Site seems cool. I think they need to upgrade their server or something though cause everything loaded slow. Id use it again though.

Useless, fake, irrelevant, and now apparently, non-existent
"life-time" membership. There were virtually NO GRANTS. I think was just another scam. I benefited ZERO from many tedious searches for a needle in a haystack.

Joined the centre for small business funding in december 2017. Now i cant use my account as they appear they are shut down. Called customer support 100s of times with no response. The website number is now gone, and so is the live chat. when i call thr number on my invoice...it does not work.

They just stole 600 dollars from me after hounding me every songle day for 3 months before i buy

Poor customer service, waste of money and time

I think this is a very useful site for setting business owners up with great information in regards to funding. It puts all funding opportunities in one place and allows you to organize and follow them closely! I would definitely recommend this service to new entrepreneurs.

I'm starting a new business and there's a lot for me to learn. I don't like the fact that nothing is guaranteed but I guess it's the same wherever you go to apply for loans. I've found this to be helpful and easy so far, I hope I get funding.

I had put all my own money into my business and needed a little more for some new equipment and other things. I found dealing with all of you very easy and and felt at ease the whole time. If I had any questions or concerns all I had to do was call and I would have the answers I needed.
I would and have recommended you to other people that I know . It is good to know there is places out there when you need a little extra help

The customer relations is very quick and efficient, however the product you are buying is not at all necessary. Don't spend the money for access to this website, because all the same information is available for free at canadabusiness .ca/programs/

Thankfully, I got a grant and so I was able to submit proof of funding and this review to get my $589 subscription fee back.

This middle guy doesn't help much except to provide some loans and grants info which you can get from the government as well. The key point is “ALL YOUR WORK MUST BE DONE BY YOURSELF” It will take same amount time and effort, whether you purchase this information or not. Realistically, only a few businesses are able to get a grant or enough amount of a loan.

Once you enter contact information on their website, they will call you immediately. They don't briefly explain their services well; they will be more focus on their sales instead of it. They will say you are able to get grants and they can help you. The sales rep I talked was very aggressive and he contacted me several times in a day before I gave him a credit card number. You will not have much time to make a decision if you answer their phone call properly. Think more seriously before you give them a credit card number.

This is not a government organization and you will pay for quite a lot of money. If you don't know very well about this kind of middle guys and don't want to spend $589, I highly recommend visiting government site first. You can get more accurate and enough information from the government. When I talked to the government, they warned me to “keep a distance from these guys."

Due to most of small business owners have a lack of time and money; they are looking for less time/money consuming ways to support their business. You may apply a low interest loan or a grant, but you don't need to choose this expensive option. I recommend followings

1. Visit the government of Canada site (I would like to link it, but doesn't allow to link in here) and Call 1-800-622-6232 to get more info about grant and loan.
2. You will realize only a few of grants or loans are eligible among hundreds of them (In my case, the sales person told me I have a lot of options and I can apply as much as I can, but it was not true.)
3. Pick only suitable ones for your business and prepare your business plan to submit (This is own your work whether you purchase info or not from this guys.)
4. Submit the application as much as possible doesn’t mean you can get a grant or a loan. Your business plan is the most important and the biggest time consuming work, not the loan information.

Paying almost $600 to buy some loan information only? Give me a break! It is a very overpriced and you will need to pay other extra $$$/time top of this cost. Contact the government and put your $600 for advertising your products or service is much better idea.

This company will just take your money they offer no more service than searching .They can't guarantee any funding that you apply for. If you try to ask for a refund they will just give you the run around. You are better off going to search on an actual government website for FREE! The Canadian government has issues a warning to consumers about companies like these to BEWARE! They should not be charging people for information regarding funding and services from the government. This is dishonest and unlawful. People who don't have a background in business BEWARE! Do your research and search the Competition Bureau of Canada about these companies as well as the Better Business Bureau. Also I just found out why they have so many "Excellent" reviews on Trustpilot. They give partial/ full refunds to people who give them a good review for them on this site. If they are giving full refunds then how are they making money off this so called software? By pushing sales on people who they know won't get funding. Overall a dishonest and horrible company.

Great database provided with membership. Lots of options to choose from for financing. Every question I had was answered in a timely manner. I was helped every step of the way. It worked. I got the financing I needed.

They were very quick to get back to us after leaving a message asking how to get the ball rolling. We found the website very informative and it definitely helped steer us in the right direction. Also the business plan template was amazing, a little too in depth for what we needed for our business but we were able to make it work. In the end we ended up receiving two government loans to start our business. One for leasehold improvements and the other to purchase equipment. Thanks to Center for Small Business Financing we are officially open and super busy with a clientele who is loving the look and atmosphere. I definitely recommend using Center for Small Businesses Financing to help with your business or even of you have any questions if you are just starting out and don't know where to go next.

Great Service. Every time I need support they were their to answer. This allowed me to Network and expand my business by steering away from my comfort zone. I am hoping to continue to use the service and help grow my business.

It was convenient to have a consolidated list of grants and financing options, as well as the business plan builder tool. My concern was that there was an insufficient number of grants/loans available for the average business-owner. Most of the options were designated for very specific groups of people, most of which I am not a part of. The loans that were available for me were too difficult to attain due to credit score or other. The woman I first dealt with was very pleasant and she seemed to explain everything in detail, until I signed up and needed further assistance - then it took days for someone to get back to me. With time sensitive matters such as loans, I found that to be very unprofessional. Overall, it was a decent experience, great concept - just delivery was not 100% on point.

This was a great experience where I was able to find a list of grants, loans that pertained to my business. I would highly recommend others to give it a try.

I was excited when I not only found a funder for expanding my business via the Centre for Small Business Financing but that I would also receive my entry fee back after receiving funding.
its been a bit of a rough experience receiving the refund as it has taken many phone calls and emails. But Kevin was always kind even when i was frustrated.

There are many programs however most can be found on google. There is a lot related to arts and stuff but for manufacturing there is next to nothing
