InsureandGo rip people off! Avoid!

If you use InsureandGo prepare to be ripped off! I know people who had a very bad experience with InsureandGo. Read the guardian newspaper accounts to see how unethical these guys really are. The stories are no surprise after what I’ve heard about from others.

Efficient and Patient

The young lady who took my details over the phone and sorted out which of my 'ailments' had to be listed was very efficient and patient. All was sorted in a reasonable time making the payment a little easier.

Very easy to navigate

Very easy to navigate, which is really important for me (not being an IT genious) very quickly got quote with plenty of information that was easy to understand (no gobbledegook!) Requested copy by post and this arrived super quickly. Have used Insure & Go before and am very very happy with website.

DISGRACEFUL.

DISGRACEFUL.
I took out the top policy which covered $500 cash. I was robbed and they refused to pay.
My expensive jacket was stolen, refused to pay even with the requested police report.
My prescription reading glasses were lost when boating.
They wouldn't even respond to 5 emails I had sent them, even after threatening legal action.

My review is a mixed bag

My review is a mixed bag. I stopped a long-standing Gold policy with InsureandGo last because the premium had jumped up massively for less cover. I called to find out the reason for the increase was because my wife turned 66 this year. I'm 62 and wanted to include several sports eg skiing, paragliding. So that was the end of the joint policy! However, rating goes to how easy it was for me to create a policy of my own to suit me, good price too. Good value while it lasts! (3 years to go!!)

As I was paying for the call, it took nearly 15 minutes for the agent to read all the questions and eventually give ma a price, in this case it should be a free number.

I was impressed by both the attitude and eagerness of the representative to find a mutually acceptable and suitable cover package.

Saved me hundreds

Oh my gosh, InsureandGo just knocked literally £100s off a competitor who I was going to renew with. I needed multi trip, worldwide including cruises and extra cover for a long trip they were about £600 cheaper!
A tad robotic I’d say, but I suppose they have to do all the terms and conditions.
