I have today made a further request for a drawdown. What I would have liked was a transcript of my submission for my records information. You do not exactly turn around requests with speed, so having a copy of my request - AUTOMATICALLY, on my computer would be helpful just as I have cc'd myself on this email.
I fail to see why companies such as yourselves do not even provide a question on any form, request send in.
- WOULD YOU LIKE A TRANSCRIPT/COPY OF YOUR SUBMISSION FOR YOUR RECORDS.
Please do think about this, I can't believe other customers would find it helpful.

My late father took out a loan secured against his home, and our experience with More2Life has left a very bitter taste.
The interest charged was astronomical and seemed to grow relentlessly over time. What may have appeared manageable at the start quickly became a significant burden. Looking back, I have serious concerns about whether enough was done to assess my father's vulnerability and whether he fully understood the long-term consequences of the product he was entering into.
What I find most upsetting is that when the borrower passes away, the impact does not end there. The beneficiaries are left dealing with the consequences, mounting interest, and pressure to resolve the debt against the estate. It feels as though the company's priority is maximising its return rather than protecting potentially vulnerable customers.
In my opinion, there should have been far greater safeguards, scrutiny, and support given the life-changing implications of securing debt against a person's home. Families considering equity release or a lifetime mortgage should proceed with extreme caution, obtain truly independent advice, and carefully examine how much the debt could grow over time.
Based on our experience, I would never recommend this company. The entire process felt heavily weighted in the lender's favour, with vulnerable people and their families ultimately bearing the cost.

Altaf provided exceptional support with a recent home purchase. There were several obstacles to resolve before the agreed completion date, and he took personal responsibility for keeping the funding on track. He stayed in regular contact with More2Life’s solicitors, Enact, and with me, making sure we knew what was needed and when.
Altaf delivered on his promises. Thanks to his persistence and clear communication, our client was able to complete the purchase of his new home on the agreed date. I’m very grateful for the care and commitment he showed throughout. A well-deserved five stars.

Think very very carefully about approaching this company for any form of business.
A 2nd 1 star review as at 23rd September 2026, no movement has been made with the letter of attorney.
Very nice people on the telephone but my suspicions are behind the scenes are one of poor processes, incompetence, short-staffing or a just don't care mindset. They are very good at applying 6.08% interest month on month.
Todays headlines, letter of attorney not accepted due to terminally ill mother-in-laws signature not matching her signature when she opened the account, a standing order payment rejected due to it being it should be a direct debit, although more2life's own documentation states standing orders are accepted, and the request to email the entire 16 page power of attorney.
I see using AI that "The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of more2life is Dave Harris, who has led the later-life equity release lender since September 2013".
Dave if this is true, you're getting let down, prove me wrong.
I look forward to the auto-generated response.

The lady who dealt with my application answered me very quickly and affirmatively which stopped me stressing about ‘what they’d say’ and she was more than kind and clear about what she needed from me, so it was a very happy interaction for me. Thank you Chloe.

I started my application for equity release in May. Almost 4 months on and I'm no nearer to completion than I was at the start. It appears to me that equity release takes longer than it does to actually buy or sell a property. I don't know when or if I'll receive a payment but what I am sure about is that it won't be any time this side of Christmas!
UPDATE!!
Two weeks on from my original review. I sent my full details as requested by More2Life immediately. Still no updates from them, apart from to tell me that the original offer will expire soon. I don't know why as I accepted the offer in mid July!

The stress free request for further drawdown via telephone application today to More2Life. The professionalism of Asife Ehsan, his courtesy & respect for myself, his thorough security checks. Clearly setting out conditions (interest charges and fluctuations etc). Most of all, Asife is a credit to the company and made feel comfortable. I will reiterate Asife made the process stress free. Also a special mention to my Key Advisor Neil Clarke who continues to support his clients as I notified him today of my further drawdown request.

Wonderful experience with More2life. My mother passed away with an equity loan on her house, which was to be paid off within a year of her passing. Unfortunately, as well as living out of the country, we suffered a personal tragedy that caused delays in putting the house on the market, followed by the house needing a new roof, which caused further delays. The staff at More2life showed trust, compassion and understanding throughout. I think what helped was constant communication. As we all know, these days it is a relief to speak with humans and not have to deal with AI.
