I spoke to a rep who called me , he hung up on me mid sentence, at first I though it was a mistake but he never called back. I guess he figured out that he couldn't get any money from me. I just got the info I needed straight from the government website so I guess this company is irrelevant and just out to make money. You can also get the info you need from 1 800 O-Canada

This portal provides a platform where you can search for funding based on your needs and project status. It is a one stop shop that saves lot of time and effort. I was able to get funding within 4 months and in addition to that it provided me with lot of contacts, networking and information that I can use as I move further along with my startup.

I would definitely recommend this portal as you have noting to lose here!

I was contacted immediately to sign up for several grants /loans that would 'possibly' apply to me. After I payed the one time refundable usage fee, very little was available for me. However BEFORE I signed up the sales representative had told me MANY grants/loans applied to me! I was able to get a (one)fisherman's loan for a new vessel with CBDC. This was the ONLY loan available for me. I have a short term loan with a very high interest rate! I had to provide MANY legal documents which took my lawyer several days to complete with additional expenses! Even though I am very grateful for this loan it does not come without cost. In my opinion it is a very risky commitment for any new business owner. I would recommend a local financial institution over this.
I am still waiting for my refundable membership fee;(it's been over a month since I applied) I am hopeful I will receive this after I complete this "mandatory review"
