years of experience guiding and driving in the various national parks in Kenya was self-evident, as he was able to spot and zip us to the choicest spots to see and photograph not just the headlining Big Five, but also the various other small mammals and birds that the Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru has to offer. It was clear to me during the safari that how successful a guide is depends on their individual reputation, and Edward's was clearly stellar. There were a few times when he helped pull stuck vans out of the mud (tip: don't go in a van during the wet season!), and he made good use of the onboard radio to work with fellow guides to pool resources to detect elusive game, such as leopards and cheetahs. I've no doubt that Edward's expertise was why I saw all the highlights that the Maasai Mara and Nakuru have to offer, from the Big Five to a whole range of birds and lovely, upclose view of the tamer game such as zebras, giraffe and rhinos.

Of course, no one is perfect. I only found out on my second day in the Maasai Mara that we had a fridge in the Land Cruiser, though that is partly my fault for not reading the tour packet closely. We also ran dry on water on the last day, but that was near the end of the tour, when we had left Nakuru for Naivasha.

Overall, I had a great first safari experience, which has left a deep impression on me and a yearning to return. I'm almost certain I'll be back with Africa Flash McTours when I next return to Kenya.

this is my first time coming to Kenya with my friend, this tour is amazing and a good experience for us to remember. first of all, Peter is professional, He helped us arrange the trip even though it was urgent, we arrived on the same day to book the dishes and he gave us a good itinerary based on our budget, the whole process was very pleasant and the driver Edward was very professional. he has 12 years driver experience, we spend three days, he is so cute, very recommend him to be your driver. and peter arranges accommodation also well, the food and people are so nice. I will recommend my friends join this tour.

My first ever safari trip turned out to be a travelling highlight of my life, thanks to perfect planning by FlashMac, and our wonderful guide and driver, Edward.

Our trip was 6 days starting with a drive from Nairobi to Maasai Mara where we stayed for 2 nights. Then we spent 1 night at Lake Naivasha and 2 nights in Amboseli.

My friend and I were met early in the morning at our hotel in Nairobi by, Edward, our driver and safari guide. The car we would spend our days in was comfortable, and we were well taken care of. Edward is a professional guide and a safe driver. He is accommodating, funny and has impressive knowledge about nature and the animals. We got so close to the animals, and learned so much about them.

The places we stayed in were also wonderful. The «tented camps» in Maasai Mara and Lake Naivasha were only tents in the sense that they had canvas walls. We felt welcome everywhere, and were well taken care of. I also very much appreciate FlashMacs focus on sustainability, and the lodges focus on eco-friendly solutions like solar power.

I highly recommend choosing FlashMac. Thank you for making my safari trip in Kenya so special!

Travelled with Flash Mac Easter 2023 from Nairobi, to Masai Mara (2 nights), Lake Naivasha (1 night) and finally Amboseli (2 nights), and I can not rate this company higher. We were met by our driver Edward at our hotel in Nairobi and had the pleasure of being taken care of by him for 6 days in our own car. Big comfortable car (7 seater 4wd), safe driver, skilled guide, and who had our planned schedule down to a T. I have been to very many safaris before, but this trip was by far the best I have experienced. We got to see all the animals we could possibly imagine, Edward's knowledge of animals was impressive, and his relationship to all the other guides and drivers in the parks made sure we ALWAYS got tipped about animals when spottet. The lodges that cooperate with Flash are outstanding - personal and charming - where we were taken well care of. I can not recommend this company enough. Thank you for 6 unforgettable days in Kenya.

We went to Lake Nakuru National Park from Nairobi in our own 4 x 4 for a game drive. It was such a great experience, as our driver was knowledgeable and was open to answer all our questions. We learnt alot from all the animals we saw, making the tour much more valuable and educational at the same time.

We had a fantastic safari with Simon, our guide on our Masai Mara safari. Masai Mara park is amazing, with plenty of wildlife, which we managed to see due to our experienced guide, who was respectful and knowledgeable of the animals.
Our accommodation was at the Mara Bush Camp, and the place was beautiful with amazing staff who were super friendly and warm. It is also located inside the park, and a great spot for wildlife viewing.

We took the 4 day tour of Amboseli, Tsavo west and Tsavo east national parks.
We appreciated Simon the tour guide who was punctual, very professional, really knowledgeable in unique facts about the parks, animals and birds. He was flexible to enrich our safari whenever it was required. The accomodation was well organised, tour vehicle was always clean even though it was a dusty period, and communication was good.

Peter’s patience while booking was impressive, answering all the questions we had and comparing different options that we were considering. I plan to use them next time I take my family.

Flash McTours gave us a fantastic safari experience in Kenya. Our driver Edward was excellent, very experienced and knowledgeable. We felt really safe in the jeep with him and he was totally committed to making sure that we saw as many animals as possible - and we saw so many - it was unbelievable! Peter was really responsive and created a bespoke tour to meet our needs. I called him several times and he was very patient with my questions. Despite booking the trip in 2019 and delaying till August 2022 because of the pandemic, everything was perfectly arranged. The phrase ‘trip of a lifetime’ may seem overused or like an exaggeration, but I cannot think of any other way to describe the week we just had. And it is fully down to the care, detail, skill, experience and organisation of Peter and the team at Africa Flash McTours. I was with 3 friends and our visit was 2 nights at Sopa Mara Lodge, 1 night at Sopa Lake Nakuru and 2 nights at Kibo Safari Camp. The accommodation that was booked for us by Peter at each of these 3 places was beautifully clean and comfortable with a great range buffet style food to suit any appetite; lovely restaurant/bar/lounge areas; and the most, friendly and welcoming staff. They were in amazing locations which either gave great views or the feeling of being fully embedded in the bush. Each had a different design and atmosphere which added to the feeling of a luxury trip.
But - what made the trip was our guide and driver Edward. He is an amazing, thoughtful and caring man who without doubt made the experience what it was. His Land Cruiser vehicle was brilliantly comfortable. It had a fridge for storing cold water (used to fill up the complimentary flasks we were given as gifts from the company) and USB charge points. The roof section opened up to give excellent viewing and it was robust and powerful enough to take us across whatever terrain was needed to get us close to the animals. The powerful radio meant Edward was able to communicate with other guides to know straight away where the best animals had been spotted and take us there (at what we called ‘lion speed’)
Edward told us that he had been doing this for 11 years and we quickly worked out that this meant he was pretty much the most experienced guide on the parks. He told us we would see ‘everything’ and he was right. His knowledge of the animals, birds, habitats and behaviours was superb. He knew exactly where to take us for the best chance of seeing the animals and got the jeep into the best positions for us to watch them up close - even adjusting so that we would have the best light for our photographs. We were often the first jeep to arrive at the scene of an amazing animal experience (lions with a fresh kill, lions mating, hyenas with brand new cubs, troops of elephants to name a few), with other vehicles playing catch-up. He seemed to know every inch of each of the parks.
Edward organised our days to give us the best experience of sunrises, sunsets, views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the vast and changing landscapes of the park. We squeezed the juice out of every hour even seeing amazing birds and animals right up to the last 5 minutes before dark.
He was calm and patient throughout, listening to what we were enjoying and making sure we saw it. His passion for the animals and birds was also evident and his ability to keep us in suspense about what was round the corner made it feel like a true adventure.
His stamina with all the driving was incredible and always felt safe and competent hands whether driving across the grasslands or on 5 hour road journeys between venues.
It was a lovely moment when we stopped for lunch in Nairobi and were able to meet Peter in person who greeted us like old friends as well as Edwards brother Simon an equally experienced guide with the company.
On our final day, Edward organised a visit to a Masai village (an experience not to be missed) and thoughtfully took photos and videos of us dancing and talking to the villagers so that this amazing memory was captured.
If anyone is thinking of a Kenyan safari then I cannot recommend Africa Flash McTours highly enough. The attention to detail, meticulous organisation and personal approach would be difficult to top.

Fantastic 6 full days in Masai Mara: Excellent organisation, response time and professionalism by Africa FlashMac Tours and Travel, and special kudos to Edward who is an excellent driver/guide, especially as he understands very well how to position his car for photographers: when a group of wildebeests unexpectedly decided to cross the Mara river while we were expecting another group nearby to cross first, Edward not only reacted very fast but, contrary to most other drivers who drove straight to the crossing, he took a slightly longer way/time to reach the action and positioned us just downstream by the river. Which means we were in a prime spot to photograph and film the one croc who caught a young wildebeest and extracted it from the pack! Edward also sometimes takes a chance on where a leopard or cheetah may decide to go in order to position the car in the best possible location. Once or twice it didn't succeed but when it did (most of the time) we always ended up at the exact right position (as when a cheetah chased an impala or two hyenas killed and split a baby gazelle). Definitely highly recommended!

I`ve had the pleasure of having Peter and Simon taking care of all the details for my July trip to Masai Mara. Peter, making sure that all the details were taken care of, including making sure I had coffee shortly after arriving in the early morning in Nairobi and coming to meet me and explain to me a few changes made in the program!!

Simon, simply one of the best in this business. He is knowledgeable, friendly, patient and always has a smile on his face....

We couldn’t rate Africa Flash McTours highly enough. They’ve been amazing from start to finish and have helped give us the best honeymoon!

Peter organised an excellent itinerary and answered all our questions extremely quickly. We communicated with Peter quite a lot during the planning of our safari as we had originally booked for 2020 but we had to postpone to 2022 due to Covid but there were no issues with this.

Simon was our guide who met us at the airport. He was always on time, friendly, was very knowledgable about the animals (and great at spotting them) and was an excellent driver! We had heavy rain during our trip and he got through roads I thought would be impassable. He also seemed to have a great network with other guides to help him locate some of the rarer animals. This meant we saw the big 5 no problem! He was a lovely guy who was great to chat to and would do anything to help make our trip enjoyable.

All the best to the team and we hope tourism returns to normal levels soon.

At the end of a two week business trip from Australia, I had two days to fit in a very quick safari. Flash Mc were excellent during the booking process for two nights at Meru NP, even though we knew it entailed some tight deadlines to catch my departing flight. In hindsight, even though I suggested it, I probably should have done Amboseli instead given these deadlines. But I was assured it would be okay (which it was in the end - just).
So just me and driver-guide Patrick to Meru in a 6-seater Land Cruiser. Patrick as a driver was fantastic - especially given that it was over 22 hours actual (and at times, very challenging) driving in 2.5 days. Getting out of Meru at 4.30 in the morning in pouring rain on an almost non-existent flooding road was a major achievement!
As a guide, Patrick was okay. It was obvious that he did not have full knowledge of Meru NP and while we saw reasonable game, this lack of the local area was clear. His knowledge of wildlife was fair, but not good for birds or vegetation. So full marks for driving, half marks for guiding. But I must also add, that I have done many safaris to many countries in Africa, so probably used to a different level of guiding.
I would definitely consider Flash Mc Tours again, they get a lot right and their staff are excellent.

We were in December 2021 for about 12 days with Flash McTours on the road. We were two people from germany. Here we visited Masai Mara, Amboseli and Tsavo East. The whole tour was very well planned and an incredible experience! Peter answered all our questions in advance regarding the trip and our stay in Kenya. Especially due to the Corona Pandemic, the support and understanding from Flash McTours was very good and helpful. We had planned a private tour for two with a 4x4 car. It has to be said that a 4x4 car is only useful if the driver can handle it. Our driver, Edward Mathu, was incredibly experienced with driving, the environment and the individual parks. Compared to other drivers we have experienced, this is not a matter of course! Edward has an incredible sense of the behavior of individual animals, their habitat and a good knowledge about each species. He was able to orientate himself very well in the parks and knew where which animals like to stay, so that we could experience all animals. At the same time he is incredibly well connected within the guides and a great driver. We towed other cars several times during our tour and helped other guides and their tourists as they got stuck in the terrain, as not all drivers are experienced. We were always very well equipped for the game drives and this was also very well planned. Our guide also accommodated our requests when we wanted to do something different, like experience something of Nairobi or do something in the villages, so we were able to meet many locals as well, which was very important to us. It was overall a wonderful experience and we would recommend Flash McTours again and again! Especially with Edward as our driver, it was an incredibly good time where we got to experience Kenya, the environment, the people and the culture. Ask for Edward when you book here as the guide has a very big impact on the experiences you gather!

Africa Flash was an incredible company to work with. Peter was very helpful in helping plan and execute our dream vacation. His correspondence was always prompt and helpful. My family and I were very pleased with the services of Africa Flash McTours and Travel during our trip to Masai Mara and Amboseli. Right from setting up the itinerary to its execution, everything was organized perfectly. Though our trip was not finalized till the last minute due to COVID regulation, Peter was helpful right from the beginning, three months in advance, answering to my emails and messages. At no point I felt that he was not cooperating considering that there was no guarantee of our safari. While booking hotels, he ensured that my request for wheelchair assistance rooms were considered. Weekend was not an issue with him. He was available 24/7. He even helped us in getting our Kenya visa when my online visa agent did not respond to my calls in spite paying full amount in advance. Without Peter’s help our trip would not have taken place.
Peter has an excellent team especially his tour guide Simon. We had an amazing experience with Simon. He went above and beyond as our guide. His knowledge and experience in the parks helped us see all the major animals. He was also extremely patient and courteous, especially since we had someone who needed a wheelchair. He was always punctual and made sure we left early for all the safaris. Being young, he had the same enthusiasm as a normal tourist would have and went beyond his limits to make sure that we get an unforgettable safari experience.

We had the most amazing experience traveling through Kenya with Africa FlashMC tours. I typically arrange our travel on my own, but for our family’s first trip to Africa I wanted the expertise of a guide. Communicating with Peter leading up to our trip could not have been easier. He always responded in a timely manner; he patiently answered all of my questions and he was flexible and accommodating in creating the perfect custom itinerary for our family with two little kids. Our actual tour surpassed all of our expectations. We visited Ol Pejeta and Samburu and enjoyed both. Our guide, Edward, truly made our trip. By the end of our tour Edward felt like family to us and we were sad to say goodbye. Our kids loved him and we did too. He shared so much knowledge with us and we appreciated his graciousness throughout. Would highly recommend!
