Enjoyed our visits to Leisure World, highly recommended
We visited Leisure world originally when we were looking for starter items after we had purchased our caravan. The shop is very well stocked and the cafe very tempting. We were new to caravanning and found all of the staff both friendly and knowledgeable with regard to accessories we would require. I should highlight Ben who we dealt with the most, he provided excellent service and went out of his way to get the items we wanted.
Our original visit was almost a year ago and we have visited frequently since then, including today. We did have a couple of issues with the items we originally bought but we contacted Ben and he sorted these out promptly without any fuss. So a great experience all round, highly recommended.

Brought my camper van in for a habitation check. The staff are so friendly, helpful and efficient. The facility has so much to offer to restock and the cafe is amazing.
Caravan service
Our caravan was in for a service. On collecting we mentioned to Sophie we had a problem with the front drawer. She found a service technician who sorted it within 10 minutes. Excellent customer service from Sophie and the technician who fixed the drawer. Unfortunately we can’t remember the technicians name.
New caravan
Picked up our new caravan today and the whole team at leisure world were extremely helpful and attentive. Ellie Brown kept us up to date with progress from order to collection and surprised us with a cheeky bottle of fizz on collection! We will definitely recommend leisure world
Fast service …
We called in today on spec with an issue working the control panel. Margaret who had sold us our motorhome came straight away, but as she was with another customer she got Lawrence to come and look after us, he arrived quickly and was very helpful and friendly and sorted the issue out in a few minutes.

Disappointed in there customer service…
Disappointed in there customer service I have emailed three times in the last couple of weeks regarding a query on a camper van only for it to be passed to a sales person who still hasn't contacted me have bought 2 caravans from them but after this dont think they will be my number one dealers they obviously dont want the business.
Thankyou I did get a reply from your office staff who I contacted twice and she said she would pass on to the sales staff I have checked all my spam and trash folders and I dont see a reply apart from the one I received from you this morning ,due to the time of the query we have now got sorted Regards J.

We bought a £50,000 moter home from this company last year they were problems with the heating camera and Ariel we contacted them on a number of occasions but nobody ever contacted us we used the van for the full season and then contacted them again to take it in for repair we were lied to on a number of occasions staff saying the work had been done and it hadn’t it’s been with them for 12 weeks and it still they have not finished the repairs we were promised I would never buy from this company again the customer service is completely unacceptable they haven’t a clue how to treat customers so very disappointed nobody has even apologised for the inconvenience it has caused and the lies that have been told to us

2nd visit to Leisure World
I recently visited Leisure World in Catterick regarding an ongoing issue with my motorhome, specifically an engine management light that had been causing concern.
I have to say, the service team—Andrew and Lauren—were extremely helpful from the outset. They took the time to look into the issue properly and, rather than just guessing or pushing unnecessary work, they were honest and professional in their approach.
What really stood out was that they recommended a specialist company, Truck Technics in Leyburn. They even made the initial call for me and then handed everything over, which made the whole process seamless and stress-free.
After speaking with Truck Technics and taking their advice, I’m pleased to say the issue has now been resolved. The service there was absolutely brilliant, and the repair was carried out at a lower cost than what I’d been quoted by a Fiat main dealer.
Overall, I really appreciated the honesty, support, and customer-first attitude from Andrew, Lauren, and the team. It’s refreshing to deal with a company that genuinely wants to help rather than just sell.
Highly recommended.

Manufacture awning recall
Karen was great in setting up a recall of awning from the manufacturer last week. I also had a call from her the day before to confirm. Top class service. My only negative comment was the van window and body was left with what must have been remnant of the new glue to the awning, which took a bit of elbow grease to remove - thankfully all removeable. A cover up of the van body would have been a useful preventative measure in future operations.

A good selection of Caravans and a really well stocked shop for accessories made it a little too easy to spend money !
The staff I dealt with during my caravan purchase deserve a mention ( and the lemon drizzle cake from the cafe!) James who looked after me on the purchase of the Caravan was really knowledgeable and made my wife and I feel at ease . In the shop (I think her name was Mandy) we picked up a few items including a couple of good recommendations from Mandy .
Overall a great experience and looking forward to visiting parts of Britain we’ve never explored before !
Thanks to the all the team at Ropers for making it an enjoyable experience.

Great experience with Josh
We have just purchased our first ever caravan from Josh at leisure world in catterick. The whole process has been a breeze. Being totally new (and clueless) we have had a million questions and Josh answered every single one for us.
Shout out to the staff in the shop aswell who helped talk us through the different accessories and awning options.
As it's our first caravan we don't have anything to compare it to but its been great service and we have been really well looked after by Josh and the team. I don't think it could've been any smoother start to finish.

Wonderful helpful staff that went out of their way to ensure the work that I require on my caravan went smoothly and exactly as I required.
I would have no hesitation on recommending Leisure World (Catterick) to family and friends. Really go part-exchange
I had a fantastic experience with Leisure World at Catric. Sophie, the sales assistant, was absolutely brilliant. She helped me part-exchange my Basecamp 4 for a Basecamp 3, which is a year and a half newer. The whole process was smooth—Sophie explained every step, we discussed a fair price, and even on two occasions, they treated me to free coffee in their lovely canteen. The caravan is just as described—I’m really happy and excited for the trips ahead.
