As a financial institution, we strive to deliver excellent payment services to our customers while complying with strict laws and regulations.
This also means that we must sometimes decide that we can no longer provide our services to a business based on our internal policies. Such cases include:
If you are active in selling prohibited products and services
If your business activities pose an unacceptable risk for Mollie according to our internal policies;
If you or your business has a negative reputation online; or,
If we receive a significant number of complaints about you or your business.
Based on the information that is available to us, you fall within one of these cases. Unfortunately, we cannot continue providing our services to your business for this reason.
Therefore, we are terminating your account with immediate notice in accordance with Article 8.8 of the User Agreement, which you accepted when you created your account. The remaining funds in your balance will be subject to a payout assessment on 23/09/2026, and you will be informed of the outcome on that date. Mollie reserves the right to use the balance to cover consumer refunds, fees, or fines related to your processing activities, in accordance with Articles 4.4, 6.1, and 8.2 of the User Agreement.
Following the recent assessment of your account, your merchant account is scheduled to be placed on the MATCH/VMSS listing due to identified non-compliance issues. This decision is final, and will not be reconsidered.

Today is the payout day. A year ago my account was blocked, support said they would pay out my funds on 16/10/2025, after half a year. On 16/10/2025 they wrote that they were extending the hold for another half a year. The date they set is 16/04/2026. Today I sent them two emails. No response.
I am addressing support: you have been holding my funds for a year. I strongly ask you to release my funds TODAY!
I do not recommend working with this payment system, because there is always a risk of getting blocked and losing access to your funds. They have been holding my money for a year!!! Just imagine that!!! Half a year ago I received confirmation from them that all my funds are with them, but for unknown reasons they would keep holding them for another half a year!!! TODAY IT HAS BEEN EXACTLY ONE YEAR SINCE THE BLOCK!!! GIVE MY MONEY BACK!!!

The AI agent had already done a thorough job of checking things, and then the call was transferred to Natalia, who immediately identified the issue, verified it, and resolved my various problems. Answering on mails takes 10 days - So 10 days your company can't accept payments or even deposit to your bank account. Chat are only for brainless people telling you nothing except "Just wait we will get back to you".
