Have been using them for a while but will not use them again. Contacted them well in advance about a birthday cake for my daughter. They confirmed they can do it. We agreed on a design and when I contacted them nearer the time they told me they are fully booked and can't do it. I have contacted other companies who are now fully booked because of the time of the year. Can't believe they can let a child down like this and dont care about one single bit.

Shocking customer service. Lack of response it also terrible. Taken on too many orders and can’t keep up. Avoid.

Really upset to have to post this, but after trying to use JR cakes (who I have bought previous cupcakes etc from) for my wedding I’ve been totally let down. Communication has been shocking. Sometimes waiting up to a week for a reply and being messed around a few times. 3 cancellations for an initial appointment (bearing in mind I live about 40 mins from the cake store). I was willing to ignore this mess around and get a cake for my wedding. After this I was then messed around again with a sample box. The sample box which DID NOT INCLUDE one of my wedding cake flavours 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ after messaging prior to ensure ALL flavours were going to be in the box, it was still forgotten. AGAIN I was willing to overlook this and get the other sample. After trying twice to pick up the last sample, to be palmed off twice AGAIN. I have lost total faith in them. Understanding it’s a small company, but don’t take on more work than you can do. As a customer you pay for GOOD SERVICE, that’s part of it. At the moment I don’t feel JR cakes can provide GOOD SERVICE. Wouldn’t trust them with a birthday party let alone my wedding day. 😅

Also have been reasonable with Josh but refusal to refund the initial deposit (after all these issues) is totally unacceptable. I have not been unreasonable and feel ripped off now. This guy has definitely bitten off more than he can chew 😂😂😂
