They have very good servers and good tech support. But their prices are way too high compared to other options. I stay only because migrating my sites out, would be too painful.

Service is very decent. Pricing and their tax collector attitude is just trash. Here is my anonymous conversation with LeaseWeb customer support after I left:
Hi there! Thank you for visiting our website. How can I help you today?
Tiago
I'm an ex customer of LeaseWeb. I've been with LeaseWeb for 12 years or so (edit: just checked, it's at least 14 years). I've gotten a VPS with 17.5 GB of RAM and 4 CPU cores with 100GB NVMe for just 10€ a month (edit: this VPS is from LUXVPS, not LeaseWeb) while I was paying for a much weaker machine 70€ a month to LeaseWeb. I just came here to wonder why I haven't left sooner
Me
Hi
Im sorry you were not happy with our services!
Tiago
PRICES, the services were very good.
Me
Thats a shame to hear, we usually offer extremely competitive rates
Tiago
I was paying 71€ per month for a 2 core old CPU, 4GB RAM and 100GB HDD. (edit: yes, HDD not SSD)
Nobody can call that competitive
Me
Perhaps you could have asked for a tech refresh, we do this for our old customers when they use outdated machines
Tiago
I could have. You could have also. Instead you chose to raise the price of my machine every 3,4 months
I started at 20 something Euros way back
Me
In the same price range, we offer this machine now, for instance: (edit: link removed, TrustPilot doesn't allow)...
Thats very odd
Did you ever raise this question? We encourage you to open a ticket if you are not satisfied
Tiago
I started with netdirect (edit: in 2013)(edit2: it's actually 03/2010 at the latest, maybe even before that) which was bought by LeaseWeb and since LeaseWeb took over I experienced nothing but price hikes
Me
I understand your frustration, thats less than ideal
Tiago
I moved over to this VPS: (edit: link removed, TrustPilot doesn't allow. It's a 4 vcore, 100GB NVMe, 18GB RAM, 6TB traffic LUXVPS machine on discount)
I don't think you have anything comparable
Me

You can see our VPS offering here: (edit: link removed, TrustPilot doesn't allow)
Tiago
I took a look already. For that money (edit: 10€) I would get 1 core, 1GB RAM, 20GB storage and 4TB traffic
Me
What would you like me to do for you?
Tiago
Nothing... I just came to confirm I made a good choice. Thank you
Me
Sure thing buddy!

So as my machine was getting older and older and less and less competitive their response to this was to raise my price every few months until they pumped it up to 71€!!!!!! for a very old 2 core CPU with 4GB of RAM and 100GB of HDD!!!! YES HDD!!!! Instead of being silent and collecting revenue from a customer who doesn't complain OR being a proactive, responsible hoster and contacting me to say "Hey man, we have these much more powerful machines for less money. Why don't you switch over?" they literally chose to force me away from their service by raising the price 3.5x. YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT, THEY RAISED MY PRICE THREE AND A HALF TIMES - FROM 20 SOMETHING EURO TO 71€ !!!!

I can't speak highly enough of this company. Robust and resilient service, great prices, and good technical support from people who communicate effectively and know what they're talking about.

Ask for your documents and still dont approve the order

Even when prices are high compared with other hosting companies, they charge extra for everything! extra for back-ups, (not included) even for paying with a credit card, you get an extra fee... paypal also. My vps expenses DOUBLE in the last few years, I'm out of here!

I have been their customer for the last 5 years, and you should read these things before you sign up with Leaseweb
.
CONS
1. Minimum 4% Increment every year for Power and Bandwidth
2. You cannot buy a Windows license elsewhere
3. You can not cancel any server before one year or if you missed 1 day canceling the server you'll have to keep it for another year no matter whether you using it or not
4. No 24X7 support it depends on the region of your server
PROS
The servers are pretty good

Been using for over 5 years now, reliable service, some new features, occasional offers and reasonable pricing.

I am mostly happy with my experience using the VPS from LeaseWeb. The performance hits the mark, meeting my data processing and storage needs well. The network is especially standout, with a broad range of peers and notable stability, critical for my online activities.
However, I must point out that the cost of these services is an aspect that deserves a closer look. When directly compared to competitive offerings, the price of the VPS seems a bit steep. For the same rate, I get a server twice as powerful with a German provider, raising questions about LeaseWeb's pricing strategy.
Additionally, the management interface, while functional, appears a bit dated. An update for a more modern and intuitive interface would greatly enhance the user experience.
In sum, despite the undeniable quality of network service and technical performance, the price gap with competitors and the outdated look of the management interface make me hope for future adjustments to stay competitive in a fast-moving and evolving market.

I still cannot fathom why Crytek uses these absolutely awful servers for their games. Black Desert Online understood that Leaseweb servers were awful, and they moved away from them, why can't Crytek do the same thing with Hunt: Showdown, so we can some real servers that actually work?
I've had to deal with 90+ ping on a West coast server that I am CLOSE TO, for 3 years now, and no manner of troubleshooting with my ISP has been able to fix it, meaning it's on Leaseweb's end with their god awful servers.
This company is undoubtedly a scam. Be extremely cautious when considering any contracts with them. They will force you into a cloud server agreement that offers no utility, draining your company's resources and creating an exceedingly difficult ordeal to exit this binding contract.
Without a doubt, this ranks as the most regrettable decision I've ever made.

Worst dedicated hosting provider ever. I have been with iweb last 10 years before leaseweb bought them issues were resolving in alot quicker phase, but since leaseweb purchased them I had alot of issues just as simple as payment issues they couldn't solve their payment proccessing and I had to call them for all my accounts and resolve one by one. Now, they cant even process simple license upgrades on Cpanel without waiting a week. I'm losing clients because of your slow speed service and I won't be staying with them, as soon as I setup with another provider I'm gone. I suggest other people if you like to have slow service and unresolved tickets stay with them otherwise look for another option.

Almost 20 years of experience (I have invoices to testify it), multiple servers VPS and bare metal, we never had, we really mean *never*, an important issue. Of course you have to be very careful on updating and maintaining your server. Great support (only 2 times it was slow) and very, very reliable. We also have other redundant providers in France and Germany, but the difference in CPU performance (especially of medium-low range VPS) and speed is clearly in favor of LW.

Unfortunately in the last 3 years they carried out 2 maintenance procedures and each one made our dedicated servers faulty beyond repair.
The server stopped working and support could not get it back online.

20 years with Leaseweb, big colocation. Excellent network & availability.

I've been a customer for 12 years at Leaseweb so I would like to share my experiences with this company.
In the past my experience was quite good but the last few years this has changed dramatically. The positive points of this company are that they have good prices, lot of servers and provisioning is fast. But if you are going to use their services, please be aware of the following points:
- Annual price increasements:
Every year they will increase the price of your monthly bill due to their "Service fee adjustments". Currently the increasement is 4% every year. Besides that, last year they also applied an extra 4% "energy fee adjustment". So 8% in 1 year. Ironically if I would order the same service again on their website, it's still the old price, without increasements. So only running contracts are negatively affected.
- Price increasements for running contract (multiple year):
I had ordered a server for 2 years and paid in advance for the 2 years. But after 1 year they still applied the "service fee adjustment", even my contract had still 1 year left (and already paid). So I received an extra invoice for this.
- No discount on upgrades for longer contracts:
I had a server with a 2-year contract and paid in advance. I wanted to upgrade this server after 6 months. Then I had to pay the amount of the upgrade directly for the 18 months left, without the discount for my longer contract. In my case I received an invoice of 6000€ (for 2 NVMe disks + RAM upgrade) without any contract discount. Really unfair in my opinion.
- Reseller program not transparant:
Because we had multiple servers we used their reseller program for discount, as we are reselling their servers. Lately we have changed our business name. As a result of that, we had to create a new Leaseweb account and used their Transfer request form to transfer our existing services to the new account (Leaseweb told us we can't keep the old account). As a result of this, they removed our reseller discount and all our services increased in monthly price. When I asked about this, they re-applied the reseller discount, but only for new orders. So the monthly fees for our existing services are now increased. They told me that "Special Conditions" are not transferred to the new account, but I was unaware that the Reseller program falls under "Special Conditions".
This is really untransparant and unfair in my opinion, even when I asked multiple times about this, they where not willing to help. So changing our business name results in a lot of extra costs every month.
- DDoS protection:
We had 1 server which was getting DDoS attacks. Their standard protection goes up to 5Gbps. You can upgrade to Advanced, which goes up to 10Gbps. However be aware that 10Gbps is still a really low protection and was not enough for us. If you want better protection, they offer customized protection, but when I asked about this they told me it's over €1000 monthly so be aware of that. At the end we decided to move the server to another company with much better protection, and that solved it for us.
Maybe 10Gbps is good enough in your case, but we aware of this and check if it suits you needs.
- Customer care
Previously I had an account manager (Greg) where I had close contact with. He always helped me with every request. Since he left I now have to use their ticket system and I always get another employee, where they don't really care about you or your business. They just have predefined scenarios and their replies are standard for most cases. They really don't care about you, I tried to make my point and explain the situation multiple times, but I just receive standard replies with their terms and conditions.
