No customer care fitness
Was looking for a personal trainer to train down for an event. I saw ad for GetResults promising first session free (wear training clothes) and booked it via their Web booking system, getting confirmation of the meeting. They are based in two locations mine was at Western Health and Racquets Club where they use their gym. Turned up downstairs and waited for 10 minutes with no one there to meet me and then went searching. Found a gentlemen, who's name escapes me, "Greg Wallace" lookalike, who says he has no record of my appointment *. I'm ready and dressed to train while talking as requested, but says the first session is not training just talk which is misleading from thier advertising *. Gym is rather dated and small, living room sized and does not fill me with confidence but we talk. I suggested they put thier pricing structure on website, he says it is (its not), but find out It's £45 a session, roughly £200 a month over a year for one weekly session. It sounds like it's a two person operation without thier own gym. I'm asking questions about my particular training down requirements but mostly just getting my ideas echoed back to me. He says they've lost trainers recently and there are no sessions in Giffnock and only a couple in Hyndland. and I agreed to a "proper" first trial session later in the week. I asked if the other trainer could give me a 10 minute call before so we could hit the ground running and not repeat the talking. "Greg" said aye, but I didn't receive that call *. There is no free car parking at the Hyndland location so I park 10 minutes away and walk in. Met by "Greg" and a look of surprise. They have rearranged my first session by text. It's now rescheduled for an hour later. He thought the other trainer was free but he was not*. They had texted the wrong number * even though he showed me my correct number on his phone. No follow up by them on my lack of response to their single text *. So I decide to call it a day and , without raising my voice, indicate my irritation with "No Appointment Fitness" wasting my time, and my disappointment with thier awful administration and multiple mistakes with my very first session. At this point it appears this trainer also has a "Greg Wallace" attitude to criticism! "Write any review you want" "I've been in the business 20 years" "Don't need you" "Sorry, but only made one mistake" (6 on my counting see *) . I politely questioned his attitude to a new customer and "Greg" bluntly suggested "I look at myself". From my experience, this outfit does not appear to be able to do as it says. First two appointments mucked up, rearrangements mucked up, dire customer service and attitude. Looks a two horse outfit, piggy backing on dated 3rd party facilities, under pressure and whose own time is more valuable than the customers. Plenty of competitors with much better facilities googlable in Glasgow at this price point and I'm just going to find one!
