I attended this 6 day intensive training in November 2019. I attended in order to develop my knowledge, confidence and skills in using hypnotherapy to help the patients I see. The course covered ways to work with people with health problems ranging from pain, emergency care, cancer, skin, functional and inflammatory disorders, muscle skeletal problems and its place in palliative care. Of course it was not possible to cover every problem area in medicine but John and Sharon made every effort to address the areas that were relevant to the students. We learnt approaches, techniques, assessment to help people tap into their own healing potential and every day practiced these on each other. John also gave daily in-depth demonstrations of using hypnotherapy to address physical health problems and the emotional, historical roots of these problems.
This was my first course with HTI, many of the other students had attended other courses with HTI, even repeating some which to me was testament of the quality of the courses. I also learnt a lot from my fellow students.
Overall a very positive learning experience which has inspired me to learn more and widened my sense of just what is possible in hypnotherapy and mind-body medicine.

Great experience to learn with Dr. John Buttler. He is one of the best teacher in this field.

Outstanding teaching from a hypnotherapy master. The course emphasises the crucial fundamentals of hypnotherapy while building core skills to enable students to evolve into effective and skilled practitioners.
The course allows the ‘novices ‘ to sort the wood from the trees and more experienced practitioners to hone their skills to a high level.
I feel privileged to have been a student in Dr Butler’s hypnotherapy training classes.

John Butler is an inspiring professional, a committed teacher and a remarkable human being. Hypnosis is a invaluable tool to transform our lives. In this course John puts in our hands the needed knowledge to master this yet unknown power and shows us the how-to with actual examples of the praxis. Learning hypnosis is learning how to re-educate ourselves, it helps us to get ride of unwanted inherited traits, fears, behaviours... I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the Hypnotherapy Skills For Life Change course. The training is both very professional and practical, and there is plenty of hands on experience throughout the 6 days.
John is wonderfully knowledgeable and always open to questions, so that every trainee can take the most away with their time on the course.
His valuable experience and expertise are obvious from the very beginning and it is easily recognisable that John Butler is a true master of his trade.
I enjoyed every moment of the course and it was so nice to meet, be, and engage with like minded people on the course too.

Great teaching -excellent value for money

I have completed all four of the main training courses and I can honestly say that they were all first-class. Dr John Butler and Sharon Young deliver exceptional courses to very small groups of dedicated participants. There is an excellent mixture of theory and practice and the training is packed with information that has been studied, practised and taught over the past 30-40 years. Absolutely no fluff. Amazing value for money too. The support during the diploma process has been phenomenal. Thank you, John and Sharon! I cannot recommend HTI more highly and would encourage anyone interested in hypnosis and becoming a hypnotherapist to take the HTI courses. Your future self and clients will thank you for it.

I've completed 2 of the 4 training modules with HTI. I did a lot of research and almost got sucked into the marketing machine of Marisa Peer until I decided to find out where she trained which led me to HTI. I'm very thankful to have John Butler as a teacher, he is fascinatingly knowledgable and had so much to give us. Everyone on the course felt the same way. The group is kept purposely small and the training delivered surpasses expectations. On one of the modules we had a student who had done the training with Marisa Peer and she was very clear that HTI is superior.

I HAVE ATTENDED TWO OF THE COURSES OFFERED BY HTI AND INTEND TO TAKE THE REMAINING TWO COURSES IN THE COMING MONTHS. DR. BUTLER HAS PROVED TO BE A WELL INFORMED AND ATTENTIVE TEACHER, MAKING EACH DAY OF THE COURSE AN ENRICHING EXPERIENCE. IT IS WONDERFUL TO STUDY WITH A CLINICIAN OF HIS MAGNITUDE.

Best course out there to learn and master hypnotherpy skills. At first it is important to do learn self hypnosis and sort out ones own baggage, then go on to do the analytical work that is required for different scenarios patients will consult. This course with Dr John Butler will teach all the range of therapeutic modalities needed for a successful and fruitful practice.
