Scammers
Scammers. They will do everything possible to charge you for absolute nonsense. The staff are rude, and when you call just to ask for basic information, they deliberately misguide you. Stay away at all costs—I promise you will regret dealing with them. If there were an option to give 0 stars, even that would be too generous.
the black mafia
well i applied for a credit card with flexiti.and instantly got 4500. i bought a laundry centre for my mom for 2100.. within a day or two..i got a call from flexiti that i could not be identified despite my in person contact with the Brick in north bay...drivers licence..passport available..phone . codes and requested photos from my own phone..snap shots they took..i am a sole home owner who paid cash for it years ago..pay all my bills early with an excellent credit score. and flexity identified me as a risk and revoked my 6 months interest free status. i was routed into communicating with their security people who seemed like a reroute to Jamaica. it was very scary and i cancelled the order
and cancelled my credit card as well.. something is wrong with the corruption level of Flexiti. There seems to be no level of North American ethical business. standards. You might as well be dealing with the mafia.
BIG SCAM
BIG SCAM. They send no notifications to pay & when you miss the initial $2000 payment the remove the 0% promotion without you knowing and charge you 39% interest without your knowledge. Then finally when it's too late to do anything THEN they call & reach out to threaten collection. We have stellar 850+ credit, never missed any payments and flexiti just scammed us. Reporting to BBB and getting a lawyer involved, the managers are no help, very dismissive.
The worst interest rates I have ever…
The worst interest rates I have ever seen. It keeps you on the same level of repayment forever so they can continue sapping your money. In my opinion it’s like a scam in an attractive package.
About Flexiti
[UPDATED]
Following my initial review, Flexiti reached out to better understand the issue. After reviewing the details, we discovered that the mix-up likely occurred when Wayfair reprocessed my order for a price adjustment — at that point, the financing option was mistakenly changed from the 24-month no-interest plan to a “3% store credit” plan.
Flexiti eventually offered a $200 goodwill credit, which I’ve now received, and I appreciate that gesture. Their customer service and final resolution effort were solid, though the overall process could have been clearer and more coordinated between Flexiti and Wayfair.
[ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW]
Earlier this year I bought a hot tub on Wayfair and chose the advertised option to pay in 24 installments with no interest. To use it, I had to open their branded credit card account with Flexiti.
That’s where the problems started. I was told that if I paid every statement on time, no interest would be added. After paying over $1,000, I noticed my balance had barely gone down (only about $400). When I called, Flexiti said that’s “what they received from Wayfair,” while Wayfair kept sending me back to Flexiti. Neither took responsibility.
In the end, the “0% interest installment plan” I signed up for never actually existed. I had to pay off the entire balance just to get rid of this predatory setup.
I only applied for this card because of the financing option, and it turned out to be a scam. Save yourself the stress — avoid Flexiti financing at all costs.
The worst card
Honestly, probably one of the worst cards I have ever had.
Firstly, nobody speaks proper English so you have to repeat yourself several times or they will ask you the same questions over and over again.
Secondly, they’re always reluctant to help you with anything financially once you’ve made a purchase. For instance, I’ve asked to get a refund because I overpaid and it ended up being a whole rendezvous.
I have also previously asked why I was paying extra fees and I had to call three times to get an actual answer
The only plus of having this card is you able to do 0% for two years on purchases
But even then they’ll have you pay interest and then pay you back that interest…it makes no sense to me.
I say just get a line of credit so you don’t have to worry about all the troubles that come with this
Very bad service
Very bad service , worst costumer service , they never mention any additional payments . They charge you without even letting you know Not recommended!!!!! Even the manager was very rude and didn’t fix the problem .
Beware, DO NOT USE FLEXITY!!!
Scammers, they have hidden fees everywhere. As a customer this is the worst company to deal with. Please do not waste your money or get scammed from these scammers! And their customer service takes 15 days to reply to an email and most of the time they do not even bother to reply. Awful!
Flexiti Penalizes You for Having a Positive Balance – Unethical Practice
I knew companies could charge you for having a negative balance, but apparently, Flexiti will also penalize you for having a positive one. I had a $50 credit in my account and they took $25 of it simply because I didn’t request a payout. No reminder, no warning — just quietly took 50% of my money.
When I asked, I was told it was “in the terms,” but it took their assistance for me to even find where this was buried. This feels intentionally hidden. Nobody would reasonably expect to be penalized for holding a positive balance.
It’s hard to view this as anything other than an unethical cash grab. If you use Flexiti, watch your account like a hawk — apparently, your money isn’t safe even when they owe it to you.
It's all great until they deceive you with the statements…
It's all great until they misguide you with their statements stating minimum payment of $0 due until after the due date, then they send you statements with interest added. Their payment due date DOES NOT reflect the actual payment due date. Word of caution to those who use Flexiti: make sure you pay the money within the time period mentioned when the agreement is signed. and do not rely on their statements. It's purposely deceiving, just so they can rip you off with their interest. I have filed a case with BBB and Consumer Protection Act against them.
Nightmare of my life to deal with them
Nightmare of my life to deal with them. They and their vendors trap you. Never explain the whole shit they do. After a given period of time the charge interest on whole amount. very high interest rates 40%. They never explain this while you sign the contract. Customer's services is very bad you have to wait for 30 min still no one answers you. Big scammers beautifully misinform you.
One of the worst company to get a credit from
One of the worst company to get a credit from , the charged over 340$ for interest while saying it's interest free plan!! .
Never trust them , fête a credit from any way but them they will try to scam u by every way
A year later, I`m still paying for the full amount, interest bringing it back up every time I make a payment.
Flexiti was a good
Flexiti was a good, trustworthy financial institution for the first couple of years that I bought a couple of items from Wayfair and when I bought a mattress set from the Brick, but in the past few months, they have been legalistic and wanted 2 pieces of photo identification, when I was going to buy a tower fan. I told them I would not deal with them again, that after using them for a few years and receiving monthly payments, you ask for two photo identification. I owed 35.50 in June, which I paid June 24th, sure that I had paid them off. Then, I get an email on June 25th stating I still owe 50 cents which I paid on June 26th, now I have another email on June 27st, stating I still owe them $1. I paid $2 on June 28th, hoping they don't come up with my owing anything more. I no longer trust that company.
Only lies and errors.
Only lies and errors.
Everything single time i call to ajust something or ask a question its always bullshit.
Had 3 payments with them, wanted to end 2 quickly. They augmented the one i was finishing so now its eternal.
I just dont understand how they can be so incompetent
Admin charges
Beware with Flexiti. They will kill you with admin charges and very bad customer service.
Never Again
Was sent to collections for a Paid off, CLOSED ACCOUNT. Was told repeatedly by them that the account was closed, got confirmation of the account being closed; but a few months later began getting collections calls saying that I owed them $1000.
My account balance was $0. I owed them nothing, not even service fees. It still took THREE calls and THREE complaints before they would close my account.
NEVER use this company!
I had a balance of 2600 dollars on my…
I had a balance of 2600 dollars on my Flexiti account due to an item returned to the Brick.
There was no money owing on my Flexiti account. There was 2600 credit on my account.
I wanted this sent to me. Flexiti asked for my banking info for direct deposit to my account, which I gave to them. Shortly thereafter I received notice that my refund had been processed but the 2600 dollars would not be deposited into my bank account for 4 weeks! I checked my Flexiti account and the 2600 dollars had indeed been withdrawn from my Account. This is an unreasonable amount of time to wait for a simple bank deposit. It’s obvious that Flexiti is using my money while they delay the bank deposit. This is terrible customer service.
