Modulr has been great to use so far

Modulr has been great to use so far, however had an issue with a payment not going through and stuck at pending stage. Called customer support and Sara was so helpful and resolved the issue within minutes.

Issues with submitting application

I experienced issues with submitting an application. It was unclear where the problem lay due to all areas of the form being "ticked" as completed. I worked with Thomas Fraser, who supported with providing a quick solution that enabled the application to be submitted- Thanks!

help with a bank transfer to Modulr

Shay was really helpful. He said he would check in with the compliance team about a transfer I made into Modulr and make sure that we could get it credit to make payments that day. He then followed up with an email to let me know that it had all been approved and credited.

A consistent first class service provider

Problem with refund

This review is mainly for Thomas. I had an issue with my refund from a client and called customer service which I spoke with Thomas. Afterwards, Thomas sent an email to know if I have finally gotten the refund which I told him no and he followed up a couple of time till I finally got my money. Thank you so much for a great service

Good and quick customer support and…

Good and quick customer support and good Faster Payments functionality.

Would love BACS Direct Debits for SMEs. Was told that this was not supported, and that it was not on Modulr's strategic agenda.

SMEs use Direct Debits to pay suppliers. Modulr have the tech capability to support Direct Debits, the sort code supports them and it's a feature advertised to their vIBAN issuer customers. What gets in the way of also extending this standard service to SMEs that would use it the most?

Amazing news, you are making the right strategic choice.

Not only will this make Modulr one step closer to a full-fledged account for SMEs and increase usability as main account, but it could even have unexpected benefits like easing your ongoing monitoring compliance work by providing you with fuller picture of SME client operations - including DD supplier payments which are traditionally low-risk - without having to use many support man-hours requesting documentation from clients.

I will make sure to update to 5 stars when this is active and working!

As you have noted, it is not an area of growth that Modulr is looking to focus on. However, input from our customers is valuable for us to learn, grow and improve as a business so I will certainly pass on the feedback on the desire for DD functionality being available for a wider customer base and how this would be useful for customers like yourself, regardless of it not being a current area of interest.

As I mentioned in my earlier reply, I raised this as feedback internally and have an update for you. We have heard from several customers like yourself who are keen to benefit from Direct Debit access to pay suppliers, and the good news is that we intend to offer this service to our Business Payment customers in the future. We'll be in touch with more details about our Direct Debit service when we have a launch date.

I hope this clarifies things for you. I'd like to apologise for the mixed messaging you have received on this and please don't hesitate to reach out if there is anything else I can help with.
