We have been quite pleased with iFax. Faxes arrive timely. The image copies are good. We rarely have ones with lines or scrunched. The only issues have been with an occasional fax that we send tha... See more

Doesn't work

This product should get 0 stars. It did not work, and the company was unable to assist. They kept sending messages saying give it more time. After waiting a day and the fax still did not send, I had to use another service.
In addition, they refused a refund. I would strongly recommend against purchasing this service.

Criminals

Charged me just under 300 dollars to send a single fax. Refused to refund me. This is a criminal scam.

I was given a 3-day grace period to…

I was given a 3-day grace period to evaluate the iFax app. However, we were billed immediately! They gave the lame excuse that I had somehow added 2,500 pages to my subscription and now I was "unable to cancel the subscription"!! I didn't add those pages, the software did this automatically. No way I would knowingly do this in a 3-day trial. This is a dishonest company using website algorithms that lead you into dead-ends traps. Stay away from iFax!

Free trial is a scam

Free trial is a scam. I accidentally clicked on the button thinking I was starting my free trial only to realize they charged me. There was no way to get a refund. I didn't even use their service. Total scam

Listen to the other 1-star reviews

Listen to the other 1-star reviews. Their system is set up on stealth auto-renewal, and there is no way to cancel it before it renews without immediately losing access to the service you have paid for. They are just here to take your money.

Don't do it - you aren't getting a refund!

Don't do it, because you won't get a refund if you don't like it.

What they don't understand is that Consumer Rights, i.e. Distance Selling Regulations, provide that the retailer, (iFax in this instance) is under a mandated duty (as they sell in the UK), and are therefore bound by our laws, to provide a refund if the consumer BUYS. A. PRODUCT and then requests a refund within 14 days. The free trial is complementary and does not fall under this time. YET, they maintain that it is.

iFax actually sent MANY disturbing and worrisome emails, you wouldn't send half of it to your worst enemy. Furthermore:
1. it does not work, the service is useless and confirms faxes that have not been yet sent
2. They will cancel your account when you ask for a refund.... SURE. But it won't be refunded.

IF you're dying, ill, disabled (as in my instance), pocket dial a trial and start it accidentally...

You guessed it... they won't refund it/

TIP: If you live in the UK if this has happened to you, call your bank! Ask them for a chargeback and or a refund on the basis that iFax has breached consumer law. Many banks are fantastic with this sort of thing!!!!

Service was good

Service was good, as expected. One point: when sending a Fax to a receiver that is returning a Busy Signal, it would be helpful to read that response, versus the “The Receiver is not receiving faxes at this time.” Busy seems more “temporary.”

FINANCIAL CRIME??

I agree with the comments on the 1 star ratings, of which there are many. I had the same song and dance from their Trey as they duped me into a 1 year subscription after sending 1 fax within the "free trial" period. For me, this is organised theft and falls into the category of financial crime. They should be charged by the police. I will relentlessly pursue my refund demand. Here in the UK, we have the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 which protects consumers against this type of fraud.

Don't use

Don't use, everything is set up on a stealth autorenewal and the portal doesn't allow you to control (ie, cancel) subscription. Used this for some one time business faxes and feel scammed.

Super predatory

Extremely, incredibly predatory practices. Unbelievably unpleasant experience right at the start. They ensured I will never return to their product ever again.

Since 2023 I've been charged about $20 a month for iFax plus plan, but they could not locate my account so I've been unable to receive electronic E checks and e-card. I've asked for a refund and still waiting. Not happy with service I've lost a lot of money using their services. Be careful!

No refunds for cancelling after free trial

The fax feature is fine - you're limited to 6 pages per fax. But be careful about the trial. If for any reason you did not mean to sign up for the full year and miss cancelling on the day of, they will not refund you for the mistake even if you email them requesting to refund your money and that you have not used the service since the paid period started. And the subscription is for an entire year, so that's $299 that is non refundable in any way even if you try to cancel the day the charge goes through

iFax is simply a great company

this is just a great company - a hidden gem i'd say as their footprint, I think, is pretty small.
Their service is absolutely first rate. Their basic fax service is HIPAA compliant. (a previous company wanted to charge me a lot more for this).
Their customer service is the best i've ever experienced, in any company. they immediately respond and set about to find a solution or fix the problem. If you need an internet fax solution - you should definitely give them a try.
