For people with ADHD
For people with ADHD - there are many different methods of getting work done. There's body doubling (the act of having another person present - it helps with accountability), the pomodoro method (timed work sprints with timed breaks in between), sub-tasking (breaking down a big task into smaller little tasks so it's more digestible), accountability buddies (where someone intentionally checks in on you and your goals to help keep you on track). And don't forget... having a support group helps with ADHD too.
Would you believe that focused space has ALL OF THESE THINGS bundled into your membership? Literally all of them. You can join community sessions at most hours of the day to body-double with other people like you. In those sessions, you also set goals and break them down into smaller goals, and work on those goals using the pomodoro method. You can also join wake-up calls (or weekly/monthly planning sessions) to set goals outside of the community sessions. Additionally, if you want your facilitator to email you at the end of the day to check in on you and your goals, you can do that too. All of this is led by focused space facilitators (and all of them are amazing - Scott is my favorite) who are incredibly supportive and a joy to work alongside. They all run things a little differently. The reason Scott is my favorite is because he has a big emphasis on gratitude in his sessions, and also likes to get us out of our chairs for guided stretching and breathing.
Focused Space, and Scott, have a very special place in my heart. I get by getting things done at work, but I REALLY struggle getting things done at home. It dawned on me one day I could use the space to try and tackle some chores around the house. Now, I start most mornings on Scott's 8:30AM community session - which means by the time I start work, my kitchen is clean and I've usually gotten some meal prep done too. This means I'm starting my day doing something for my family instead of my employer, AND since meals are prepped, I get more time with my husband in the evening.
SO many wins all around by using this space. It is worth every single penny. The only way you could possibly regret it is by forgetting to actually use it. I cannot recommend enough!
