My experience with lighthouse was amazing! I worked with another apartment finder company and it was HORRIBLE, I told the person they assigned to me my credit score and she told me to find a roommate or live with family (mind you I never asked her and I moved to a new state by myself). Unsolicited opinion, and then she closed out my account- and I couldn’t even look at the 5 apartments she found for me, IMMEDIATELY. Also, I would not have been able to get money back for that and I couldn’t reach out to any apartments by myself-otherwise my agent wouldn’t get credit. This app was a game changer, I had toured at least 20 apartments by the time I found the app and nothing clicked with me. This was the first and only apartment I toured from the app and BOOM - I got 5 weeks free, $101 refunded for my app and admin fee, $900 cash back from lighthouse, the apartment I signed up for had an electricity special for 2 months free with the electricity provider I selected, and I have fiber internet. My very first apartment by myself and I have been SO lucky. Not only that but this was one of the best leasing agent experiences ever. It actually turns out the apartment complex I chose hasn't worked with lighthouse in ~10 years. However, since it was listed on the lighthouse app during my search and I did everything correct on my end, they still honored the cash back and just CashApped it to me instead.

I would suggest to the lighthouse staff and developers that they go through and update the search results to keep current and avoid any snags.

I will be recommending this service to those on the hunt for apartments and rentals.

I moved to Houston and I was having an issue because 11 years ago I had an eviction so when I got to Houston I couldn't find an apartment that would rent to me even with a cosigner. I first tried to go through this company that supposedly help with second Chance apartments and that was a waste of time. Then I found lighthouse and I put my criteria in and the first place I went to I got my apartment. I wish I went to lighthouse at the beginning. Thank you Lighthouse!

They are quick with finding out about your lease details and they make sure that what they promise is fulfilled fast and easy.

Being assigned a real-person assistant allowed for easy communication and trust. Letting go of some of the research responsibility was also a bonus. I had a great experience because she never gave up on helping my roommate and I find a place. Once we did, we continued to stay in communication until we had no more concerns. Every interaction was detailed and friendly. I loved using the Lighthouse app :).
