My email had been hacked and I tried to log in to declare my revenue via France Connect. I had a working connection to Améli. I tried following the instructions on the gouv.fr website : put in your social security number & your password (no indication as to which password so I assumed it would be the password for Améli). This did not work. Neither did the social security number with the impôts password. What did work was the Améli account number and the Améli password (logical) - but this is not what the instructions on the impots.gouv.fr say. Du travail baclé - sloppy work by the computing department - this cost me at least 30 minutes of lost time. We should not have to deal with sloppy work producing wrong instructions on such an important website.
