I loved the study, it was fun to do and made me feel part of the community. I Love the work of spreading the word and making eating and living more healthy.simpler. What I missed in the study was the practice of coaching. If you don't find the right sparring partners yourself, and this is not always easy, there is no support other than 'keep trying'.
I tend to be more forward thinking than most. It was a big, expensive confirmation of everything I was doing already and why. I have not used this education once in the year I’ve been certified. There is zero support post program, so if you don’t already have start up capital and a network, Good Luck. I was also told as part of my tuition I would be financially covered to sit for a proctored exam for a national certification. The sales person lied to me and no one wants to make good on it now. The exam was an additional $150 I was bluntly told yes, it was included in the program. I asked directly.
They make it sound like the possibilities are endless. All possibilities are endless all the time. It doesn’t make the reality stronger. Most people can’t do this unless you hustle people for many, many months or buy a network. They claim to give guidance on how to sell heart centered, but it’s just a few videos with no real substance. Many people are currently not working or Do not have the money to spend on what they see as a luxury. Of course, there’s always the one person that did create a coaching program from nothing. That they claim “can be done.” This is not the case for the majority. They are selling you hope and excitement.
Save your money. If you want to health coach, find something more in-depth. This program is a very expensive stepping stone you could easily do without. I regret my purchase 100%. I still owe for half of a useless program. There is just not enough substance and communication/post program support for me. By the time I finish my next step, this will be obsolete. And I will still owe them money. Pass!
I love, love IIN. It has been helping me over the course of this year with making changes in my life and giving me the confidence needed to start enjoying me. I want to continue to learn and grow with this program.
I'm so thankful I had the opportunity to train with IIN. As I begin my health coaching practice, I feel so well-equipped with the knowledge I've gained from them and am secure in that I have their resources to reference in the future.
I loved my experience with IIN. I appreciate how I learned about primary and secondary food, the importance of mental/emotional health in addition to nutrition. All the courses I have taken have helped me reach my healthiest and happiest self and I am able to help others everyday!
I am so happy I decided to enroll at IIN. It gives such a great overview of health and a variety of different perspectives on health, wellness, exercise, lifestyle, dietary theories and more!
This institute changed me and my family life. Since I started, we are eating better, we improved our style of life and also we are more healthy than before, especially my husband that use to eat very very unhealthy. Also, I have already started my new business of health coaching, which is keeping me very motivated and happy. Thanks IIN for all, I will miss attending class!
This is a wonderful program! Most of the content is excellent, however some of it a bit outdated. All in all, I am enjoying it fully and highly recommend it to anyone wishing to become a health coach or just wanting additional knowledge regarding nutrition and health.
Has given me all the business tools, in depth knowledge and the motivation to believe in myself, that I can make a difference in people later lives. Highly recommend the Coaching Intensive Practicum as well.
It's has been mind blowing for me, it certainly has shaken a lot the way of me viewing life styles, my life, my family, the world and how I can put my grain of sand to help out.
I would've loved to see more updated material, the digital era is moving so fast that it needs to go along and introduce maybe some live teaching sessions during the program.
I don't have enough words to express my appreciation and gratitude for IIN. I feel literally blessed for finding this Institute and further supporting my personal, as well as so many other people, health journey by educating myself from the best professionals of the field, and making lasting behavioural changes!
IIN has changed my approach to food and to life in general, and has managed to grow my passion for being of service and sharing my knowledge with whoever needs it!
I have LOVED being part of the IIN community. Joining the Health Coach training program was one of the best life decisions I've ever made. It has truly changed my own life in the process and I LOVE being able to help others find THEIR healthy as a coach.
I did my graduation and I did the full payment before even we start the course but I didn't get my certificate which supposed to be sent one year now. I contacted them regarding it and they said that they send it via normal post and they ask me if I accept to pay an extra charge to send it via a fast and safe mailing service. I did accept and I paid extra charge but no certificate I tried to reach them via e learning center sending many complain everytime they came with a new reason corona situation and they aren't working in their office so they can't do anything for moment even if I know that all the shipment companies and mailing services are back to work along time ago
I'm really upset about their negligence and no reaction they supposed to assure the reception of my certificate during 4 to 8 weeks after I graduated now it's been one year I didn't get it
I was disappointed overall and did not think that the content was worth 6,000.
I love IIN, great experience and school. Wish more for business aspect of program.
Loved everything about my experience with IIN! Definitely equipped me to be able to start my career as a health coach! I’d do it over again in a heart beat!
I loved everything about IIN! From weekly studies, materials, support materials, website partner opportunity and more. Easy access plus great support! I am proud to be an IIN graduate!
I was so excited to take this course, earn a certificate & become a health coach. I do not feel like the investment (money & time) matched the end result.
PROS:
- Well organized online course. The format is visually appealing, user friendly & easy to navigate.
- Course of study is at your own pace.
- It’s refreshing to feel like you’ve “found your people” who are passionate about holistic health.
CONS:
- Most of the information and materials are pre-recorded (and some out dated) seminars & lectures from previous in person sessions.
- A lot of the information can be found online (Google or YouTube).
- The only interaction with other students and an instructor comes at the end-via weekly conference calls. You feel very disconnected as a student throughout. There are Facebook groups to connect people in your area but it’s not super active after the first few months.
- IMO- you’re not REALLY taught how to be a coach, how to network or how to market your business. All you’re told is to set up a generic website & make business cards. I feel like the program was advertised completely differently. It should probably be more of a business class.
- THE PRICE. This course is not worth $5000-not by a long shot. Before signing up, I asked an IIN graduate & she flat out told me it wasn’t worth the money. I wish I had believed her.
- You don’t have lifetime access to the materials. You get one year after completion to log in. You can save documents but it doesn’t make sense without the format.
I feel pretty disappointed that I spent a year of my life and a big chunk of money on this.
I really loved the content. It was right up my alley, adding to my years of study, validating and expanding on what i know. I was excited and inspired. I wasn't able though to put it into action during the course because it was a lot of info and work on it's own that to also manage starting a business, making a website, business cards, etc. wasn't possible time wise for me. I spent much more than the projected 7-10 hours/week. It would have been helpful to do it during the course because i would have been more supported in my efforts. I wish i could do it again and now create my business under the guidelines and support, but not practical to pay for it again. The biggest bummer was the "graduation celebration"... I was so proud of myself for all my hard work, and there was a build up for this graduation, but it was like an info-mercial to sell more 'products'. i was actually so embarrassed (my partner and i were trying to celebrate with it) that I turned it off. It was as if in that short upsell (aka Graduation Celebration), i lost all respect and motivation for being a health coach & everything i had learned.
