Got denied 6.5k payout and account breached for trading on a day with ALL day news on my phase 2.

Doesn’t state any rules about all day news on the FAQs on website.

Reached Funded Status — Then They Shut Me Out Without Proof

I’m extremely disappointed with FundedX. I passed their evaluation, traded responsibly, and grew my funded account to over $64,000 in profits. Then, out of nowhere, they accused me of violating their rules by having multiple accounts — something I never did.

I’ve only ever used one account, which I verified with KYC on January 10 and used for all my trading. Despite emailing the risk team for 10 days and waiting for a response, they have not replied. The support team eventually responded, claiming my account was “conclusively breached” and advising me to “create a new account.”

Here’s the issue: they breached my main account because of other profiles linked to my name. I have no idea who created those other profiles, and I’ve never used them. It’s incredibly frustrating and unfair that my verified, KYC account was breached because of these unrelated profiles, especially since I followed all the rules.

It seems like a poor excuse to avoid paying me the $64,000 I rightfully earned.

What they’re essentially saying is that someone could open an account using your name, and despite you completing KYC, if a profile linked to your name exists, they’ll breach your account. Does this even make sense? What’s the point of KYC if they’ll still breach your account for profiles they can’t even prove are tied to you?

The absurdity of it gets worse — they suggested I create a new account, just so they can breach it again for the same reason.

I can’t recommend FundedX to anyone. If you’re considering trading with them, be cautious. The lack of transparency, professionalism, and poor customer support speaks volumes. It’s just not worth the risk

I’m writing this review to WARN ASPIRING TRADERS like myself about this prop firm, FundedX. I’m not the type of person to damage a business’s reputation without reason, and everything stated here is supported by emails and screenshots.

About a month ago, I purchased a 1 Phase $10K Challenge Account and successfully reached 3% out of the 10% profit target. However, shortly after this progress, my account was halted without any explanation. I received an email claiming my account had been breached, but the “Reason for Breach” field contained only a full stop. When I checked my FundedX dashboard, it stated the account was “Manually Breached.” My MT5 terminal was then brought to zero, making it unusable.

While I understand mistakes can happen, this is where the real issues, and what I consider potential scam behaviour began. I immediately emailed FundedX Support, as I had not violated any rules. Only four trades were placed on the account, and there was no explanation given on the dashboard or in the email. Support directed me to contact the Risk Department, stating they handle these issues. I did so. Their response was: “Check your dashboard, you may have breached a rule. If not, send us your details so we can look into it.” I replied with all requested details and informed them that my dashboard said “Manually Breached.” That email has now gone unanswered for 12 days.

After several days of no response, I contacted Support again. They told me: “They (Risk Department) will reach out to you about this issue.” Once again, I heard nothing. I followed up again, explaining I was missing trading opportunities and unable to use the account I had paid for. A few days later, the dashboard showed the account as active again. However, when I tried to log in to MT5 using the credentials from the dashboard, I received an “Invalid Account” error. I tested this across different networks and times of the day, but the error persisted.

For the fifth time, I had to email Support to fix another issue caused on their end. Their reply was: “Might be your network or something, please check properly.” I responded saying I had already tried different networks, and asked them to look into it. Their follow-up: “Just keep trying because nothing else can be done.” This is a clear example of negligence and disrespect from FundedX’s support team. I highlighted this in my next email and was told: “To get a clear explanation regarding the breach of your account, I recommend reaching out to our Risk Department directly.” They were completely oblivious to the fact that I had already done this and never received a reply. They continued to deflect responsibility, suggesting I should be “more mindful” if Risk had given me a reason—which they hadn’t.

To this day, the issue remains unresolved. Eventually, a moderator on FundedX’s Discord told me I would be issued a new 'Fresh Challenge Account.' I made it very clear that I did not want that, I wanted either a full refund or a fully funded account due to the progress I had made (3%), the trade opportunities lost, and the time wasted. Instead, they gave me a 2 Phase Challenge Account, which was not what I originally purchased. This decision reversed all my progress and further showed their complete disregard for traders’ time, money, and efforts.

This experience highlights the ignorance of FundedX’s support team and what I strongly believe is a case of them trying to take advantage of aspiring traders. Giving me a 2 Phase account instead of a 1 Phase, despite their own admitted mistake, is unacceptable. I’ve now emailed them requesting a full refund and have made it clear I will never do business with them again.

Until that refund is processed, I stand by my opinion that this firm is running what can reasonably be considered a SCAM. BE CAREFUL.

ALSO, I wouldn’t be surprised if FundedX never responds to this review, everything I’ve stated is FACTUAL and backed by emails and screenshots. This situation exposes the TRUE NATURE of their operations. Instead of boasting on social media about “24/7 support” and “Transparency With Our Traders,” FundedX should focus on fixing their support system and hiring people who actually care.

IF they do respond, it’ll probably be another copy-paste reply that ignores everything I’ve raised, just like every email exchange so far.

ALSO DO NOT be FOOLED by their “GOOD REVIEWS.” They PAY traders $20 USD to write Trustpilot reviews, which I have proof for, as I also got that email myself right after my first payout was approved. This firm is a complete joke.

At this point, I don’t care how, it will happen, I WILL get my FULL REFUND. I refuse to be SCAMMED by a careless, unprofessional, and disgraceful PROP FIRM. FundedX has wasted enough of my time. Now, be Warned, don’t waste your time.

My account got compromised and someone had been trading on this MT5 account on both my live and fundedX account. I've managed to recover my live account funds back, but this is besides the point, and allow me to tell you about how this company loves to waste time and fks around.

I had purchased a 10k funded account and I wasn't planning to trade with it for a couple of days due to market movements. As a result, I just logged in to my computer and let it be. It unfortunately got compromised, where the account credentials were stolen, and the hacker had blew through the rules, where I had then gotten an email saying my account got halted. Interesting, I thought, I opened it up and never recognised any of the trades. So, I immediately contacted support and asked for reassurance, and they had said to wait 24 - 48 hours for help. Fair enough, so I wait 48 hours. I message again and they simply had accused me flat of using the account, even though I blatantly told them the story, how I told them almost instantly when it happened and they kept saying 'Nah, fk you, we ain't giving another account nor your money back lol'. When, in their own T&Cs, it says to notify them of any unauthorised account entries. It's almost like wtf is the point of putting that sentence there, because it doesn't do anything?

Extremely disappointing, don't even bother putting your money through this prop firm. In addition, other people are constantly complaining in the discord server, so it isn't just my word. Stick to FTMO

This company is a joke.

I made TWO trades, used proper risk, and still got hit with a “daily drawdown breach” even though I was well within the limit. Support sends the same useless copy-paste replies and never explains anything.

This is the second time it’s happened — I’m done. The system feels rigged, and they’re just looking for ways to fail traders.

Do not trust this company. Don’t waste your money.

I have had zero issues with FundedX. Support in the discord has always been helpful and timely in any requests/questions that I’ve had. The support staff is knowledgeable in all rules and they are all clearly stated in the FAQ in the discord. The only reason that I rated a 4/5 stars is that sometimes the rules are changed slightly, as far as trading before/during high-impact news events and the stacking of trades. However, if you practice good risk management, there are no issues to be had. @Elano in support was extremely helpful in helping me secure my $200k funded account. Keep up the great work FundedX!
