Players beware – Illegal GoldenPanda casino ignores €3,610 claim
I am a Dutch citizen who deposited a total of €3,610 on GoldenPanda.com, not knowing that this platform was operating illegally in the Netherlands without a license from the Dutch Gambling Authority (Kansspelautoriteit). Under Dutch law (Wet op de Kansspelen), offering remote gambling services without a national license is a criminal offence. Despite this, GoldenPanda made no attempt to block Dutch players, failed to implement regional restrictions, and allowed me to deposit and lose money without providing any of the consumer protections legally required.
After discovering this, I submitted a formal legal complaint and requested a full refund based on clear legal grounds. I even offered to resolve the matter amicably. Instead, GoldenPanda responded only with automated messages referring to an irrelevant €8 account balance, while completely ignoring the actual €3,610 loss. No escalation. No contact from Legal or Compliance.
Following this, I consulted with a Dutch law firm, Loonstein Advocaten, which specializes in unlawful gambling disputes. I have already initiated formal steps, including filing a complaint with the Kansspelautoriteit, reporting GoldenPanda to payment processors, financial institutions, and anti-fraud registries, and preparing to publish a full legal case summary on platforms that monitor illegal gambling operators.
Multiple Dutch courts have already ruled that gambling losses on unlicensed platforms must be fully refunded. This is not a vague threat — it is established legal precedent under Article 3:40 of the Dutch Civil Code. I have preserved full documentation of my case, including payment records, account history, and communication transcripts. I am documenting every step and will publicly share the full legal process if this matter is not resolved. Furthermore, I am prepared to coordinate with other affected players and legal experts to pursue collective legal action if necessary.
It is important to mention that in previous situations with other casino operators, where initial problems arose, I have publicly praised their professionalism once the issues were resolved. My record shows that I am fair, transparent, and willing to update public statements to reflect responsible action. The same opportunity remains open here.
GoldenPanda is currently violating both European and Dutch gambling laws, offering no regulatory protection and showing blatant disregard for consumer rights. I strongly warn all EU players to avoid this platform at all costs.

Update: After GoldenPanda publicly responded to my original review, I immediately contacted them through their official complaints email as instructed. That was days ago. Since then, they have gone completely silent — no reply, no confirmation, no engagement of any kind. Let me be absolutely clear: I am lawfully demanding the return of €3,610, which I deposited and lost on a platform that was operating illegally in the Netherlands without a license from the Dutch Gambling Authority (Kansspelautoriteit). This is a criminal violation under Dutch law. GoldenPanda failed to block Dutch players, made no technical effort to restrict access, and offered remote gambling services without any regulatory approval. Their Terms and Conditions do not override national legislation. After repeated attempts to resolve this matter amicably, I have now issued a formal legal notice of default (ingebrekestelling) and retained Loonstein Advocaten, a law firm specializing in unlawful gambling claims. A full complaint has been filed with the Dutch regulator. All documentation — including payment history, communication records, and screenshots — has been preserved. If GoldenPanda continues to ignore this lawful claim, I will proceed with full public exposure of the case, including publication of all evidence, notification of payment processors and financial institutions, and coordination with other affected EU players for possible collective legal action. Dutch courts have already ruled that such losses must be refunded under Article 3:40 of the Dutch Civil Code. GoldenPanda now has one final opportunity to respond within 7 days. After that, all consequences — legal, regulatory, and reputational — will follow without further notice. Every step is documented. Every silence adds weight to the case.
