More Pricey, But You Get What You Pay For

Although we could find a less expensive internet provider, Hughesnet provides good service and we do not experience problems that I hear others talk about with their internet provider. Hughesnet has tweaked our setup to receive the best reception possible.

Prompt and knowledgeable installer

The installer was early which was great and he got right to work. He explained the system and the fixes he was doing. The dish was adjusted and works great.
HughesNet needs to support the installers and the company they work for. The work I needed done was put off for a week because parts were delayed come to find out I didn’t even need the parts. The company HughesNet contracts with in the Pacific Northwest is short handed and I feel they could use better support from HughesNet.

We place our internet on seasonal hold

We place our internet on seasonal hold. I think the price is high…Xfinity charges $5 a month and we lease their equipment. Your charge of over $15 is high. The good thing this year when we had our service started I didn’t have to endure lengthy sales pitches and immediate huge price increases. The service started without any problems. This was great! I was ready to go to a different provider but because of this I’m staying with Hughesnet. The customer service representative was courteous and extremely helpful!

DO NOT EVER GET THIS SERVICE!!

DO NOT EVER GET THIS SERVICE!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, TERRIBLE INTERNET SERVICE, EVERYTHING TERRIBLE! Went through 3 or 4 routers can’t even keep track because the service would never stay connected! Called numerous times, never offered credits on my account… Service went out again, called to request credit AGAIN and to cancel and was told unless I continue the crap service I can’t get credit for not having it for the last two years!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
