Still awaiting my £800.00 pound deposit back pulled out of having roof done as the company is a shambles and very unprofessional!
Didn’t trust them or the product after they messed us about if t hats what there like in the beginning imagine when you need to call the back for something ! Very disappointed in the company as were £800.00 still awaiting our refund as we’ve had nothing done and never will seems unfair they keep your deposit in fact more than unfair disgusting

To make it clear, we have offered you dates and you refused. Your contract is still active and we are ready when you are to start the work. You have left nasty and toxic reviews all over the internet, trying to destroy our credibility. It is your call, we are ready to start when you want us to.
Contracts are designed to protect both parties in situations like this. That is why our contracts have a 14 day cooling off period for you to freely change your mind. We appreciate that committing to any home renovation is not a decision that is taken lightly.
Why don't you come down and see us in person or we can arrange a site visit to sort this out.
Leaving defamatory comments all over the internet as a way of trying to exit a contract is not the way to do business.
We are fair and reasonable and will be happy to discuss privately.

I have a conservatory that has a Guardian Warm Roof, so I needed to find an installer who knew this system so not to avoid any warranty on the roof or damage it in anyway. GRD seemed the logical choice as they were originally based in Swindon, they have since moved to Newbury.
I was Quoted £12250 to install and fit a 5 part Bi-fold door in Anthracite Grey which included a RSJ and some block work. This was dropped to £11900 to exclude the plastering. A 10% deposit was paid in March 2021.
The work started on 23/06/2021, door was installed by the following mid week.
An additional cost of £220 was discussed to replace all guttering to match the Anthracite door. The remaining balance for the installation was settled with the guttering and Fascia work to still be completed. I was also advised paperwork would be sent through for the installation of the door. Nothing received.
After chasing by phone, text, whatsapp, email and getting no response, I was finally got an email response saying this was due in on the 04/10/21. This was the last communication I have received from Guardian Roof Designs Ltd.
I emailed them on the 05/12/2022 advising if I do not hear anything back I will need to go down the route of courts. No response
March 2022 - An official letter sent advising that we will go to court if I do not get a response withing 14 days. - No response
The process continues.
Avoid these cow boys. I have just forked out nearly £500 to complete the work that I paid for them to do.

As contracted, our Guardian Certified team installed an RSJ and a beautiful new Bi-fold Door System to your existing Conservatory that had a Guardian Roof fitted by another company. All following Strict Building Standards and most importantly; completed and finished to your satisfaction.
(The finished Conversion was photographed, to record the high standard of work).
The EXTRA work was Quoted as an 'EXTRA' to replace Facias and Guttering to match a colour with a clearly competitive price of an additional £200.
NO Payment has been made or taken for the EXTRA work.
Sadly due to a mix of Covid, staff sickness, and material shortages, we apologised and advised that we would be unable to complete the additional EXTRA work quickly.
Therefore we were honest and upfront in advising on several occasions that a specialist Facia company could have a better chance of success in finding the matching materials that the previous company had used. (Material Shortage over Covid Period was often due to Factory Closures).
Our assessment might also be reflected in the difficulties in finding the matching materials as the Facia Company that you found cost was 150% / £300 more than what we had quoted to compete.
Our Quoted cost for the EXTRA work = £200 (no payment taken)
The Company that you used for the EXTRA work cost = £500

Conservatory transformed! Thanks to Evonne and the team for carrying out the conversion on my conservatory. The glass roof has been replaced with a solid, tiled one and the wooden side frames which had started to rot have been replaced with good quality PVC alternatives. The structure is appealing both outside and in. The room is bright and warm. The team doing the construction (Chris, James and Jay) were helpful and friendly, working hard to provide a good quality finish. Where items needed to be changed, this was done as quickly as possible and follow-up after the build to make minor adjustments was also provided quickly. I am delighted with my new look room which can now be enjoyed throughout the year. Can recommend.
