What is advertised is NOT what I receive. This koala is just a stuffed hard toy ude win at the show. For 73$ it is a scam, and not worth yr money. I got this for my daughter for a gift , since I got it in October , but Xmas was December , they would not refund or at least send me what they advertise. Don’t waste yr money.

Brought one Kola toy for my little one for his Christmas, we saw his ads from Pinterest, got the kola , but it is not like what you see from the ads !!! It is just a cheap quality soft toys. Nothing to do with AI, contact the customer, they offer 25% gift vouchers if we keep the product, but that product you even don’t want to keep it or give it away. Trying to asked for return , and they asked you have to arrange the shipping and pay for the shipping …. Which we just realized they are not in uk!! Do check the company before you buy anything . What a lesson.

BEWARE. I bought an interactive koala bear, what arrived was a cheap fare ground stuffed toy, nothing like the advertisment and worth a fraction of the price charged. Their customer service was nothing more than a dead end AI loop designed to avoid any engagements or customer service. A complete con.

I had not read these reviews before I purchased the koala for my Granddaughter. How can they keep getting away with sending us cheap imitations nothing like their advertisement and then charging us so much money. I too have sent a great number of emails with no solution.

This company is selling poor quality soft toys claiming they are interactive their advert on Pinterest shows the toy moving independently and selling them at a ridiculous price of £32 that would cost pennies from china this is a scam company. Be warned people!!

Do NOT buy from this company. The items advertised bear no resemblance to the poor quality version you will receive. When you contact them to return the product, they will offer you limited-time Modanoma vouchers to redeem online but will not offer you your money back. Don't risk it.

Exactly the same as everyone else's experience! My daughter suffers with anxiety and I thought this would be such a lovely gift for her. So I was very disappointed when a (badly) stuffed Koala turned up today instead of what was advertised. Kicking myself, should have known better.

I want to warn others about my experience with Modanoma. I ordered what was advertised as an “AI-powered moving koala plush”, but what I received was just a regular stuffed toy with no technology at all.

When I contacted customer service, they only offered unacceptable “solutions”: a small discount on my next order, a partial refund, or to return the product – to China, even though they present themselves as a Dutch company.

Shipping the item back to China would cost me around €55, which is completely unreasonable for a product that was not as described. I also opened a PayPal dispute, but Modanoma provided a Chinese return address, so the case was closed in their favor because I refused to pay for the return.

Their website and Trustpilot profile make it seem like a legitimate Dutch business with only positive reviews, but my experience was the exact opposite.

In short: misleading advertising, poor customer service, and unrealistic return costs make it nearly impossible to get your money back.

Hopefully, this review prevents others from falling into the same trap.

I seem to be having the same problem as everyone else. They are falsely advertising a koala bear that is supposed to move realistically . I just received a stuffed toy that looks nothing like the one in the advert. They should be ashamed of themselves scamming people. The advert should be stopped. I hope no one else purchases this item

Just received a koala toy from this company, a gift for my granddaughter's birthday. The video and photos on the website show an animated toy, very realistic, like the real thing complete with claws. The commentary said that it was designed by AI to mimic the realistic movements of a real Koala which was shown cuddling and nestling into the recipient. When it arrived, it was vacuum packed and nothing like the image on the website. An ordinary plush toy, no movement whstsoever and certainly didn't look realistic in any way. Very disappointed. Please don't waste your money.

Selling koala bears that look like they are cuddling! That’s false advertising about a typical stuffed toy

Fraudulent sellers. I ordered a product and they sent me instead a random piece of junk. They are refusing to provide a refund—instead offering a store credit for 25% of the value of the purchase.
