Almost 1 year of success

Almost 1 year of using Heficed services - everything is perfect. My company is using Heficed's dedicated servers, cloud servers and IP address market. All services are very easy to order, configure and manage using Heficed Terminal. Finally, responsive customer support completes our great experience.

Best business partner we’ve ever had

First: We love Heficed! We are here since June 2020 and ordering IPs from Heficed for our own infrastructure in Germany. If there is any question we can be sure that we will get an answer and a possible solution as fast as possible. Also via Slack we can reach the team instantly and clarify problems. So for example we wanted to use own name servers which normally not possible, we talked about this with the team via Slack and it was fixed within few minutes! Also when we had a problem with our payment provide we informed Heficed about that and asked for a later due date so that we can pay the invoice few days later. This was also not a problem and we were able to pay it later. We very happy have such a good partner on our right side! Thanks for the nice cooperation guys!

Service quality degraded seriously since the rebranding from Host1plus

Prices are very good, ticket response time is decent, uptime is impecable, and service customization level is a plus. Unfortunately, overall service was much better during Host1plus days. After the rebranding to Heficed, several things degraded and I had a few disappointing experiences that I am going to share below.

Take the web console, for example. Now, it is less responsive (takes a while to load, considering the lean design and low information volume), and has subtle bugs, like the resource usage plots not updating properly when you switch the plot range from hours to days or weeks, etc.

The hourly billing policy is obscure: it says you are billed for "metered resource usage", but you don't get a usage report when you are billed. I have often been billed twice a month, in a total amount superior to what the maximum service cost should be, according to the pricing widget in the control panel. Furthermore, my Host1plus invoices used to include a detailed breakdown of the costs of each resource (CPU, RAM, disk, etc.), but now I can only see how much each resource costs when I make changes to the server's configuration (the invoice only shows the total amount), so it's never an easy time when I want to make comparisons to other providers. And I'll be straightforward honest about it: Heficed's feature of letting you choose exactly how much you want for each resource and paying based on that has always been a strong selling point (you don't get that much flexibility in any other VPS provider, as far as I know).

Finally, I should mention that I had issues with my VPS being cancelled twice because my wallet ran out of credits and, despite of credit card payments being enabled, invoices were generated, and they were due only 3 days after the respective events! On both cases, I received e-mail notifying of service termination within 24 hours. In the first time, it just slipped through my inbox. However, in the second time, I was going to make the payment about 14 hours after receiving the notification, but found out the service had already been terminated. The worst part of it all: instead of just shutting down your server and sending you additional notifications before complete termination (after all, you've been a steadily paying customer for over 3 years, I guess that's how you should proceed in such cases, under civilized assumptions), they just erase everything (backups included), so you have to start over.

As a last point, I think that removing the domain renewal service and having you register and renew your domain name by yourself is an unforgivable step back, since any VPS provider will offer you that functionality.

Stable services and convenient service…

Stable services and convenient service management control panel. Very easy to manage cloud resources. Also, Heficed has some interesting locations on the Africa continent.

Great Support - Look Forward To Updates

Their team cares for their customers and their experience. The site does have somethings that can improve, though the features they plan on adding seem promising. Excited to see where things in the future, have a lot of faith in this service and will continue to use them.

Price has doubled and currency conversion errors made it 3x to 4x with refuse to fix

They've Doubled the service price.
When paying, they had a problem with currency conversion and billed almost twice more (almost 4x the price that was before)

No refund. I don't have time to deal with this so I will move out on the next renew
