Great Idea + Easy to Use
Placed an order on MyProtein and a 'free plant a tree' offer was bundled so I figured why not. The actual tree planting process was easy and hassle-free. It's a great initiative that deserves more attention.

Great idea!
Fantastic organisation! Just placed an order with MyProtein and it came up with an option to plant a tree for free. Of course, why not! Such a great idea and definitely will be using in future. My friends and family will love it also! Love the aspect that you can see where the tree may be planted!

Needs more options for planting trees
The app is great and well made.
However the options are limited to a few projects in far away places. The option to plant trees in your local area into projects that don't plant monocultures of trees would be preferred.
Planting monocultures of trees is detrimental to ecosystems and don't provide the right environment to support healthy biodiversity which is one of the primary reasons, as well as carbon capture, for planting more trees.
A project like this is nothing more than lip service unless it is coordinated in a meaningful way.

We don't have monoculture options - all of our projects are biodiverse because, as you have pointed out, this is really important for supporting healthy biodiversity.
We currently have projects in three different locations and have many more in the pipeline.
